Gym + yoga advice?

I’ve heard the arc is crazy busy and there’s long wait times for machines/weights… what’s the best time to go? Is it true that like 6 am is the best…..?
Also, who has experience with yoga classes or clubs?

How to change majors?

Ok, I applied as a transfer student for International Business and was denied admission despite having a 4.0 GPA. My counselor said my best bet was to appeal and say that I would be happy to enter any the school under any business related major, and after taking one semester at SDSU I could apply to change my major.

Long story short, they accepted the appeal and granted me admission as a Hospitality Hotel Management major. Now the question is, is it really that easy to change majors after one semester? If so, would it even be worth going into International Business instead of Business Administration (since I already have a AS in BusAdmin)? I hear mixed reviews about the International Business program - also would take longer to graduate which is not exactly a good thing… Thank you!!! ☺️

What disability accommodations can I ask for and does the school actually provide?

SDSU is so vague with what accommodations they actually offer/can provide and I want to go into my meeting with disability services with some idea of what to ask for. For reference I'm looking for accommodations for like AuDHD and extreme sound sensitivity. (I don't need advice I'm just curious what's in other people's accommodations and what they asked for.) I'm also a second year living in the dorms. I heard something about moving in early but wasn't sure if that was just a rumor. Also wasn't sure if it was similar to a 504 in highschool and if I could just ask for whatever.. If anyone has any insight I'd really appreciate it!

Can I take a trip while at SDSU?

Do you think a freshman business finance major would be able to take a week trip around Thanksgiving? How are the professors about missing class? My family is going out of the country on vacation and I’m debating if I should go or not.

Roommate Withdrew Application

My roommate withdrew their application last night and I know housing assignments come out next week. I’m currently have another roommate so we were supposed to have a triple. Would the most likely scenario be that we are left with a double or assigned a random roommate for a triple, or get assigned to a quad 😬 I am an incoming freshmen

Bathrooms Locked During Summer Class

I am disabled so it's really hard for me to walk. I have a summer class once a week (3 hour lecture), and all the bathrooms have been locked. I can't walk the 15 minutes to the library every time, up a steep set of stairs.

I called the campus police the first day, they came and unlocked it, after hanging up on me the first time. The next class session they are locked again.

I have been peeing in the parking garage since then. I'm not sure what everyone else has been doing, but kind of weird. I assume most people have to use the bathroom every couple of hours. Especially the ones pounding energy drinks in class.

When I called the disability service they said they couldn't help me and to take it up with the professor. But I am way too socially awkward and autistic for all that. Sorry about the stale puddle of piss in the parking garage though.

How good is this school really overall?

My first accounting professor from CC loved his time here back in the 1970's and highly recommended this school.

I have to say when I visited, it seems good but about the same as a place like CSUN. I was an accounting major and the curriculums look almost exactly the same. This school seems polarizing and for every person that says this place is awesome there is another that seems to think this place sucks and is full of immature people, like my current manager who went here for criminal justice.

Some people have also displayed rude and immature behavior. But again, some people say really good things about this place.

Can I finish in 3 years

If I were to finish all my GE and major prep classes by the end of Spring 2027 would I be able to get my degree in 3 years instead of 4. If so, all those CC and AP classes were actually worth it. It would be 5 classes plus a commuter class Fall semester and five classes Spring semester.

Dropping/Swapping Classes Before Orientation

Hello, incoming freshman here. I believe I accidentally selected the pre-enroll in classes option on my student success pathways form when I actually prefer to choose my own classes. I'm now enrolled in 6 classes. Whenever I try to drop them, it says I'm not in an active session. However it says my enrollment appointment begins on July 31. Do I need to wait until July 31 to drop these classes or will I be able to drop them on my orientation date (July 17)?

Should I transfer from Palomar to San Diego community college district to have higher chance of getting into SDSU

I have been going to Palomar for 4 years already, and I am a psych major and want to transfer to sdsu, but I am worried I won’t get in with Psycholoy as it is impacted and San Diego community college district students have priority to get in. I am taking classes this fall and spring at Palomar. should I just take classes at SDCCD and transfer there from Palomar. Or will I still have a good chance to get in even at Palomar since I live in San Diego

Signing me up for courses even though I didn’t say so in the student success form as freshman

Hello, so in the student success form for sdsu I said I wanted to build my own schedule at orientation and not for them to make it, since I had some credits transferred such as rws 100, rws 200, stat 119, and Econ 101, I wanted to build my own schedule and said so on the form but they chose it for me and gave me some rough classes 💀. Can I drop most of these classes at orientation or not? And why did they sign me up even though I said no and I wanted to build my own schedule?
