- Something with werewolves or vampires. Preferably in the modern age. I would like to lean into them living alongside humans. Hiding who they are. Maybe even have one of the main characters be a monster hunter?

-Jurassic Park. I’m looking for a completely original story here. Something about dinosaurs going lost on an island and our characters left behind screams fun to me. Hoping to write a scientist intern that will have a lot of explaining to do to the officials about what they did in the genetic lab.

- Hunger Games! Hoping for a plot outside of the arena. (including a victor OC completely fine)

When the world was told there were angels among them they expected divine winged beings, not beats that danced the line between human and divine.

The ANGEL project was supposed to save the world, at least that's what they claimed. The serum, when administered to a 'worth' child allowed them to transcend their mortal shell and become something more. Something more powerful than any human could comprehend, they become his angel spawn and would deliver divine justice to the world.

How on earth did no one realize Dammon Vass was quite insane?

He got his funding regardless, even once the government turned around and denied him, stating his science was just a myth that his twisted mind had concocted. This didn't stop him seeking the money for the wealthy, promising them personal guardians that were discrete and indestructible. No one knew how many kids were stolen away into the program. 20 lived through the first administration of the angel serum. 15 lived past their 12th birthday and 8 made it to adulthood.

They were assigned numbers based on what Dammon believed they were capable of. One through eight. One, two and three were given to those who funded the project upon their 18th birthday. Two was soon killed protecting his new master, Three went mad and was sent back to Dammon to be "disposed of". It was One who broke everything.

Now it turns out if you rip a child from their home, make them suffer through their very existence being torn apart and put together again and then teach them to be unparalleled in their destructive ability... They aren't very loyal. One turned on the world. First the woman who employed him and her family found as nothing more than red paste. Next was Dammon, he made a spectacle of killing his master, a public display.

It took two weeks to bring One under control. The world was terrified that there were others coming for them. The whole project was dismantled. The bodies of Two and Three were found, Dammon had been trying to work out what had gone wrong, why they weren't perfect. Four and five ran, but were swiftly caught and terminated. Six and seven surrendered themselves, they were only 17 and 18 but more powerful than any trained soldier. Eight, the youngest, was never found.

That was five years ago now. The building Dammon used as a lab stood in ruin, this old log book rippled in the wind as you flicked through the pages. The man had recorded everything, the name of every child he had taken, where they were from, how they died. Someone else must have come back to finish it as the last page read off the fates of his precious eight.

They had felt eyes on them since they arrived. A figure always hiding just outside their peripheral vision. Eight had not stopped them from searching through old log books, cells that used to hold children and teens. A pair of eyes was simply watching them piece together how large the angel project truly was.

Eight was not the only surviving ANGEL, though she was the only one who still lingered here. The more they discovered, the more damning the evidence became, this was not the only ANGEL project. This was one project of twelve, all under different names, all had their own version of the serum, all their communications were here. Angels truly were among you, they had been the entire time, walking time bombs.

Dammon's eight had just been the failures, the catalyst for the destruction of their creator and the release of untamed beats masquerading as humans into the world.

I’m looking for a literate, long-term writing partner to play a royal guard in a medieval fantasy setting.

My character is Princess Jain Hepburn of Deansgate. She’s beautiful, charismatic, and utterly spoiled since the death of her mother. For years she’s made life as difficult as possible for the poor soul assigned to protect her.
She drinks too much, sneaks out of the castle disguised as a commoner, slips away to village taverns, starts fights she has no business winning, climbs walls she shouldn’t be climbing, and somehow always manages to disappear the moment her guard looks away. Half the court adores her. The other half would happily see someone finally tell her “no.”

Unfortunately for her guard… nobody ever does.

The initial dynamic I’m looking for is something of a cat-and-mouse game. The guard is endlessly chasing after her, dragging her back before anyone notices she’s missing, covering for her disasters, and somehow keeping her alive. Jain absolutely delights in making their job impossible. It’s become a game between them—one filled with sharp banter, stolen moments, unresolved tension, and a relationship that neither of them has ever bothered to define.

Sm*t is welcome here from page one, but I’m looking for it to complement the story rather than replace it.

The roleplay truly begins when Jain is informed she’ll be leaving Deansgate to fulfil an arranged marriage with the heir of the neighbouring kingdom of South-on-Sea.

Her guard is ordered to accompany the royal caravan.

Suddenly, the rules change.

