Just been told by Sainsbury the reason my wine and beer were missing from my online delivery was they dont sell alchohol today because its indepence day.
Smells like bullshit to me.
Smells like bullshit to me.
I was in a Sainsbury's the other day, and their 5 litre bottle of screen wash was marked at a whopping £6. Most screen washes are £2.99 in other shops.
Just wondering why Sainsbury's charges so much more for their screen wash.
From having Googled this, it appears that Sainsbury's are rather quick to issue lifetime bans against customers they feel have been "difficult."
What I would like to know is, what is the specific criteria Sainsbury's uses to determine whether or not a lifetime ban is justified? Is there any? Or is is just subjective?
If it is subjective, that is problematic and concerning as it opens up the possibility where some customers find they are slapped with bans for relatively minor things, such as challenging a manager, purely because they rubbed them the wrong way.
There is a definite pattern, not just at Sainsbury's, but many other private businesses, where certain groups tend to get banned, while other people don't get banned for the same thing, or worse. These groups include elderly customers, women, the vulnerable, lower income people, foreign born customers, and people with mental health issues.
In the UK, it seems as though some private businesses weaponise these lifetime bans against any customer they decide they don't like. It starts to cross into an abuse of position which favours spiteful, punitive and discriminatory behaviour over making positive effort to effectively resolve issues with customers. Perhaps they think the latter is too hard.
I would love for Sainsbury's to comment on this.
Heyyy, I had a job interview scheduled via teams for 12.30pm I then joined the meeting no one joined I called the Sainsburys shop I applied for they said they will be in contact same day a lovely lady called and asked to come in Friday 10am the next day I came 10 minutes before waited 15 minutes in the canteen without her then she came everything went smoothly we had conversations a long the way she complimented my confidence told me she want to hire younger gen like me because they only had older generation in the shop then before I left she said she’ll call me on Tuesday or if I get a email saying I didn’t pass to call her I didn’t get updated so I called myself Tuesday she said she doesn’t know the results yet she’ll tell me whenever she knows in the interview she also mentioned that she doesn’t do teams interviews so she was confused on how she had a meeting on there she also said she went be my manager for my position what could be going on?
I also can’t check on the portal because before the interview even happened because the teams meeting wasn’t completed so it shows unsuccessful but would she have told me on call too if I wasn’t successful?
Has anyone else experienced their online Sainsbury’s shop being delivered with extra items that have been added on?
I keep getting items that aren’t mine in my delivery. I initially assumed these were items from another shopper’s order that had made their way into my delivery by mistake, but when I query them the driver looks them up and confirmed they’re on my order. A couple of times I double checked myself and they were indeed on my order.
But I never ordered them! Often they are things I would never order, so it seems implausible that I am repeatedly adding strange things without noticing!
Is this just me or is the Sainsbury’s app just hallucinating at this point?
I bought my dad a polo shirt on Sunday for Father’s Day when the 25% offer on clothes was on, along with shorts and some food items. The polo shirt was too small so took it to another location and exchanged it for a big size a couple days later but the worker at the kiosk told me I had to pay the extra 25% cause the promotion was over which just struck me as odd because it’s literally the same item just a size bigger. Surely they wouldn’t honour the 25% if I was asking for a refund instead?
Idk the more I think about it the less sense it seems to makes, am I being silly here?
