Hey boys, got a new job for you!

“That was too far man Bojack Horseman is a genuine fucking menace I did not like that!”

“Yeah he groomed a 17 year old”

Does anyone know if Bojack is a gelding or a stallion?

So I know he’s been known to have a lot hookups, and he’s never gotten anyone pregnant. This evidence is pointing towards him being a gelding, and having his testicles removed. Any thoughts?

Celebrity name shout outs

When I first was watching this show, I thought the random names they would mention (for example denis Leary, LL cool j etc) were all made up names but then I actually went to search them up and found out that every single person they mention or at least 95% are real people!! When they shout out names especially in an offensive way or joke, do they tell the person beforehand?

why do so many people relate to this show?

i mean, bojack is a horse, not a man!!! how can people relate to that!!! furthermore all the characters are animals, therefore you can’t relate to any of them because you’re not an animal!!!!!

unless you are in which… uh… sorry to be speciesist?

Hot Take: Bojack is the worst side character, the only reason he isnt seen as just as bad as the main characters is due to limited screentime

I recently finished my first ever rewatch of Bojack, drilled through it in like a week and a half. My first watch I found Bojack to be a somewhat unremarkable, secondary, neutral character. Sure he played a role in season 6 part one but I kind of just brushed him off.

Upon rewatch though? Bojack is an asshole. He takes zero accountability for himself and actively takes steps against himself and blames Beatrice. Beatrice’s only crime was leaving her dad, which ok fair very poor choice, but come on, you're telling me Bojack took a swig of the alcohol, and then decided to chug it like he was fucking parched for water and not once realizing it was alcohol?

And then he made the conscious choice of getting on Horsin’ Around, and Beatrice comes to give him constructive criticism bringing up a good inspiration Ibsen. And somehow it’s Beatrice’s fault? She did the right thing, she took a man who very clearly ruined her and Bojack "won’t forgive him", bro you ruined her body? And she literally gave you a house to live under?

And then he procedes to reveal the stuff Beatrice told him in confidence in his book? All to take down the woman who "caused you trauma" when realistically it was 100% his own fault? I dont care that hes not actually the horse from Horsin Around, firstly he presents himself as an actor to all the people in Hollywoo, and even at that, thats a super messed up thing to just blurt out about the woman who actively raised you and gave you constructive criticism.

I feel like that sequence of events is just as bad as some of the stuff people hold alot of the main characters accountable for. The only reason hes not seen as just as bad as them is because hes only in a handful of episodes, and by that point the show has made you hate Beatrice so much that you cant see that Beatrice is not only not at fault in that situation, she is actively doing the right thing

Hot Take: Charlotte is the worst side character, the only reason she isnt seen as just as bad as the main characters is due to limited screentime

I recently finished my first ever rewatch of Bojack, drilled through it in like a week and a half. My first watch I found Charlotte to be a somewhat unremarkable, secondary, neutral character. Sure she played a role in season 2 but I kind of just brushed her off.

Upon rewatch though? Charlotte is an asshole. She takes zero accountability for herself and actively takes steps against her family and blames Bojack. Bojack's only crime was bringing alcohol to a high school prom, which ok fair very poor choice, but come on, you're telling me she wouldn’t have done the same back in the 90s?

And then she made the conscious choice of breaking into Bojack’s private domicile and interrupting his special time with Penny. And somehow its Bojack's fault? He did the right thing, he took a girl who very clearly was sober and legal to prom and Charlotte get mad, like bro you had your chance? And you turned Bojack down so now you’re ruining his moment?

And then Charlotte proceeds to physically threaten Bojack like he’s some villain? This is very rude treatment to a guy who helped your family for months — when realistically it was 100% your daughter’s fault? I dont care that Charlotte was being an overprotective mom, thats a super messed up thing to just blurt out about the guy who was actively part of your family.

I feel like that sequence of events is just as bad as some of the stuff people hold alot of the main characters accountable for. The only reason shes not seen as just as bad as them is because shes only in a handful of episodes, and by that point the show has made you hate Bojack so much that you cant see that Bojack is not only not at fault in that situation, he is actively doing the right thing

My mom’s necklace turned out to be costume jewelry.

I know nothing about jewelry.

We had thought this was a valuable family heirloom. I took it to a jeweler that is not in a position to buy it, but has a gemologist. I figure this way they would not be scamming me.

Their gemologist says it’s all just glass and pretend gold.

Very depressing. (edit: Don’t read too much into that. I simply thought we had inherited something rare and valuable and we hadn’t. Not the end of the world.)

Anyway, what is this? It seems like a lot of work for someone to create with imitation materials. Is it mass produced?

Edit: I added the picture of my wife wearing it in the comments. Now that I know it’s not super valuable, it seems safer to wear. It looks awesome on her :)
