Rose R25 maximum tyre width

Hi, I have a Rose PRO 105 SL Disc from 2023 which has Rose Twentyfive wheels with currently Continental 28mm tyres. I'm trying to find out what the maximum tyrewidth of the wheel is but can't seem to find out.
I'm getting a new bike (no Rose) soon and want to keep the Rose as backup but modify it to use it for gravel rides so a bit wider tyres would be nice.
Thanx in advance.

Road tires for a previous-generation Rose Backroad AL – recommendations without buying a new wheelset?

Hi everyone,

I'm riding a Rose Backroad AL, specifically the previous generation of the current Backroad AL (the model before the latest redesign).

I'd like to make it more road-focused for fast rides, so I'm looking for recommendations for fast road tires that work well on the stock wheels.

My main goal is to improve speed and road performance, but I don't want to buy a new wheelset. I'd prefer to keep the original wheels if possible.

So I have a few questions:

  • Which road tires would you recommend?
  • What tire width would you go for (30 mm, 32 mm, 35 mm, etc.)?
  • Are there any tires that roll exceptionally fast while still working well with the stock rims?
  • Has anyone here done the same conversion on a previous-generation Backroad AL?

I'd love to hear what setups you're running and whether you think it's worth switching to road tires without changing the wheels.

Thanks in advance! 🚴

Powerbank for the Rose Backroad AL (2025)

I’ve bought a Rose Backroad AL GRX400 (2025), which also has a frame compartment. The K-Werk power bank is intended for use with it, but it only has a capacity of 5000 mAh, which is far too little. I won’t be fitting a dynamo any time soon, so the K-Werk power bank isn’t really worth it (especially as it’s so expensive). Have you found any other power banks that have a higher capacity and fit into the frame compartment?

Does anyone on here have some experience with the classified system? I bought a used backroad ff classified and it arrived this way. I am guessing the bearings are different for classified and the bearings are shot or have an issue, or this isn't mounted properly but I am not entirely sure.
