Have things improved?

Hello there, first post here, and I know it's the kind of "duh stupid asking if the game's good on the game's subreddit!", but hey, look, no one's perfect.

I've been looking forward for SAND for a long time now, been watching streams and videos for a while (basically since early July) and the game seems exactly like what I'm looking forward for, both in design, in gameplay...

However, when I wanted to take a closer look, I've seen many issues regarding unfair/unbalanced matchmaking (especially solo players being put against squads), cheating and lots of extraction-camping. It really put me off alongside a few friends I've been discussing the game to.

So have there been meaningful improvements on those issues that the game is recommendable? Or is the game dead?

I just got teamed on by cheaters, again

I would argue that the game itself is good, bugs and everything. At least with the bugs you’re on the same playing field as everyone else.

EDIT: This specific case was a bit different from what I initially experienced. My captains was in fact broken and got taken over outside of my field of view. Can’t be seen on the video either, but the sound can be heard.

Initial post:
I was just on EU solo storm dive and players tactical_pingu and Bruegel teamed on me. If that was not enough, they somehow took over my trampler without entering or breaking the captains.

Getting blown to bits by a better player is how you learn to be better at the game. I really don’t mind that. But this kind of behaviour will initially kill the game.

During the game, in the middle of the battle there is no time to report. How am I supposed to report cheaters and teamers?

I made a video! Thinking of making some sand content. This one is talking about trampler positioning.

This game is super fun and im going to possibly make more videos in hopes of brining more people back to the game
