After finally paying some attention to this revolutionary mode (for fighting games at least) that they made, I wish Capcom won't just go halfway with this and go all the way. In my opinion these are things they should improve, in order of importance:

1. The glaring design flaw of Avatar fighters only having one move for each motion input. e.g. we can't have quarter circle forward + punch and quarter circle forward + kick for the same Avatar character. This is stupid and pointless, and makes our Avatar less enjoyable than the regular cast. Definitely needs fixing right away.

2. Release the locked Avatar gear and colors that for whatever godforsaken reason you are still keeping out of the players, yet we can plainly see World Tour NPCs wearing them, some since release! Wrestling gear, footpads, black color Ryu/Ken gi, so much more! I get that you're stingy and want to drip feed content to us, but even in this there should be limits, man. It just feels spiteful at this point.

3. There should be customizability in the winning poses and taunts as well - e.g. choosing a Ryu style should not lock you into using Ryu's winning poses and taunts. This would give your Avatar characters so much more personality.

4. Imagine a custom Avatar Arcade ladder mode, where you can customize your opponents! You can choose whether you fight the regular cast, or your own Avatar characters that you have saved. You can choose the stage and music for each opponent, as well. Then have your custom Avatar Arcade ladder be shareable online for others to fight! That would be so cool.
