Hi guys first post,
I purchased this lighter and it worked on arrival. I went to replace the flint by opening the flint slider with the side lever you pull down. This pushed the lid further than where it normally stops and i am now unable to close the lid. It appears to me at least that the part on the right (looks to me like a zippo hinge style thing im no expert) is what is causing the lid to be stuck. I can see (I think) that this part should go into a hole or recess behind the gas wheel.
Any help would be much appreciated.

1872 Gold Monogram- I only tested this for functionality upon receiving. Has light scratching on the housing from storage. Comes as lighter itself (recently moved and can't find OG packaging). Currently at $1550 on Dupont's site. Price- $750

I've built up a pretty decent collection of S.T. Dupont lighters over the years, but I have far fewer original boxes than lighters. It really bothers me, so I'm looking to buy some original boxes separately.
The problem is that I've seen prices all over the place, so I'm not sure what a fair price actually is for an original S.T. Dupont box.
For those of you who have bought or sold them before, what would you consider a reasonable price?

Hello everyone! I am hereby selling this beautiful Dupont Ligne D Limited Edition with gemstones in a stunning pastel mint green lacquer finish. One of the highlights of this piece is the four gemstones set into the cylinder, all of which are original and fully intact.
The lighter is in fully working condition. The lacquer has only light micro scratches consistent with careful use. The only notable flaw is scratching on the gas cap, as shown in the pictures.
The lighter does not have a box.