They’re no longer hidden behind familiar castle walls where everyone is used to their strange dynamic. Every glance, every private conversation, every late-night disappearance could be noticed by members of the caravan, foreign nobles, or Jain’s future family. At the same time, both are forced to confront what this relationship actually means when the possibility of losing it becomes very real.

I’m imagining plenty of opportunities for political intrigue, assassination attempts, awkward royal dinners, sneaking out of unfamiliar castles, tense campfire conversations, jealous fiancés, impossible choices, and the gradual shift from playful pursuit into genuine partnership.

What I’m looking for:

* Third person, past tense.
* Multi-paragraph to novella-style replies.
* Someone who enjoys character development as much as plot.
* Romance that develops naturally.
* Writers who enjoy collaborative worldbuilding and bringing their own ideas.

This will be MY first post reaching out to other people for roleplay as normally i just reply to other peoples posts! I am a role-player of around 10 years, I have been roleplaying on and off for that entire time. And after a long break after finishing my degree I am ready to get back into it. Enough about me though, lets talk about if we are a good fit!

I do 3rd person, past tense ("She lifted the cup" for example, for those who don't know), I also change lengths depending on situation in RP! I lean towards 2-3 paragraphs minimum though, but i will ALWAYS give you something to work with. Also as a note, i do RP relationships, but that is not the point of RPs for me, and id prefer slow burns with issues over time before character get together, I also only use discord to roleplay

I also LOVE talking about out plot, coming up with ideas together, seeing where our characters go and more, I wanna see your characters outfits in the scenes! I wanna talk about them! being able to brainstorm together is a MUST!

The Spare Room
Luke Callahan never imagined he’d end up with a roommate.

His off-campus apartment had been perfect from the moment he’d signed the lease. Close enough to campus that he could walk to lectures, big enough for his architecture projects to take over the dining table, and just far enough away from the chaos of the dorms that he could escape when he wanted to.

The second bedroom had never really mattered. It had become little more than extra storage, somewhere to dump moving boxes, hockey equipment and the occasional half-finished model when his desk ran out of space.

Then, just a week before the new semester, his landlord reminded him that the lease allowed for a second tenant. If he wasn’t using the room, there was no reason not to rent it out.

After a handful of viewings and a surprising number of people he knew immediately wouldn’t work, one applicant stood out.
The paperwork was signed.

The deposit was paid.

Hi all!! I have been roleplaying for so long now that it's actually not even funny. It started as text roleplay, became ttrpg -- you know, the normal path. It’s been a hot minute since I’ve done anything close to writing but I’ve felt filled with the yearn to write a good (sapphic?) love story. Anyways it’s a small dumb idea sure but I hope you enjoy it!

\\- Old Friends (Roommates): We both went our individual ways after college and though we said we'd keep in touch, we weren't exactly great about it. Our friend group absolutely knew we had on-and-off crushes on each other and likely poked fun at us about it but we were really just never single at the same time. That, and by the end of our time -- the one of us that was in a relationship had a partner that was dead set on us no longer meaningfully hanging out. That was the beginning of the end. Now, as our friend group circulates stories, we find out that both of us are in need of a roommate as I (or you, doesn't matter to me!) move back into the city we grew up in. We haven't seen each other in years, its exciting and nerve-wracking to reintroduce yourself to someone that mattered so much to you. Though, turns out, ya know...feelings don't always die.

PLOT:

I was craving a small idea I had recently.

I hoped for our characters to be a witch and an Undead (a warrior/knight/mercenary/whatever your character could be), cursed to come back to life every time he dies. Take an example the Undead from the Souls series.
Of course we can talk about the curse in detail in DMs.

I wanted to explore their journey through a crumbling world where magic is despised and their struggles to reach their goal.
What is said goal? It's up to us to decide! It could be money, power or simply finding a cure to the curse.

And of course their relationship, which can be genuine or just the two using each other for their own gains.
I really enjoy dark and complex romance, and even more complex characters.

I want a story where our characters are not the heroes but act on behalf of their own interests.

(PLEASE I love morally grey characters).

I do not require an extensive character sheet. I am okay with you making a character just for this roleplay too.

I’m on the prowl for a fun loving, longterm roleplay partner who enjoys lore crafting, world building, same-gender pairings, and supernatural romance. Hello hello! I hope you all are having a good time of day. I dont usually roleplay SciFi or anything with aliens, but I wanted to try this idea out! The gist is that: my character is an alien that crash lands onto your back yard (or close by) and your character goes out to discover an alien! There is a different plot at the end. If neither works; wr discuss a different idea!

