Hello y’all! I am preparing to move to Salida from Appalachia looking for a better life. I love it here but have had a series of family/general traumas, I survived a plane crash of all things lol! Honestly at this point just wanna start over! I am planning to move next year. Before then I can save around 12,000$. I have worked in a hotel as a front desk manager and as a security guard but am open to other jobs. Security,hotels,whatever! My questions are what is typical rent and bills like there? Can I make it off working like 32 hours a week as a hotel employee or security guard? What else should I know? I found this place online years ago please help me make it home thank you!
