ISO Room Urgent!

Good Morning everyone, posting this for my friend but she was recently given two weeks to leave her current living situation. Her current roommates are kicking her out due to racism and she has nowhere else to stay. Her budget is $700-800, she prefers roommates who are lgbtq friendly, bipoc, and 420 friendly (the last one is not needed too much, but would be awesome). She is 26 and works two jobs. Preferably she would like to stay around the arden area because that is where her jobs are, but she wouldn't mind moving into somewhere nearby. if anyone has a room available please lmk and ill send her over to yall.

$750/month + utils: Room in a 2bed/1bath

Hello, I have a room in a house in Oak Park about a mile south of the UCD Medical Center that I'm looking to rent out.

You'll get your own room, we'll share the kitchen, dining area, and bathroom. I'm storing some stuff in the living room but I don't really use it so you pretty much get that as well.

Parking available on the street or driveway (there's a garage but I think the entry is a little too small for a car).

Small pet friendly.

No smoking.

Rent is $750 + PGE, SMUD, and internet. Available now. The lease times are flexible.

About me: I'm a 30yo guy. I'm pretty easygoing, I like to keep the common areas clean, and I'm kind of a loser so I spend most of my time in my room. Looking for someone similar so I figured I'd try reddit first :^)

Room available in Tahoe Park $800

Hi, I have a room available in Tahoe Park for $800. Available on 5/23/26. It is 3 bed 2 bath. You’d be sharing a bathroom with 1 person. There are 3 cats, so no additional pets, sorry. There are additional monthly fees for SMUD and WiFi.

The house is very close to the UCD med center. There is a spacious backyard. One roommate is a full time student, the other is employed full time. Both roommates identify as non binary lesbians. We are looking for a fellow queer roommate. You would need to join the lease for 12 months. Reach out for more info or photos!

Homeless 18 year old please help

I’m writing this on behalf of my sister she’s been in and out of my mom‘s house since 16. She’s now 18 and is no longer welcome there. She had a “friend” say she could stay with her and she would help her out and stuff, but that turned into them prostituting together, and then her being pimped out and beat on by that same “friend” she finally called me and let me know what was going on so I was able to get her a Lyft from their motel and now she’s staying at a friend’s house for the night, but it’s only for the night. She has nowhere to go in the morning and I don’t have a place for her to stay. I’ve contacted 211 and she’s on waiting list but as of tomorrow morning, she will be back on the streets can anybody recommend any other alternatives or immediate housing I can get her for right now? Please anything helps. Thank you 🙏

high risk pregnancy looking for immediate housing

Hey everyone , I am typically not one to go online sharing my issues . Let alone ask for help , but due to my situation. I feel as if I have no choice. I am currently 35 weeks and two days pregnant , I have been having a high risk pregnancy since my placenta is weak. And not giving proper nutrients to my baby. I have been homeless , and sleeping inside my vehicle . With no air conditioning. I have been told I may need to induce my labor sooner than expected. I don’t have much any support . I currently get income through the department of human assistance , but I am having trouble finding a place that will accept me. As I have no rental history and a lack of credit . That currently remains at 0. My insurance approved me to be helped with the move in deposit . But due to section 8 being closed and many waitlist being long . It is difficult to navigate housing. If anyone has any advice or any suggestions on where I can apply for immediate housing . It would really mean so much. Thank you for hearing me out. And I hope to get some proper guidance, as I am a first time mom with practically no family . Since my parents had passed as a child.

Best area to live for best commute? (mainly to Arden Fair, but also Roseville, Rancho Cordova, Folsom, Elk Grove)

Moving from out of state in few months, and not familiar with the area. Because of wide spread commute, we’re seeking more tips on how commute/traffic would be.

Commute is important to me. We’ll be working
- me: mainly near Arden Fair. Once in a while, roseville or rancho cordova.
- partner: TBD but Folsom or Elk Grove, but doesn’t mind long commute as much as i do.

Looking to rent from July
- at least 2bed2bath, >1000sqft
- Need parking for 2 cars
- Budget $2500-3500

Different areas we’ve researched
- midtown: walkable, more lively, but luxury apts would have smaller spaces, extra parking costs
- east sac: walkable, homes on zillow with parking, but not too many options
- tahoe park/near uc davis medical: seem decent too
- west natoma: not safe? but also seen few luxury apt with great reviews on google and reddit (Sutter Green and Larkspur Woods) but would this rly add to our commute? The Grove looks like a new apt seems nice.
- arden-arcade: any apts ive researched on Howe ave or Fulton ave seem to have poor reviews and safety issues

Appreciate any and every insight!!!