Once they are discovered, your character takes her back home and try to help her repair her ship to get herself home? Your character could be trying to hide her from others like friends, people they live with and officials! Im looking for my character to have difficulties integrating into human society, and not understanding their tradition/norms. Your character would be assisting her in this. Im looking for them to grow together, have fun adventures on earth and then have to question whether she needs to leave or not.

Why did they crash? That can be discussed! Some ideas I have are:

* she was on course to a different planet, but her ship malfunctioned.

* perhaps they were part of a secret operation in taking over earth? Maybe she was sent to infiltrate earth and, thanks to the landing, has been discovered and had to improvise a plan.

* maybe the alien has taken the disguise as another person already. Someone that your character knows. Your character has a broken home/imperfection of their lives and my character studies humans through them.

Hello! My name is Bri (F 29)! I am currently looking to play out a long-term steamy romance plot! This will revolve around two friends, or perhaps ex-friends who have spent a few years apart and are now reunited. I am envisioning this as a small town, cowboy x cowgirl, cozy story that hits all of the feelings! Happiness, sadness, anger, confusion, you name it, I want the story to include it! Getting into the nitty gritty of why y/n left and see where things can go now that you’re home for a few months.

A little housekeeping before we get into the good stuff:

- I would consider myself on the semi-lit side of things when it comes to writing, typically posting anywhere from 3-10+ paragraphs per post. I have been known to max out the discord character limit once, if not twice for some posts. With this also comes flexibility, I’ll match my partners post lengths to the best of my ability. Please do not feel like you must match my lengths. Sometimes I get a little into it and lose myself to the ideas as they come to me!

- I prefer to write in first person POV, however this can be discussed further as I do know some prefer third person.

- I am on EST, however don’t let this stop you from reaching out! We can still create something fantastic together even with a time difference between us.

- on average I can post 3-5 times a day, depending on the lengths of detail and the current scene we’re in. Sometimes there will be more posts than others.

- I expect my partner to be literate, punctual, and for their responses to make sense. Please do not use shortened words like “U” or “Idk” when writing in your post (unless it is in a ‘text message’ style format) - just write the entire word.

- I expect partner collaboration on the story. Ideas, characters, places, etc! It’s no fun if only one person is carrying the entire planning and story. In doing such, the roleplay will be immediately ended. Put forth some effort please.

Now onto the good stuff! Below I will include a little back story into the plot I have in mind. This is by no means concrete and can be changed around as we see fit!

Our parents had been best friends since they were children. Growing up together, school, college, you named it, the four of them were inseparable. When they bought land and built their houses side by side it was no surprise that they decided to get into the ranching business together. They started their families, and their business side by side through everything.

This was a big reason why it was no surprise that their children grew up being the best of friends also. Especially myself and y/n. We were joined at the hip. Rodeos, competitions, school dances. If there was one of us, the other was right beside. However, with such a close bond feelings were bound to get caught.

Y/n always had a knack for music and singing. I could listen to your voice for hours on end and never get tired of it. You had received a record deal and a tour all wrapped into one. People around the world already knew your name, calling you the next best country music artist they’d seen in twenty years. You had gone back and forth on the idea of going or staying. Having never been away from home for longer than a week of summer camp here and there. The family encouraged you, I encouraged you. But on the night of our graduation party something happened. I shared my feelings for you, the very ones I’d kept locked away tight in fear of ruining our friendship. The next morning you were gone.

Fast forward a few years later and I was still on the ranch. Still helping our parents out with anything and everything that needed done. The ranch hosted a small county fair every summer and this one was bound to be the best one yet, though nobody would tell me why. We had live entertainment this year and that alone had everyone in town buzzing. It’s the day of the fair and everyone is getting ready, setting up their stands and getting the main stage prepped.

When it came time for the show to start I was sat near the front under the side of the awning, tapping my foot a bit with a strange sense of nervousness I couldn’t pin point exactly. But then I saw it…I saw you. Walking onto the stage with the same wide cheeky grin you always used to carry and my heart stopped.

Ideally I would like to start right where I left off with your character kicking things off with their performance. Throughout the story we will get some flashback scenes in about what happened the night of our graduation party and why your character left suddenly. We can discuss further details about where we go from here. Do you have another tour planned after your break? Are you home for good? Will the feelings I had for you still be there, and be reciprocated? We can plan this out to our hearts content! This will be a steamy romance story that may and can include smut. With that being said, this will not be the main focus of the story!! I want to really build our characters and their connections and let emotions lead us through until our happy ending!

