
Finished 5K Training Early, Now What?
Hello, I just finished week 8 run 2 and had my fastest overall pace ever 6min 50 sec per km over 8 km. I run every other day. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I could run that far. Even back in high school, I was always a sprinter never long distance.
I was able to complete this week’s exercise and all of the free form runs I was jogging. Don’t get me wrong. I absolutely suffered doing this, but that’s part of the process.
Now I have about two weeks before the first 5K I’m signed up to run. Should I go ahead and run the 5K in week eight, go back and repeat a couple of weeks, or finish the couch to 5K program and move on deeper into the app?
