My 2014 GT the day I bought it in April 2013

To this day one of the cars I’ve loved the most. I only had it 18 months before I traded it for a new 2015 S550 GT. I regret it and wish I just kept it. I bought this brand new for $27,000 if I recall correctly. If only we could still get brand new Mustang GT’s for $27,000!

Just bought 07 gt a few days ago. Is this what a healthy engine sounds like?

I want to make sure the cam phasers or anything else aren’t failing, I don’t have a good ear for this stuff though. Thanks if you can help.

finally did it

2014 v6 premium w/ pony package 🩷
when i was 5 yrs old i saw an 07 shelby in the showroom of a dealer and fell in love. 20 yrs later i've finally got my mustang!! she's no shelby but perfect for me rn - i've never driven smaller vehicles (learned to drive in a f250 crew cab long bed and usually daily a 16 explorer but she's down with a blown turbo 💔) so i went with the 3.7L and automatic so i could ease my way into being so low to the ground lol
she's 100% stock but planning on adding a cold air intake, exhaust and probably upgrading the suspension. CAI and exhaust will definitely be first so would love to hear suggestions!
shoutout to my dad for passing on his love of cars, teaching me so much and letting me drag him across 5 different states in pursuit of The One.

Junkyard! Three finds: V-6 hardtop; GT hardtop, and convertible.

…. There was a bright yellow one there as well with quarter window scoops (but real cheap ones).

Connector is different than standard 2014??

Every taillight that "supposedly" fits my 2014 s197 (premium) doesn't fit because of the connector. I don't want to cut the wires, but i also can't find any adapter, plus im being told an adapter wouldn't even work. What do i do :( (in picture: top is whats on my car, bottom is the taillights i bought)

SVE DHP1s On Our White 2007 GT

Figured you all would appreciate this car. This is one of our (LMR) employees' old cars which he then sold to the company. We threw some SVE DHP1 wheels on it and I wanted to drop a photo in here for you guys.

I really like this car

Took my dads 07 GT to get tires put on for him about 45min one way and coming from a 03 GT new edge owner, this car got me thinking about things you know? lol. Just the interior quality improvement makes me want one and the mods he has made me really change my mind about the bodystyle (always preferred new edges now I’m 50/50).

Our cars are very similar suspension and handling wise, everything you can do done to both. His is noticeable quicker with same mods. Kinda got me wanting to make poor financial decisions and own 2 mustangs😂

Looking for my old car

Hello everyone,

Im on the hunt for my old car. I will list as many details about it as I can to help track it down. It was a 2006 Mustang convertible. Torch red exterior, black convertible top, grey leather interior. It had a satin black rear spoiler that matched the satin black 7 spoke wheels. It could also have had the muscle car 5 spokes and a gloss black spoiler as well. Last registered in Oostburg Wisconsin. I have some pictures i will attach to this post as to what it looked like when i sold it in 2024.

Some other notable points of the car were parts that were damaged. There was a cut on the lower right hand corner of the trunk, there were some dents on the rear driver side quarter panel near the back, the front had some touch up paint applied to the bumper near the passanger side. The driver seat also had a lot of wear damage.

If you know anything about its whereabouts/who owns it, i would love to be put in contact with them via DM to talk about buying it back. I have the VIN number but do not want to post it here. I will verify with anyone who DMs me with information.

what is this noise

there's a squeaking coming from my front passenger that squeaks when i turn the wheel and go over bumps. i just changed my oem control arms to the bmr adjustable ones maybe a month ago. i think it's either the shocks going bad or the whole control arms but i wanted y'all's opinion since im not the best mechanic.

Any way to make the hurst shifter look better?

I own a 2010 gt and the previous owner installed a hurst short throw shifter, it shifts great, but i dont like the look of it. I know its a muscle car thing but the thin look of the stick doesnt look good to me, and i think the subaru style shifter looks a lot better, i also dont like the big gap between the boot and the knob. Are there any reccomendations for other sticks or am i out of luck, i havent been able to find any good ones. The first picture is what i have and the second picture is the look i want. I understand it might not be possible because of the layout but im just wondering whats out there.

Looking for tuner with haltech experience

My current build is a 2009 mustang gt with a built motor and turbo cams planning on twins for around 900-1000wheel eventually. I am close to being finished with my built motor and I am now trying to get setup with a standalone ecu (haltech elite 2500 is my current choice unless I am convinced otherwise). Does anyone know any good tuners for haltech near DFW preferably? I’m in Longview Texas specifically for a distance reference. I would definitely prefer someone close to me rather than full remote due to this being my first standalone car not knowing what to expect.

OK so i got a dumb question about clutches?

So i replaced my clutch when i bought the car 2-3yrs ago because it was going bad. Since it being replaced it's been fine. However every now and then, i get what sounds like a flutter like a turbo, when shifting or in gear and just braking with the engine. The car has no turbo I've looked. Is that normal or is that signs of a bad clutch?