F4M – Exes to Lovers (Slow Burn Reunion)

We were the couple that burned bright and fast — too intense, too passionate, and too stubborn to make it last. Everyone around us was rooting for us and we just couldn’t make it work. Our breakup was messy and toxic But we promised ourselves we were done for good. It was so bad we we had each other blocked on everything. But time has a way of softening edge and now, years later, life throws us back together in the most unexpected way. Both of us fighting it, still angry on the outside but sad and hurt internally.

Whether it’s a mutual friend’s gathering, a new job that forces us to work side-by-side, or pure coincidence, we’re suddenly in each other’s space again. At first, it’s awkward. Tense. All the old wounds still ache. But slowly, the walls start to crack, leading to longer more intense conversations. Familiar banter returns, little glances linger too long, and we both begin to wonder: Did we ever really stop loving each other?

I’m looking to build a character-driven, emotionally rich roleplay centered on slow-burn tension, reconnection, and rediscovery. I usually write 5–10 mobile lines depending on the scene, and I write in first person. NSFW is totally fine to add as well.

I am a 25+ male from the UK (GMT/UTC+1), and I have just over 9 years of experience in the world of roleplay. I'm currently on the search for a couple of roleplay partners that equally share a passion in roleplaying.

Currently my favourite genres are: Fantasy, Post-Apocalyptic (Zombie or Wasteland), Medieval, and a little Slice of Life. I have a few rough ideas in mind for each, but I usually like to combine and share ideas. I do this to make the plot as best suited to both our likings as possible.

Whether you're semi-lit to literate, everyone is welcome and please do not be shy! I typically like to write from the very least two to three paragraphs and upwards, however I am happy to work around my RP partner. I aim towards a long-term story that can fit in plenty of action, adventure, drama, romance and so much more. Perhaps we can include forbidden love or enemies to lovers for the added drama. I am not judgmental when it comes to character creation and ideas, so please go wild!

We all have days where motivation may be low, or it has simply been a rough day. We can take a break at any point or have a friendly OOC chat. I always prioritise bringing a more positive and friendly experience, and happy to create friendships along the way. I really appreciate good communication and feedback.

My work is currently consuming a lot of my weekday time, however I am free most evenings and weekends. So, I will hopefully respond at minimum once or twice a day when I am back from work.

Hi! I’m 27, female, and in the EST time zone. I’ve been writing and roleplaying for about ten years now, and I’m looking for partners who are 21+.

I write MxF pairings and prefer to play the female role. Plot-wise, I’m drawn to stories with movement—action, tension, twists, and consequences. Give me romance tangled up with drama, tragedy, angst, and danger, with characters who don’t walk away unchanged.

Plots: I enjoy enemies-to-lovers scenarios, and I’m open to similar themes. No sci-fi, medieval, or fantasy ideas, please. Unless you're willing to introduce me to the extensive creativity it requires and be patient.

Writing Style: I write a lot, so it will only make sense if you write a lot too. I would like to bring in different characters to the roleplay, so please only message if you're prepared to play multiple characters. However, your main character will always remain prominent (i.e., if you want it to).

Writing Expectations: I write in the third person and the past tense. While I don't consider myself to be a novella-type writer, I do enjoy writing and tend to write a lot when inspired. I require my partner to have the bare minimum of writing literacy: readable grammar, effort, and enough care put into replies that the story feels alive rather than half-assembled.

Communication: I use Discord. Let me know if you’ll be busy, and I will too. After a week of no response, I will automatically assume the roleplay is over and move on. I can commit to one response a day, but tend to do a lot more than that anyway.

Involvement: Contribute equally to advancing the plot. I’m open-minded and can adapt to various storylines. I will NOT keep pushing it forward. Discussing everything all the time makes it less thrilling, and I tend to be super flexible with most ideas. So if that's not your style, that's okay!

OOC: I’d like a friendly partner to discuss likes and dislikes, but of course not to the point that OOC is all we ever do. No pictures, videos, or audio, and please ensure your significant other is aware of your roleplaying if you’re in a relationship. Please.

I'm looking for a new roleplay partner!

I've not roleplayed in a while and I want to get back into it! I love long, drawn out roleplays. I want a story.

