My stand detached from my Samsung LN40B530P7N TV

Hey, so I’ve had this tv I got from Goodwill for a while, but suddenly the stand detached from the display. Seems like the screws became loose, but now they’re lost so I have to get new ones. Is there a specific screw I need to use, if so which one? Thanks in advance!

S95H vs S95F (European market)

For the European market (where I live), S95H seems to be the 2026 version of the S95F.
For the US market, S95H is a whole other TV with a thick silver bezel and no One Connect box - in Europe this TV seems to be named S99H.

In Europe, what are the difference between the (2025) S95F and (2026) S95H?
The only thing as far as I know is that the S95H now offers built in Google Cast (Chromecast), which is a good thing - I just hope it offers 4K streaming.

The S95 is only pre-order until mid June here in Sweden, so I don't know if it's available yet in other European countries.

Any way of salvaging my TV?

My 6-year-old curved Samsung TV (Samsung Curved 65" 4K UHD 8 Series Smart LED TV UN55NU8500FXZA) won't turn on after a blackout the other night.

The blackout started while we were already asleep, and was fixed by the time we woke up. (We know it happened and when only because of the flashing microwave and oven clocks, and because of the email notices from the electrical company.

We've had blackouts in past, since buying the TV, with no problems. This one, though, not so lucky. And, while we do have a great surge protector where the TV is, I stupidly never noticed until now that the installers, 6 years ago, bypassed it and plugged it straight into the outlet! (Yes, I blame myself for not realizing it until now.)

The TV is getting power in, as I see the sole red light in the front on. But, when I try to turn it on, nothing happens, and the red light turns off and on every few seconds.

I tried all of the following, to no avail:
– unplug TV and wait a minute before plugging it back in/turning on; unplug TV,
– press and hold button under red light for 30 seconds, try turning it on;
– unplug TV, wait a minute, then press and hold button under red light for 30 seconds, try turning it on;
– unplug TV, disconnect all HDMI cables, wait a minute, then press and hold button under red light for 30 seconds, try turning it on;

I'm out of ideas, and have a growing feeling that, indeed, the power outage took out the TV/something in the TV. 😞

Anyone has any suggestions before I resort to either calling a technician or just calling it a day and wait for, say, 4th of July sales?

Thanks!

TV is bricked after uodate

So this morning I turned on my tv (UN65TU7000FXZC) and there was a notification that an update was available, so I clicked ok to install it. So it was doing it's thing and suddenly the screen went black, so I gave it about 20 minutes and nothing changed. So I tried to turn off and nothing happens. I then long press the remote button and it restarts. Now it slow to restart and once the home screen the remote is non responsive, then screen goes blank and only responds to long press of the power button. I tried resetting by power on and holding the power for 5 seconds, releasing and pressing again for 5 seconds. Tried unplugging the unit for an hour, fresh batteries in the remote, unhooking HDMI and whatnot. Talked to Samsung and they said to take to a repair center and that they wouldn't take care of the cost of their updates bricking my tv... Also looking at the bill of sales, today is exactly 5 years to the day since I purchased. Kinda sus imo. Attached is a video of all it will do. I also noticed blue bars across the bottom of the screen when it is powered on that were never there before. Also if it is powered on and plug my PS5 in, it will allow the ps5 to work, but the colors are super bright weird looking, way off from it used to be.

Video all it do now. Notice at the start of video, tv is on but blank. It goes blank after about a minute.

Defaulting to Samsung TV after last update

I've had my TV for at least a year and I mainly use it with my PC. I would turn it off, and when I turned it back on it would still bring up my PC. After the last software update when I turn it on it loads up the TV stations instead. Anyone else come across this and hopefully have a fix? It's a 43" TU7000 Smart 4K UHD TV.

Why is my Samsung Tv shutting down my Xbox Series X?

When I try to go to the Home page after finishing a game on the Xbox One Series X my new Samsung Tv decides that I’m shutting down my Xbox One Series X, when technically I did not. It literally tells me there’s no signal coming from my Xbox One Series X and tells me to check the cables and reconnect. How do I stop this from continuing?

Are these dead pixels?

I just bought a 65” Samsung QN70F and found these lines, it is noticeable especially when there is light colour in the screen.

Should I go for replacement?

The Frame TV, LS03F, randomly quitting out of a looping video

we recently purchased several 55" The Frame LS03F TVs to use as hallway info displays in a business setting.. all purchased at the same time, all are set up identically.. all but one are working fine.. they are not connected to Wi-Fi.. yet.. holding off connecting for security reasons, unless absolutely necessary.. all are playing short MP4 videos from a thumb drive, set to auto repeat

the one that is not working properly, will repeat the video a random number of times, then just exit the video.. what it does after exiting is not always the same thing.. sometimes it will just show the video selection screen, as if waiting for you to select/start the video.. btw, there is only one video available on the thumb drive.. sometimes it will just go to a black screen.. sometimes it will do what appears to be a partial reboot, where it just shows the initial black screen with 'The Frame' on it, for half a second, then it goes to the 'Antenna Cable: Disconnected' screen..

the fact that it's not doing the same thing each time the video fails, leads me to believe it's a system firmware or hardware issue.. I've tried multiple drives and files, to rule out corrupted media or hardware, but that didn't solve it.. one time during my fiddling with restarting the video, the input devices screen showed two thumb drives, when only one has ever been inserted.. it had a slightly different name.. I don't recall the specifics.. but the TV never actually shows the name I've given each thumb drive.. it just shows something like 'Disk 20'

my next step is to take it on line and see if there's a firmware update, that might correct it.. if that doesn't work, I'll have to reach out to Samsung.. I wanted to make sure I covered the bases before going that route..

any suggestions or insight would be greatly appreciated.. thanks

What’s up with Samsung’s recent firmware releases of ancient smart TVs?

Got a second update in a month or so after ages of silence, I assumed Samsung quit the development of this TV a long time ago. Anyone has an idea what Samsung is up to? Some vulnerabilities severe enough to gravedig firmware of ancient model? Some plans to shove up more ads my way? Root certificates expiring?

My TV model is European QE50Q64TAUXXH
Software version T-NKLDEUC-2740.1 , BT - S

Anyone got any suggestions?

Got this Samsung TV from a co worker a couple days ago. Without a power cord. I’ve learned you can’t just get this cord at Best Buy. Or even on the Samsung site. What should I do?
The model number is: QN55Q7FNAF
Smart Cable number: BN96-44628V
Thanks for anyone whom can help!

Samsung GQ50Q60TGUXZG suddenly won‘t find any Wifi router

Some days ago everything was fine. But suddenly our Samsung TV just decided to refuse any internet connection. When trying to find a router it just keeps spinning, then breaks up without finding something. I already tried to reset the network settings and the tv back to factory settings, did a hard reset by unplugging the TV, restarted the router.

Thing is I doubt the router is the problem because nothing has changed there for the past few months. And usually when trying to connect the TV also finds the routers of the neighbors. But now it’s simply nothing.

Samsung UA55D6600 sudden lines on screen

My TV suddenly got these lines on screen. It's been there for maybe a month now but it's gotten a lot thicker and the fainter bands are new. What could be the issue here? I purchased a spare T con board in case that was the issue. Saw online that it could also be the flexible connectors inside getting loose. Would me constantly moving the TV around cause this?

Samsung QN90F

Hello All,

I just recently got a QN90F and have run into a problem that makes me wonder if I didn’t set something up right. I set the tv to use Alexa, but whenever I tell Alexa to set a sleep timer, it says it does it but inevitably I wake up with the tv still on. I switched it to Bixby and it has no issue with it. Is it not possible to do with the built in Alexa?
