I think Nancy had a tiny crush on Robin, but after she got together with Vickie, she decided to forget her feelings. Now, both Nancy and Robin have broken up with their partners, and they could get together. Maybe after this rooftop convo, Robin and Nancy walked together home, and they started talking about their lives and feelings :D
