IFR & Fan Consultation

Hi everyone,

I am a student at the University of Bath currently conducting a study on fan perceptions of club governance in English football. I am looking for fans across England's top 5 leagues to complete a short questionnaire (roughly 3 minutes).

Your responses will help shed light on how clubs can better consult fans on governance and business matters under the Independent Football Regulator's (IFRs) regulation. If you'd like to take part, please click the link below.

Southampton and Spygate (a legal podcast)

I produce a legal podcast with Sir Nicholas Mostyn, who is a big Saints fan. It's co-hosted by two of the UK's top legal bods, Charlie Falconer and Helena Kennedy. So since Matty has gone for 85m how much of a profit did the club make with the sell on clause, I know it was a profit one so it's not a significant amount of money but hey every little helps.

I think I'm done...

Me and my sister were in the bath last night and we were discussing this.

How on earth can any of us still support Southampton after what has happened.
I've been reluctant to renew my season ticket, I just paid an unbelievable rate last year to watch team essentially play a season that is void.

I don't get any sort of compensation, and am expected to fork it up AGAIN. What if something else happens.

What happened to our integrity? Our sporting morals? Throwing a poor intern under the bus before his career has even started.

I think for the time being I'm going to go to the Sholing games - at least until I think our club is cleared of the rancid management that we have.

I don't know if anyone else feels this way, but I had to get it off my chest.

Am I being crazy or unfair?

Pre-season

Seems the majority of sides have announced lots regarding pre-season. Us nothing. Any thoughts on when we might hear something? Reckon we'll go to Turkey again? Perhaps Germany if we're really sticking by our man...
