Does anybody else like Love Deluxe the least?

No hate; I think Sade is amazing. But I don't know, even with Love Deluxe being the most popular and celebrated, I find that it is missing many of the riffs and soul that made the previous three albums amazing.

This might be a hot take but... No Ordinary Love is my least favorite song off the album. I find the vocals to be incoherent with the instrumentation. I really don't like the chorus. However Kiss of Life, Cherish the Day, and Like A Tattoo are all great. Regardless, I feel like Love Deluxe strays away from the warmth and complexity of the previous three albums and becomes a bit too synthesised and overproduced.

What do you guys think?

Looking for a Sade song with a male voice in the background

I am almost sure I heard a Sade song with a male voice in the background sampled, kind of like an arpeggiator, repeating the same syllabus fast... It had a usual jazz typical Sade vibe but I can't find it on playlists. Could you please help me find this? Thanks!

Sade tattoo

Hey r/Sade !
I finally did it — got a tattoo of the Love Deluxe album cover. And honestly? I’m completely in love with how it turned out.
I’d seen tons of similar ones scrolling through Pinterest, but mine came out even better than I imagined.
This tattoo feels like that: a permanent mark of how Sade’s music has lived inside me for years.
Especially “Like a Tattoo” — that line about something being etched so deep it becomes part of you… yeah. That’s exactly what this feels like.
Just wanted to share my little piece of forever.
