Hey! I’m looking for someone interested in writing a long-term Doctor × Patient roleplay with a strong focus on character development and a story that unfolds naturally over time. I’d like the relationship to grow slowly through meaningful interactions, trust, and shared experiences rather than rushing straight into romance.

I’m imagining a modern setting where one character is a doctor and the other is a patient dealing with a serious injury, illness, or a difficult recovery. I think this kind of dynamic offers plenty of opportunities for emotional moments, personal growth, difficult choices, and realistic drama. I’m happy for the story to include mystery, suspense, or other plot elements if they fit naturally, but I’d like the characters and their development to remain the main focus.

I don’t have every detail planned out because I’d rather build the plot together and make sure we’re both excited about where the story is going. I usually match my partner’s writing length and care much more about creating an engaging story than replying as quickly as possible.

I'm open to pretty much any genre. I've mostly been writing slice of life recently, but I'm just as happy with fantasy, sci-fi, historical settings, or fandoms. I especially enjoy romance, particularly slow burns where the characters and their relationships develop naturally over time. More than anything, I love character-driven stories.

One thing that's important to know about my writing style is that I prefer discovering the story as we write rather than planning every little detail beforehand. Brainstorming and sharing prompts is great, but I don't want to spend days or weeks constructing worlds, outlining plots, or creating characters before we even begin.

I've found that putting hours into planning often leads nowhere when a roleplay never gets off the ground, so these days I'd much rather get an idea we're both excited about and start writing. We can always build the story, the world, and the details naturally as we go.

In fandoms, I mostly play canon characters. I'm happy to play an original character if my partner already has one they'd like me to write, but I don't create original characters myself.

I love writing villains, antiheroes, and morally grey characters. Flawed people, complicated relationships, conflict, and character growth are much more interesting to me than picture-perfect heroes.

I'm flexible when it comes to reply length and usually mirror my partner. Whether you write short replies or long, detailed ones, I'm happy to adapt. Naturally, longer replies take longer to write, and breaks are completely fine. The only thing I ask is that we don't start a roleplay with one reply a week—I enjoy getting a little momentum going at the beginning.

A little bonus: if anyone happens to want to RP in Swedish, I'd absolutely love that! It's not a requirement at all, though—English works perfectly too.

Your character can be a notorious outlaw, seasoned bounty hunter, gunslinger, drifter, ex soldier…whatever you want!

My character is a reckless young woman who’s spent her life surviving on the fringes of society. Taught to rely on no one but herself, she’s as wild as the untamed frontier itself. After mouthing off to the wrong man at the wrong time, she’s captured by a gang planning to sell her.

Your character intercepts the men for a bounty (or perhaps for other reasons, totally up to you). What he doesn’t expect is that the captive woman immediately turns on him as well, fighting tooth and nail despite the fact he just saved her.

Pretty as a dove. Deadly as a wildcat. Reckless as a mustang.

His original plan is simple: free her, give her one of the dead men’s horses, and ride off in the opposite direction.

Instead, much to his annoyance, and perhaps hers, she decides to follow him.

From there, the two are thrown into a journey across the unforgiving frontier, chased by bounty hunters, outlaws, lawmen, and the ghosts of their own pasts. I’m looking for a story full of gunfights, campfire conversations, impossible choices, found family, healing old wounds, bloodshed, and a slow burn romance!

Anything can be changed or added. These are just very basic ideas.

1. An apocalypse rp. It could be a zombie one, alien invasion, or even something like doppelgängers among human kind. The survivors, and anyone they meet along the way, are on a mission.
2. In this fantasy idea, could be medieval too or not, monsters exist alongside humans. But they don’t get along. A human that hates monsters is cast out from their kingdom and reluctantly teams up with a monster on a quest to eventually win back the favor of their kingdom.
3. Inspired by “The Summer Hikaru Died.” After a mysterious incident, your friend comes

back wrong and you’re the only one who notices.

4. ⁠A small town is forced into quarantine. Anyone who was in it, whether just visiting or not, is forced to stay in the area. However, there is no news coverage about the situation. Two people take it upon themselves to figure out the truth.

Hello everyone! I'm looking for a horrorish roleplay with themes of lovecraft and mystery, imagine gravity falls. I'm aching for a roleplay that is fun, engaging, mysterious. I've been roleplaying for about three years now, on and off, and my length is generally two to three medium paragraphs long.

The settings of this story is around a northwestern part of usa, with tall pine trees that stretch across the horizon, only a small town in these parts of the place and mysterious sights, and stuff happens.... especially when the fog rolls in, also there is a weird tall broadcast station that stands above the trees not far from that town, and that is where our characters would be based and works at.

I am going to start by covering some information about myself and what I hope to hear from you in your introduction.

[1] Hello, my internet alias is Bubbles, I am a 24-year-old female roleplayer from England. It's coming home! 🦁 I have been writing for 11+ years.

[2] My timezone is currently BST (or GMT+1) my availability is inconsistent but can be judged around sociable hours for my timezone with me tending to be busier on weekends. As it's currently FIFA World Cup time, I'll be awake during unsociable hours also!

[4] Specifics of prose - I only write in 3rd person past tense, I do not metagame, godmod or write Mary Sues. ASOIAF/GOT:

I am happy to play OCs or CCs for this fandom.

My absolute dream RP would be some sort of formula of Lyanna Stark surviving the Rebellion, living with the consequences of her actions either by marrying Robert Baratheon or Rhaegar Targaryen. (Permitted we interpret Rhaegar's intentions for Lyanna as marriage.)

This time period is also where I feel most comfortable but I would be happy doing any pairings. I would also be interested in the AGOT time period, preferably with OCs or similar AU changes. Let me know if you have any ideas for this.

I haven't watched HotD but would be interested in doing any sort of Targaryen era AU, perhaps Aegon's Conquest or the Dance itself.

The Hunger Games:

I don't have an interest in playing canon characters for this fandom.

I am interested in writing from the perspective of what happens after the games. For this one, or both of us could play a Hunger Games victor, explore their experiences of the Capitol and how they are psychologically/personally affected. I am eager to world-build Districts we don't see much of, as well as the inequalities of the Capitol itself.

For romance, we could either do a Victor/Sponsor, Victor/Victor or Victor/Staff duo. For Victor/Victor we could either do them from the same or culturally very different districts.

ATLA/LOK:

I would like to write a sympathetic prequel, perhaps we could replace Avatar Roku and Fire Lord Sozin for our own dynamic, and things could arrive at wherever the tide takes us.

Azula's redemption? It's my opinion that the comics have done a poor job at exploring the world after Book 3. Making our own Book 4/5 would be particularly fun and would definitely lean into the Star Wars inspirations for the series. This gives us other opportunities for post-canon Gaang, which would be pretty fun!

Korra Sequel. One of us would take up the mantle of the new Earth "Kingdom" Avatar, we may have to change some things from Korra's canon, or worldbuild them out to get a grasp of where we are and what the rules of the world are.

Slice of Life:

Not interested in doing a basic boyfriend simulator. I have two ideas for a typical modern slice-of-life that would stay interesting for both of us.

- Celebrity x Celebrity/Normal Person

Whether this is a star Premier League footballer dating an actress, or two members of the same band, or whatever, having the pressure of the whole world looking in on their relationship is going to be interesting! It allows us to enjoy a variety of settings and motivations.

Hence the title, I am in search of a long term role play partner. I’m sensitive, so please be a gentle top, but since this is long term, who knows I might warm up and explore.
