My family owns Baskin Robbins in Reseda

Happy Mothers Day everyone!

A bit of history on the Baskin Robbins off Saticoy/Reseda right next to the Dennys. It’s been around since 1980. My family took over back in the early 2000’s.

A common misconception people have about franchises is it’s all corporate owned. My parents have been franchisees for over 20 years and are small business owners. They have came to this country and worked every single day. Anyone who visits the store probably has seen my parents as they haven’t missed a single day of work in over 20 years.

If you are looking for an ice cream cake to celebrate Mothers Day with your family, please keep us in mind!

The location:
7628 Reseda Blvd Reseda CA 91335
Just give us a call if your looking for any custom cake.

Happy Mothers Day to you and your families!

Jasmine Thai 5% fee for online orders

I didn't notice the fee until after I placed the order. It was lumped in with the tax. My bad, it does say taxes and fees that I believe they purposely tried to hide. The email receipt has the online order fee listed separately. I really like their food but this additional 5% charge is ridiculous for a pickup order. And of course I was asked to sign the credit card receipt after I already paid online.

What do you guys think Salsa & Beer puts in their food to make it taste so good? (lard/msg?)

I've been to MANY different Mexican restaurants in my life and the flavors never really popped on anything as much as they do at Salsa & Beer. Everything else just kind of has that typical "sonoran" style flavor where the toasted corn flour/corn frying oil flavor in the tortillas is the main thing that hits you first. And then the other ingredients come second. Where at Salsa & Beer, every ingredient has the umami aspect. I'm white so I don't know the proper spanish word to describe what I'm trying to say about the other classic "sonoran style" places so correct me if I'm wrong.

Do Hispanics look at Salsa & Beer as non-traditional Americanized Mexican food? Or do they consider it authentic?

And do you guys think Salsa & Beer adds MSG/lard to everything to achieve that?
