Pick both of these up today Mark IV lite w/ stormtrooper cerakote and Div 3 olvr .22 heater, swapped out the grips and added a charging handle ring and cheap red dot until I decided what dot I want on it.

SSH still chugging along. Only a couple upgrades.
Hi all, I'm having trouble removing the steel pins from a compensator. They won't tap out, I soaked them in G96 overnight to loosen them, but no luck. Anyone got any tips or tricks to solve this issue?
Stack with DG 15% gift cards to get this down to ~5.1cpr + tax/shipping. Anyone know if this runs well through a suppressed, FRT'd TX22?
Every time I try to fold the mainspring housing into the grip it pulls the pin out and thus wont fit into the grip and then the pin needs to be reinserted then the problem repeats itself. I’m cleaning this firearm for my grandpa it’s not my own and I’m not fully familiar with the parts or mechanisms but I’ve watched at least 4-5 videos ag this point and have been working at it for 4 and a half hours to get to this point at which I’m fully stuck and need any type of feedback someone can give me. Please try to keep in mind with your responses I’m fairly new to this firearm and firearms in general and may not know what a word means. Thank you so much.
New MKiV owner, is it best practice to remove the little washer behind the thread protector when direct threading the can? Thanks kindly.
I wanted to be able to train with Iron sights, so I got a qd mount to switch back and forth, but it looks really damned high when I got it mounted, Is this going to be usable? OCL Titanium for attention.
Had the opportunity to shoot some IDPA with one of the communities I grew up around, meeting one of my old mentors after around 15 years since I left home; rest in peace to the few who aren't around anymore but have bays at that range dedicated to their name.
Man in the video, shooting his second mag, is a retired Green Beret who still teaches today. We got some playtime in between stages and while it's not on video, when he got done with the first mag he leaned toward me and said, "yeah... just like the old days."
I finally scored a Great Eight!!!!
It's the MK II 22/45 version which makes it a little more special to me as I didn't have a MK II 22/45 in my collection.
This brings me closer to having every MK II barrel length.
I have the 4", 5.5, 6", 6.875, 8", and 10".
Sorry if you were the other person bidding on the gun.
New in the last year Mark 4 22/45. Tried multiple brands and loads of ammo and can't believe how dirty it gets, having to clean it every couple hundred rounds.
Any advice?
And i now have an Otter creek ti suppressor and wonder how many rounds are you getting before cleaning that?
I removed my SSH’s rail about two or three weeks ago and installed a Lobos mount and red dot. Function checked after installing both the mount and the dot. No issues.
I ordered the set screws from Ruger to fill the other two holes and they were delivered Saturday, so last night I installed them. The front screw sat flush with top of the upper, the rear screw I thought was flush, but it looks like I missed the mark and needed to back it out maybe a turn or two. That screw stripped so easily that I can’t even get it to back out at all.
Now I can’t pull the damn bolt back. I don’t want to force it in case that rear screw is interfering somehow, but would that much of a difference of depth affect it?
I tried inserting an empty magazine and making sure it was seated (as a Google search recommended) but no dice. I can’t field strip it because I can’t open the bolt.
Maybe I carbon welded it? I haven’t cleaned it in about 200 rounds of Mini Mags with an OCL Ti on it. Would letting it sit for over two weeks really lock the bolt up that much? The magwell is pretty dirty.
I’m very familiar with the platform and internals, but not necessarily troubleshooting issues like this.
Any advice would be appreciated before I reach out to Ruger, which they’ll probably have me send it in and I hate firearm companies turnaround times. I might end up sending it in anyway because their screws fing suck.
Thanks, all.
I have wanted one for years and I finally hit the bullet. I want to turn this into the ultimate backyard plinker. My pup is just wondering why I am always taking pictures of new guns.
Looking to trick out my recently purchased ruger mark 4. Bought it for $300 during father's day, was able to get 20% off due to vet discount and father's day sale. I think I made out for pretty good with this version.
What upgrades should I do first? Im considering getting a sight and changing out the trigger as I hear the trigger could be better. Im also interested in a suppressor or silencer but not sure which one would be best. Are these things also pretty easy to install and change yourself, or do you guys recommend taking them in to a local shop to get changed right?
I picked up one of Wojtek's prototype 3" Assassin Mark IVs with a rail and love it. I'll be taking it to the range tomorrow and run it through its paces. I tried to use an EPL but the suppressor wouldn't sit properly so I had to use a PID-K.
This is the exclusive silencer shop SSH Suppressor ready with a dead air mask suppressor.
Picked up this mk4 not too long ago and haven’t fully decided what I wanna do with it… (currently have a sico sparrow pending approval) any recommendations?
I plan on chopping my barrel close to the red line in picture 2 (it’s not the full 1 inch diameter all the way down) and was gonna leave a small space to attach this light mount against the shoulder.
My question for anyone that already has this one, any chance you could measure the width of it for me so I don’t have too much barrel taken off?
