SOE(help!!!)

I currently attend Rutgers-Newark and I’m in the pre-engineering program. I applied for a school-to-school transfer into SOE for Fall 2026 and was accepted contingent upon successfully completing this semester and remaining in good academic standing.
Unfortunately, I failed Calc 2 and Physics 1 this semester due to poor focus/time management, and I know those are important engineering prerequisites. I’m worried my admission offer could get rescinded once final grades are reviewed.
Has anyone been in a similar situation or know how strict SOE usually is about this? I want to retake the classes over the summer if possible, but I’m not sure what the best next step is. Any advice would be appreciated.

Just got accepted! :D

Hii, I js got accepted into Rutgers Newark for a bs in math. I’m still awaiting responses from other unis I’ve applied to but people around me have been telling me to pay the admission fees for Rutgers since there’s a possibility I can get a scholarship. However I’ve lowk heard controversial opinions abt the Newark campus online :<

Im from mumbai, a bit introverted so im afraid i wont make many friends here </3 (also heard people in Newark are harder to get along with) and ill be living without any family for the first time. My cousin lives in New York but he’ll be busy w work

Bottom line is should I pay the fee and start the admission process? Is it worth coming there^^

ALSOOO I PLAY TENNIS professionally, is there like a proper tennis team in newark? How does it work there

Walking Graduation

Hey All

I'm a senior right now who is planning to graduate in the summer, but now I am freaking out because it looks like I might not be able to walk???

I am an Accounting Major and Economics Minor, but I am dropping my Economics Minor because I will not be able to complete the elective requirement in the summer. I am taking two classes in the summer to finish my requirements for Graduation

I have spoken to my advisor before and did my graduation application and was told I should be able to walk

Now when I check the grad application it says my application is still pending? Has anyone faced this issue before because now I am freaking out because I don't know if I will be able to walk or not on Thursday

I am planning to go to MYRUN tomorrow morning but if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated, I literally bought my gown and everything because I was under the impression that I would be walking

Graduation

Hi guys, I’m supposed to be walking for graduation this Thursday. I realized today I still have about 1K left unpaid of my term bill. I know we’re supposed to pick up name cards Monday for graduation but will this affect me not being able to walk? Can I pay Monday and still be able to walk if this affects my eligibility to walk?

J prefix??

So I finished my first class for my major this semester and was worried that I would fail it. Theres no grade for the class, but the J prefix is there. Apparently it means that I earned the credits for the class but does it mean that I passed the class?