I have been roleplaying since I was young, but obviously nothing dirty.

I am very easy to get a long with. All I ask is that you show effort. I would consider myself highly detailed, highly literate. I don't have very many rules other than.. please use full sentences and correct grammar.. please. I'm begging. It gives me the ick when people abbreviate their words in text. Like.. lol, lmao, etc is fine. But abbreviating you to "U' Drives me actually bonkers.

I enjoy a good slice of life roleplay. I'm a hopeless romantic, after all. I love a good love story. I especially love slice of life stories with fantasy elements. I also love researching for a role. If the role needs me to do a little research. Ugh. I love it.

I am also not very into fandom roleplaying (I KNOW UNPOPULAR OPINION) but I could be up for one if it's something I'm already... semi knowledgeable of.. but what I've found is a lot of people want to roleplay anime themes, and I'm just not that into anime. So Obviously.. i wouldn't know what much about it.

I don't currently have any roles in mind, so we can come up with some together!

Hello! I’m Sair, I’ve been role playing for around 10 years. I have developed my writing skills a lot in my opinion, and I really enjoy creating new stories with others. I find myself often taking a creative lead with the stories, buuuuut I really wanna start to be the one in the backseat or have equal creative influence on the story.

I usually write about 5-10 sentences, but I can go off a little more for things like world building or detailed action scenes. Looking for someone with similar detail and proper grammar (for the most part).

Some universes I love roleplayinh in are Star Wars, Marvel, DC, Invincible, D&D, Witcher, and generalized zombie apocalypse/nuclear fallout apocalypse. Slice of life romance is also interesting too!

Some ideas I’ve had for roleplay scenarios

- in a D&D type fantasy world, Inspired by bloodborne, a Nun goes on a quest for bloodsoaked vengeance. A mission from god.

- A warrior with a great deal of raw talent seeks to become the apprentice to a samurai/knight/other sort of warrior (romance)

- A special forces scout trooper turns on the empire after being betrayed and surrenders to the rebellion. (Star Wars)

-A pixie decides to leave the Fae realm for the mortal realm in order to find adventure and comrades who she fits in with.

Also I’m definitely open to hearing others ideas as well! I work mornings to early afternoons so I’m happy to rp in the evenings or on breaks or weekends mostly. I like to get in a few replies a day normally to keep the story flowing.

the rain had only just begun when flora’s headlights caught the figure crossing the road. one second the street was empty, the next there was a sickening thud and the screech of her brakes as the car skidded to a stop. for several agonizing seconds she couldn’t move. her hands stayed locked around the steering wheel as panic settled in her chest.

“please… no… no no no…!” she flung open the door and ran into the rain, shoes splashing through puddles as she dropped beside the person lying on the pavement. “hey! c-can you hear me?” she called, her voice shaking. relief washed over her when y/c groaned and slowly pushed themselves upright.

“uff… thank god… don’t move too fast. are you hurt anywhere?” she asked, already reaching for her phone. “i should call an ambulance” unfortunately before that flora noticed something strange. y/c wasn’t looking at her. instead, their eyes drifted across the empty street, the trees, the dim streetlights– like they were seeing everything for the first time.

then she heard it. “where… are we?”

“you don’t know?” flora asked, unable to hide the fear in her voice. when y/c hesitated before giving a small, uncertain shake of their head, a lump stuck in her throat. “w-well… you hit your head” she said carefully. “maybe you’re just disoriented?”

“maybe…” she saw y/c rub their forehead before looking back at her with the same lost expression. “i’m sorry… do you know me?”

right there she almost told the truth, almost admitted she’d never met them before and what had just happened. then another thought crossed her mind before the words could escape. if this person didn’t remember anything, who would believe her version of the events? insurance, police and lawyer fees… she could already imagine her life falling apart.

with those things in mind she lied right away. “yes… of course” since she had no idea who this person was she blurted out the farthest thing from family. “so… i’m your girlfriend?” she forced herself to hold their gaze as guilt weighed her down. what evil deed’s retribution was this she had no idea, all she wanted was to go home and finally sleep in after long day at work.

{hello! i’ve been wanting to do a memory loss focused roleplay for a while, but i’m honestly not the best at worldbuilding, so i intentionally left a lot of things vague. y/c’s past, whether they’re just an ordinary person or not and where the story eventually leads are all open. i’m more than happy to brainstorm together or even let my partner take the lead on those aspects… if they have some ideas they’d like to play out that is ^^
