I saw some people saying orientation but my orientation is august 4th… can i do it sooner?? if so how can i do it. I am part of the disability program so maybe i can get help through that?
Hey everyone! I am looking for a female to take over my lease at the 5025 apartments down the street from state for next lease term! I am currently unable to follow through with my lease for next year so I am in urgent need of finding someone to cover it! It needs to be a female since the room is signed for an all girls unit! The lease is for a private room that has its own bathroom on the sunny side of the second floor! If you or anyone knows of anyone looking for a place to live next year please let me know! Need to speak with an advisor but earliest appt I could make is until next week, which is too late. I have a registration hold from having submitted my graduation application for this term, but I unfortunately failed a class. I want to register for this class again that starts summer, very soon, is it even possible now?
It is recommended, although not required, that I speak to an advisor before submitting a graduation transfer form, so I’m not sure what to do. Should I just do it to try and get the hold dropped asap?
I am a senior in high school and I got accepted into SDSU but I’m taking finals right now and I am almost certain that I am going to fail my Honors pre calc class with a D. I don’t need this class as after this year ends I’ll have taken 4 classes that meet math requirements (not including this class). I know that if you have lower than a C- in your final transcript then sdsu is able to review your admission and decide if you can still attend. What are the chances that i won’t be able to attend SDSU? Is there anything else I can do to help my chances?

I took japanese in high school for two years but moved schools for my senior year so i couldnt complete three years. i would like to take the proficiency test to be able to possibly only need to take Japan211.
Is anyone else having problem ordering their transcripts? It kept saying my card got declined but the transaction went through. But my order didn’t go through.
So I got accepted a few months ago to sdsu.
They accepted me because with knowledge that I will be taking 2 classes in the spring that I am no longer taking. This made me fall down to 57 units. I was able to find a late start class on CVC at Laney college. I will be at 60 units and eligible for transfer.
But now I am missing those two classes that I put down as planned. The classes are history and some other one.
I’m scared that they will no longer accept me because the classes I planned no longer will be on my official transcript.
I’m an integrated design major and hoping I will still be accepted even without those two classes.
Does anyone know or have some input to give on this. I’m honestly support annoyed and stressed out about it.
Just wanted to come on here as a SDSU staff member to rant about the bullshit parking permits we have to pay for as staff! You would think they would at least discount the parking pass, but of course not cause SDSU loves to take everyones money in any way that they can. And every year/semester they raise the prices, this summer is $130!! They say we pay that amount in order to maintain the parking structures and parking lots, but P12 for examples is full of trash 24/7 all over the floor and smells like piss in the elevator. How is this maintaining our parking structure at all?? I also doubt any of the parking structures will be clean this week after graduation. 🤦

Hey y’all! I wanted to make this post to ask, since I haven’t really found a specific “CogSci” major on SDSU’s website, if there are any other majors I should consider instead when applying here? I really want to pursue CogSci, but I couldn’t find anything on it so I wanted to see if anyone knew if I am just missing something or if y’all might suggest a similar program :)?
Some background, I am also planning on applying as a CCC transfer to UCB for CogSci but I know that’s such a long shot, and I really loved SDSU when i visited a while back—at the same time, I know the Psych program here at SDSU is incredibly popular and impacted so I would be super grateful for any advice or suggestions from anyone who might’ve been in a similar position as me! I'm an Italian student coming to SDSU for Fall 2026 (mid august - Christmas).
I'm still deciding whether to look for roommates and a regular apartment or to go with off-campus student housing.
I'm currently considering 5025 (since it's significantly cheaper) and 6nineteen, among a few others. Does anyone have any honest reviews or experiences to share about these places?

I’m just about to finish my first semester at Palomar College and I want to transfer to San Diego State after two years here. I am an accounting major and I know how hard it is to get into San Diego State as an Accounting major, especially if I’m not in the San Diego community college area. I want to make sure I do everything I can to get accepted. Am I more likely to be accepted with an associates degree versus just having CalGETC requirements?
during arts and letters some ppl blew air horns for like 15seconds. girl in front of me seemed appalled, im a bit of stickler for decorum so it didn't rlly sit right with me either. idk what do you think, it for sure messed with the next 2 students names audibility which would be bad if their parents were trying to record their kid walk across the stage.

However my circumstances have changed, I already emailed admissions requesting to reinstate my admission but how realistic is it? I still have access to all my information on my. SDSU
Okay so... I still can't believe this but my SDSU appeal got approved and I'm literally shaking.
I got rejected at first and I was so upset, but everyone kept telling me "appeals never work" and blah blah. I still sent one in because why not try. I explained the stuff that changed since ! applied, cleared up a few things, and just tried to be real about why SDSU was where I wanted to be.
And today... I GOT IN.
Like... WHAT. I'm going to SDSU.
If you're thinking about appealing, seriously just do it. Even if it feels like a long shot. You never know what could happen.
