Potential new manager?

This is obviously all hypothetical and speculative, but assuming Tonda goes (which i think he will, I don't see how he keeps his job after this), who would you like to see take over as manager, someone who's managed us before, someone we've been linked with before, or a whole new name entirely?

One name that keeps coming to mind for me, he's honest and has experience in both the championship & the Premier league, is Sean Dyche, obviously he's never going to be a world class manager, but he's trusted, likeable and I think, a pretty solid manager and would do ok with us (provided our player recruitment is as good next year, as it was this year)

Again this is all speculative and hypothetical as we dont know if Tonda is gone, but would be interesting to see what people think.

Be careful what our emotions get us to do as fans

I'm seeing a lot of outrage. People wanting longer and longer lists of people sacked, no longer just considering what the club needs to get rid of to move forward, but seemingly, from emotion. Whether you like them or not, wanting blood of everyone is only gonna weaken us far more than we already are. We could be stuck down here for a looooong time. I've even some seen going after Solak. Chasing him out could end up being the dumbest act of self harm we could possibly do. He's not gonna be replaced with a bankrolling and loyal oil sheik.

I worry some fans are reacting with such anger because we're worried about other fans thinking we're okay with what happened. We aren't. But we can still be upfront qbout that, while still vehemently sticking up for our interests and allowing whatever's thrown at us to slide off like water off a duck's back.

Nothing good comes from being the most outwagdly outraged. This could be a huge turning point for the club's history. I'd more than happily be disliked and successful rather than inoffensive and languishing 💪

Log off and enjoy your summer

Saints mean so much to us and I know we have all invested money, time and emotions in the club, as football fans do.

But there genuinely is more to life than football.

This situation sucks, but hopefully will be contextualised over time against genuinely more severe crimes that have occurred.

Have a break, enjoy your summer, hopefully Spurs help to take some of the heat off us this weekend, and let’s get behind England at the World Cup!! 🦁🦁🦁

What will happen to hotel and train/National Express tickets?

The club has only stated it is refunding "official" travel. I'm guessing these are organised coaches by the club/supporter groups as well as tickets and associated booking fees

What about hotels, trains, and public coaches (like National Express)? If some people can't get refunds then are they going to be left in the dark?

Is there any saying that the semifinal will be refunded?

Like being cheated on

Writing helps me process so sorry if this ends up being long.

I genuinely feel like I've been through most of the stages of grief over the last few days.

Then it hit me this morning, the depth of feeling here is almost like being in a trusting relationship with all its ups and downs, but you have memories, good times, common ground, whatever else in your history and then the other person cheats on you.

Initially my mind went straight to "it's over, there's no way I can be part of this anymore" but then I realised that with football, as with romantic relationships & friendships, the history & loyalty still count for a lot.

With that in mind, maybe, with the right amount of remorse, apologies and intentional rebuilding of trust, this can be survivable as a "relationship".

I have also been trying to be philosophical. Humans are humans and make really stupid mistakes sometimes. Tonda & his team have made a catastrophic error of judgement. I don't think this will become a thing because I think he'll get a ban, but somehow the club telling him he has to stay & make amends & take the anger and the feelings of betrayal like he would if he'd "cheated" in a relationship might be fitting. It'd take some understanding and patience from us fans, but making him face the music, be really uncomfortable for a but and do the right thing by us all long term might actually be a healthy way to repair.

Told you it'd be long. Not sure how much of it I'll still agree with when I re-enter my next stage of grief 🤣

We're all Hull 🐅 on Saturday

Queue a hate watch for the ages. Really feel for the Tigers, feel like Boro have been given an unfair advantage as they've known their opposition for a while now, unlike Hull. Plus Boro have shown themselves as a bunch of soppy c*n*s through all of this, so WE ARE ALL TIGERS NOW, AREN'T WE??

The only news I want to hear now.

The only news I want to hear out of our club now, is that EVERYONE linked to this shitshow, has been SACKED, no ifs, buts, maybes, everyone from Tonda to Will Salt and everyone in-between needs to be gone.

Trust has been well and truly DECIMATED, its going to take a hell of a long time to build that trust back up, but it starts with sackings!!!

Ps, thank you to the players for giving us some great memories this year, you really put in a shift, you didn't ask for & don't deserve this, just like us fans.