SCAM on Zillow Today in Midtown - 231 22nd St

Today, a listing was posted for 231 22nd St in Midtown. This is not a legitimate listing for rent. Don't pay their $350 holding fee. They will disappear.

I "toured" this property. The house is really for sale, but someone got their hands on the door code.

So they posted it on Zillow and they collect a ton of "holding deposits" and disappear. That's the scam. Pretty common. I saw like 3 people go in after me and warned them.

Looking for new room rental

I'm a mid 30s female with an indoor cat. I don't make a lot right now and I rely on the bus to get around primarily which severely limits my options for jobs and housing. A place in natomas or midtown would work best for me at this time.

I've been paying $1000 consistently for about six months (rent+utilities) so I know I can provide that. Of course if I could pay a little less that would be a bonus.

I mostly keep to myself but I'd be open to becoming friends. I enjoy painting, cooking, baking, video games, and ttrpgs. My boyfriend currently visits me once a week, but we are both generally pretty quiet and respectful. We just have a bit of an alternative lifestyle. I enjoy a good drink and I'm fine with smokers as long as they do it outside

I'm pretty good at cleaning up after myself in communal spaces and I'll be happy to help out more when I have the time and energy. I'd be down to cook some household meals sometimes and find other ways to contribute if appreciated. I have a lot of little skills and knowledge that can come in handy.

EITHER room for rent in 2bdrm in Midtown near Sutter’s Fort! Smaller room $925/larger room $1,065!

Hello! My name is Kiana and I am a 31 year old working full time night shifts here in Sacramento! My absolutely lovely bestie and roommate is sadly moving out so I need to find her replacement, ideally to move in on June 1st! Lease is MONTH TO MONTH. You can rent EITHER the smaller room I am currently in for $925/month or the larger room with a walk in closet & direct access to backyard area for $1,065/month! I’ll either stay in the room I am currently in or move to the bigger room! Utilities are Xfinity, PGE and SMUD. The apartment is a charming unit in a great part of Midtown near Sutter’s Fort! I am currently slowly working on redecorating the place but these are the best pics that I currently have as a work in progress, some of these items will be replaced! Barring current photos of the larger room as my friend is working on gathering her things to move out, I have attached photos of both rooms taken previously (smaller room is 1st photo, larger room 2nd photo)

We have a full kitchen, fireplace and our own backyard area. Shared bathroom. Unfortunately, there is no laundry in the building as it’s older, but the laundromat is literally just a couple blocks away. NO PETS, landlords rules:( If you’re respectful of a shared space, friendly and a woman, I would love to chat and see if it would be a good fit! I usually schedule a video call or even in person showing of the apartment as a next step. Thanks!!

Need recommendations for newer apartments in Sac

I work at UC Davis medical center and would like to live closer to work with guaranteed parking, in unit laundry, and absolutely no pest issues. Ideally a 2bd 1bath (or 2 bath) for around $2500 a month.

ISO room for rent

Hello, I’m looking to rent a room for one month for my 18 year-old daughter. She will be attending college, but her housing isn’t ready yet so we just need a room or sublet for one month. The Airbnb prices seem wild, so I thought I would check the Reddit subs.

Looking for housing in Sac/Citrus Heights/Carmichael area

Hey there! I wanted to start putting out some feelers. I'm looking for a 1-2 bedroom place, preferably a house, for a long-term lease. My max budget right now is $1600 if 2.5x income requirement, and $1900 if 2x the requirement at current income. I have consistent, verifiable income and will be receiving a guaranteed raise in June to further increase my income to about $5k/month. I am looking to move anywhere between end of June - end of August.

Positives: it is just me and my kid, so no roommate drama. We live very clean, chill, responsible lives and will ensure to take care of wherever we end up finding. I can provide a higher deposit with first month rent, or it could be considered a second month of rent, to help further instill faith in us as tenants.

Negatives to finding housing: I do have very poor credit right now that I am slowly working on. There is an eviction on record, but there was very extreme circumstances involved and I am more than willing to explain to anyone willing to work with me, but am not trying to give a sob story or try to garner sympathy for a place to live. I am looking for a private landlord preferanly, as property management companies and most apartment complexes so far have been unwilling to work with me, and there are certain complexes I am extremely hesitant to apply to with a young child.
