Ummm?
I installed the June security update last month. Why did it appear again? Is this normal, or is this a new one?

Buy carbon fibre case from golden shield. What a lovely case. Ultra slim and protective
I Totally Agree With This!
I don't know if this is thr right subreddit to post this. But I'm conflicted on what to do.
I guess I jinxed myself by reading all those S22Ultra reddit posts about it starting to fail. Now thr same thing is happening to my S22Ultra that affected my Note20Ultra. This jist happened thr other day and not sure if should replace for a S24Ultra or get it fixed.
I can either get thr screen(battery and back cover) replaced all OEM, like I did woth my Note20Ultra for $350 or get a S24Ultra for $650 refurbished "Excellent" condition. I'm jist paranoid of something happening to thr S24Ultra and not have insurance for it. Has anyone bought from bestbuy marketplace and had good results??
I bought my Samsung S24 Ultra about a year ago. When it was new, the camera quality was absolutely amazing. But over the past few months, I feel like the camera quality has gotten noticeably worse. If I compare it to the photos and videos I took when I first bought it, it just doesn't seem as sharp or as consistent anymore.
I've also noticed that when I record videos in 4K, the camera preview sometimes feels laggy or stutters, which I don't remember happening before.
Has anyone else experienced this? Is it just software updates, or could something else be causing it?
Do you think doing a factory reset is worth trying, or is that unlikely to make any difference? I'd love to hear your experiences before I reset my phone.
I am planning to buy s25 ultra.
Right now I am getting it at 84k or 81k effectively considering cashback.
Should i go for it or wait for bbd sale in September.
Last year s24 ultra dropped to 72k in September bbd sale, can i expect similar drop this year?
EDIT: Currency is in INR, looking to buy in india
Iam trying to buy this from the past 6 months, but it seems the newer ones are not available on any ecom (available on amazon at 1.2 lks, doesnt make sense when 25 ultra is 85k), nor it is avaliable at offline stores. Missed this in last years BBD at 69k. If anyone can guide how to buy this now, pls let me know 🙏 .
S pen click end broke, but the pen works just fine, what can I do???
So I got this refurbished s24u and I want to know how i can tell what's been replaced on it. What I'm looking for is mainly the screen.
Hey guys, I am from kerala, india. My phone fell from my pockets while i was riding my scooter and my display is now damaged. The service center is asking for a really huge amount for replacing the display. Do you guys have an idea where i can get the original diaplay at lower rate? Like phones damaged due to other problem who are willing to sell their display? Any help or insight would be appreciated
Phone came with seal intact and I didn't open it before checking the IMEI. Seller says it's an international/european version. Obviously gonna send it back. Anyone got a similar story?
Considering switching from a Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro to an Galaxy S24 Ultra, but I've had concerns with a few issues which I can't seem to find definitive descriptions or acknowledgments of:
• Battery Life: Supposedly the OneUI 8.5 update has caused detrimental irreversible damage on the battery life and health of the phone? Battery life is a big factor in my decision so I'm hoping I can get a definitive clarification on this.
• Anti-reflective coating: I've heard that it wears off after a year or so, which some attribute to the use of alcohol wipes. I will certainly use a screen protector, and so I wonder if this is a genuine issue and whether using a screen protector will circumvent it.
• Heating Issues: I live in a hot climate (tbf what climate isn't hot nowadays) and I've seen reports of melting or battery expansion regarding use in such conditions.
I was hoping to get some more insight onto these faults before deciding to purchase, so any information is welcome.
Hey Reddit family,
I want to warn everybody to pay attention to S24 Ultra during summer hot days as my S24 Ultra almost catch in fire last week when was stored in bag during my paddleboarding. Very dangerous as battery gets swollen, made noise and phone get so hot that almost catch in fire and burned my hand, therefore I had to drown whole phone to the lake!
As I'm very experienced with more then 15 years experience from repairing mobile phones (certified by Samsung as well) and other electronics therefore I was able to complete disassembly whole device, dry it and clean it and after that replace the battery so S24 Ultra working again ufff as it's 1TB highest model. Old battery is available for collecting for you Samsung guys who are reading this post as you usually do ;-) So let me know if you need it...
So my older power adapter stopped working after 3 years of use and I decided to get a new one. Even though it's the same 25W adapter as I had before, this new one shows "Super fast charging 2.0" when plugged into my S24 Ultra instead of just "Super fast charging". I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen as Google says SFC 2.0 is for chargers with higher power ratings e.g. 45W. Could this be a counterfeit or something? I'm not sure if this is good for the phone's battery as it's 25W and showing SFC 2.0 when it's not supposed to.
It seems to charge normally and fast though.
Hi everyone,
I need some advice regarding my S24 Ultra. I bought it used about 3 months ago, but it still has 1 year of warranty left.
Lately, the battery life has been absolutely terrible. Today, the phone was completely dead, so I plugged it in to charge. After just 5 minutes, it showed 43%. I found that really weird, but I unplugged it and used it for a few minutes. Suddenly, the phone completely shut down due to a "low battery", even though it still showed around 43%.
The most concerning part: I just noticed that the back glass panel is starting to lift up slightly.
Is this definitely a swollen battery causing these massive percentage drops? Should I stop charging it and take it directly to a Samsung service center to claim the warranty?
Thanks in advance for any help!
Why does the photo looks like garbage after processing?
Also I was using the 3× telephoto and 24mp with the expert raw app.
Turn on Auto Blocker automatically after 30 mins. It's just perfect.
Hi guys. I have been using the now bar on my S24 for the World Cup recently. But for some reasons, it doesnt update the match but only the time when I start following the match.
Anyone has a solution for the now bar to update the match automatically?
Thanks in advance.
I don't have a schedule charging time, or schedule. I don't care about the charging speed either. I really don't care about my battery life either.
Morning - the phone charges for maybe a 5mi, 15 min drive to work, or not, if I'm riding my e-scooter. The android auto connection is automatic and wireless, but I just plug-in the cable, out of habit from my old car. I think the charging speed is like 20W.
At work - I may plug-in or simply put it on a wireless pad, or simply not charge and keep in my pocket, depending on whether I had to use the phone at my desk. If I had to, it doesn't go back in my pocket and stays either on my desk - could be charging or not.
Driving back home - same as driving to work.
At home, I plug in, maybe 5-10 mins, maybe twice or thrice. Don't have a wireless pad at home.
My battery lasts me all day long, barely ever get a notification of below 15% warning, and my battery has protection going on to not charge beyond 80%, and once every few months, I turn it off, and charge to 100%, and leave it in charging for like 2-3 hours after 100% notification is received.
Note: All my chargers and cables are Anker C to C cables, and the Anker Nano 20W chargers. I don't have any fast chargers. In fact, the cable received with the box, still sits unused inside the box lol.
On trips etc. I have a small 40,000mAh power bank, max speed there is 22.5W charging I got from amazon, and verified it actually has that much capacity. Usually gives me like 10-11 charges up to 80% (I just plug in whenever I remember, no fixed schedule, the power bank is small). And mostly don't have to charge the power bank.
Power Saving, Adaptive Power saving, Battery Protection - all are on. Even with these being on, I have never really had any issues with processing power or anything or even when gaming on the phone ( a few rpg games, farming/driving simulators) with highest settings.
Added pictures of power bank since I usually get the questions about it.
