Hello Rolla,

I am looking for apartments in Rolla. Will be working in MS&T. Have a kind and wife. Suggest some good housing. Preferably, 1000$ or less. 15-20min walk from MS&T. Moving from Phoenix Arizona, so can't decide what's the definition of good apartment and price. A quick search in zillow shows properties owned by investment reality ...is that the only company that owns property ? One good option is Lodges at rolla. But rent is outrageous for a small town like Rolla.

Tomorrow (July 8th) is the last day you can register to vote in time for the August 4th elections. There's a lot of really important races on the ballot, especially several constitutional amendments. Even if you are undecided or not sure what's on the ballot, it's better to register now and decide whether to vote later than to miss the deadline and regret it.

You can register at the Secretary of State's website here. Students, remember that you can register to vote wherever you live so think of where you will be on Election Day. If you're living in Rolla over the summer, you are indeed a Rolla resident for the purposes of voter registration. You can always update your registration later on.

If you are already registered, take a moment to follow that link and double check your registration status. The voter rolls are regularly cleaned up and people get removed, and there's always a chance your name was accidentally removed.

Need a pet friendly apartment in rolla or surrounding areas for me and my boyfriend. We both work in rolla and have a small/medium dog who is super sweet and two very lazy cats. I’ve been told to avoid investment however I can’t seem to find anything through an independent renter and college students coming in is making it harder. Willing to rent a small piece of land (maybe 2000 sqft) to build a wooden ramp to ride MTB/BMX on. Also could put a inflatable landing. Utilities are not needed. Budget is no more than 100$ a month. Can be wooded (willing to cut down the trees) but really just need a strip of unrestricted land where we can dig a hole and put a ramp in. I’m 21 and been looking for jobs since January. I feel there is nothing in this area that could truly make me happy and pay me decent enough to not have to have another job. I’m physically capable of doing anything and I love learning new things if people are willing to teach. I prefer hands on work and not sitting around a desk, I have to be moving around and multitasking or I get bored and basically depressed and end up hating my job. I’ve been depressed for awhile and contemplated stuff over not being able to find a job because that makes me feel worthless as shit even though I’ve been actively trying for almost half a year now. This has really taken a toll on my mental health- to the point where a therapist is needed honestly. I’m willing to put in 110% effort if the job is willing to pay me livable wage and train me properly. One thing that landed me jobless jn the past years is if management sucks i call it out and want to help find solutions, and as everyone knows management doesn’t gaf about employees who’s want them to do better, they want to get rid of them if they don’t keep there mouth closed and work the job. I love polices and helping people and I like the correct way to do things. I hate slackers and I hate horrible management. If anyone can help me I’d really appreciate it, I’ve already been to the rolla and cuba job centers and spoke and applied with people and never heard anything back. My resume is good and I’m a good worker, I know that and I take pride in what I do. Anyway if you were willing to read this and help me out I seriously appreciate it more than you know- thank you!

Hello, I’m looking for a roommate for my 2-bedroom apartment. The Apartment is near the S&T campus by Schuman Park and close to downtown Rolla. The walk to campus is 2 minutes, I can see campus out the windows. I am a 21yo female sophomore studying electrical engineering and would prefer a female roommate. The living room and kitchen are furnished already. The rent would be $320 a month (water is included in the rent), and electricity and gas would be split. It is through Investment realty. Im only getting 250-300MiB/s download speed using Socket fiber when downloading from Steam. Doing a local file transfer from the same computer to another or to my NAS I get nearly pinned 110-113MB/s. Seems no other reason besides Socket throttling game downloads.

Anybody else have similar experience?

Hey guys

I just wanted to post about something I noticed when we went to resign our lease today. Especially if someone else is also resigning a lease for somewhere they've been a while and aren't expecting something to change, because missing it could cost them extra money.

I don't know if they're doing it with every lease, but they added an extra page to ours basically trying to corner us into their 'residential benefit program' and the only way to opt out is to contact them directly. It also basically implies if you sign it you're locked into paying the extra $35 a month for your entire lease.

Maybe the post is unneeded, but if I save even one person from being locked into spending extra money they didn't want to because they weren't expecting the change, I'm content.

Also sorry I really wasn't sure what flair to use.
