What's this dot next to my front camera on my Samsung S24?

Hi everyone, as by title I find myself with this weird dot that's always present next to my camera hole regardless of whether the camera is being used or not. It looks way too round to be oled cancer. Is my internal camera being used by some weird service or app? How to find out?

Nillkin Super Frosted Shield Pro Magnetic for Samsung Galaxy S24 (6'2")

S Tier Case

The design is well thought, the case has a mix of sleek and rugged feel. It feels premium with the textured back, grips on the sides and buttons. The bumbers are minimal and not too chunky, also corners are raised slightly at the front to protect the display from touching a flat surfaces directly.

The magnets are decent. It holds my phone easily on the refrigerator door and even upside down on a metal table. The load capacity or holding strength of the magnets aren't mentioned on models before the S25 series. However I believe it is somewhat around 500-700g. Their S25 and above series cases have dual magnetic arrays which mention a holding strength of 1500g which would be even more impressive.

If you're looking for premium rugged and sleek case with good magnets then the Nillkin Super Frosted cases will definitely be one of the best choices**.**

T7 SSD is Junk - Don’t Buy

So when I got my T7 ssd, I wrote the password down in two (2) different locations because they said if I forget it they can’t help. Well now, a year later after plenty of use with no problems, it says my password is invalid!!!!! WTF???!!!!
I’ve confirmed the password from both locations and it’s the right one!!!!
Samsung customer care said sorry, we can help you return it to factory new but you’ll Lose ALL your data!!!!!
This sucks and they must think I’m stupid to suggest I reset, lose all data, and use it again!!!!

Pre-installed screen protector

I just purchased an S24 Plus on eBay and it's supposed to be in excellent condition with no scratches but there is a scratch. The seller is telling me that that's the pre-installed screen protector that came with the phone originally. Does anybody know if that's true or not because it really doesn't look like a screen protector to me?

S24 Plus is shit

I bought an S24 plus in September 2024. I am not a power user but i know what this phone can do, i game occasionally, take some photos and social media too. I take care of my phone very well as a gadget enthusiast, i love them and care for these little things. But right after year, my earpiece which is the second speaker in the stereo setup started giving out muffled audio. I took it to the service centre, but when i reached there it was working perfectly.

The issue got significantly worse when i had to travel by a plane, right after landing i couldn't make calls or do anything that involves use of any speaker. But now it is usable but the earpiece is still shit (i still didn't service it since it requires backing up the data and my work location is in a remote location).

Recently this shitty phone started restarting just out of nowhere. Now the phone reboots itself atleast 3-4 times a day even while using it. Infact i am writing this post annoyed that it restarted itself now while i was watching a video. Also not to mention The camera is shit for a flagship.

Save your money guys, dont buy this phone.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER!

New Phone? (A36, A56, S24Fe, S25Fe)

I am currently rocking the M31 and while i loved the phone when i got it , it's now kinda outdated.
I really don't know much about new phones and initially wanted to go with the A36 (240€). But the reviews said the camera is pretty mediocre.

Beside a good camera I don't need that much extra power. I'd like to be able to play some games (don't care about high perfomance shooters) and I wanna use picture editing softwares plus the standart social media stuff.

I tried to compare the A56 (330€) with the S24 Fe (420€) and i think the camera is actually way better on the latter. Well there is also the option to go for the S25 Fe (490€) which would also have 256GB of storge, while all the other ones only have 128GB, but its now double the price of the first one. Althrough i ran into some storage issues with the M31 (64 GB) but it was upgradable with an SD-card.

If you have some input I'd gladly take it. Especially if you used one or mutiple of the phones. Thanks in advance!
