Smuggling tramp freighter - "Gypsy Queen"
Originally a Lil Muv cargo hauler, the Gypsy Queen was recently retrofitted by Lambent Ship Services at Neon. Captain Emory Sloan had "acquired" a ships worth of lightly used ASC Taiyo armor plating, which she brought to the Lambent Co-Op for installation. The Lambent crew replaced the Muv's side mounted Starfreight cargo pods with an underslung Sextant cargo module system, upgraded the engines to an Amun+Badtech 220CB land combo, and a modified walk-in Overseer 300D accessible from the captains quarters on the upper deck.
Lambent also added a pair of Scorch-P pulse laser turrents ("acquired" along with the hull plating), improved antenna array, and a pair of Spark 750 EMP suppressors for non-lethal defensive measures totally not to be used for piracy.
All in all a fun build with the ASC Taiyo mod, Badtech Industrial mod for those big landers, Vanilla Bridges with Doors for the walk in Overseer, Immersive Landing Bays, and of course, the Lambent Shipyard habs underneath it all. The Lil Muv was converted from a flying brick to a much more streamlined flying brick with some curves.
This will be Em's main ship for the rest of her adventures, although she does have the Razorleaf and several pirate and Ecliptic birds that she can use if needed.
I was tempted to paint the Queen in Vanguard colors for disguise ("Pirates? Buddy, we were attacked by the Vanguard!"), but I like the red and black too much.
