LG G6 77" vs Samsung S95H 77" vs S95F 83" — picture quality vs extra size?

I'm trying to decide between three OLEDs:

LG G6 77"

Samsung S95H 77"

Samsung S95F 83"

The G6 and S95H are essentially the same price, while the 83" S95F is around 37% less.

I previously had a 77" Samsung S90F WOLED (EU version) but wasn't particularly impressed with its brightness or colour punch. I'd previously seen a smaller QD-OLED S90F and found the colours noticeably richer and more vibrant.

My room gets a decent amount of daylight and my viewing distance is around 10.5 ft / 3.2m. Realistically, I'll mostly be watching SDR content during the daytime, with movies and gaming more towards the evening/night, so good SDR/daytime performance is quite important to me.

The G6 appeals because of its Primary RGB Tandem OLED panel, high brightness including larger bright areas, Dolby Vision and 5-year panel warranty. From reviews, it seems LG has closed much of the gap to QD-OLED in colour performance while offering exceptional overall brightness.

The S95H (EU non-bezel version, not the S99H) appeals because it's QD-OLED, which should give me the higher saturated colour brightness/volume I felt was missing from my S90F WOLED.

The 83" S95F is tempting because it's around 37% less while giving roughly 16% more screen area. However, it uses Tandem WOLED rather than QD-OLED. I know it's considerably higher performance than the conventional WOLED in my old S90F, but I'm wondering whether I'd still miss the extra colour punch of QD-OLED.

I'm also unsure about Samsung's matte/Glare Free coating versus the more traditional glossy appearance of the G6. Reflections matter in my room, but so do perceived blacks, contrast and clarity. I've seen the G6 in person but haven't seen either Samsung.

Which would you choose for this usage: the larger and considerably cheaper 83" S95F, the G6 for its brightness/all-round picture quality, or the S95H for QD-OLED colour punch?

I need help with my tv

Hello community! Recently I started having problems with my Samsung TV, when I turn it on it behaves super strangely, it takes about 20-30 minutes to turn on, during which it keeps turning on and off like in the video below. Personally I don't know what's wrong with it, is it worth keeping it or getting another one? The TV is 2 years old. Here is the video:

77" S90D no power supply in stock

Purchased 77" S90D from Walmart Dec 2024. Power supply failed in April 2026. Paid $540.00 to repair. Failed again August 5, 2026. Called authorized repair center about warranty repair. They said to complain to Samsung. After 30 minutes Samsung will repair under warranty parts and labor. Scheduled repair is August 17, 2026 between 9 AM and 1 PM. Got a text at 9:30 on August 17. We are not coming as we do not have the replacement part. I take a day off for the repair man and it is lost. Is this any way to run a company?

$3,000 Samsung TV Failed After 3 Years — Now Samsung Can’t Even Deliver the Replacement

I bought an 85-inch Samsung QN85C a little over three years ago for more than $3,000, and recently the TV suddenly stopped turning on.

I was told that one of the backlight LEDs had failed, but the technician took one look at it and said the entire panel would need to be replaced. Since the repair cost would be extremely high, I contacted Samsung to see if they could help.

Samsung offered me only a modest discount toward a new QN80H, so I decided to place the order anyway. Unfortunately, that has turned into another frustrating experience.

The estimated delivery date came and went, and the TV never arrived. Every time I call Samsung Order Support, the reps simply tell me that they are “escalating the issue,” but I never receive any follow-up, email, or meaningful update.

One representative even told me that the system showed a specific delivery date, but when I called again, another representative confirmed that there was actually no such delivery information in the system.

What makes this even more frustrating is that if I go to Samsung’s website right now and place a new order using the exact same delivery address, the website says the TV can be delivered within just a few days.

Meanwhile, my original order has now been sitting there for almost three weeks with no real update.

It does not appear to be a simple inventory shortage either. Best Buy and other retailers can deliver the same or similar models within a few days. What is especially frustrating is that Samsung’s order representatives do not seem interested in actually finding out where the order is stuck. They just repeat the same limited information over and over again without investigating the problem.

At this point, it feels like Samsung is not taking the customer seriously.

After spending over $3,000 on a Samsung TV that failed after only three years, and then dealing with this level of customer service when trying to buy another Samsung TV, I am seriously considering going back to LG.

Connecting to the Coax input

I have a QN65Q6FNA tv that has a coaxial input on the back that I’d love to connect my old Atari 2600 to.

The problem I’m having is there doesn’t seem to be any way to select it as an input on the TV itself. My cable box connects via HDMI, so it’s not being taken up by the Cable input.

Am I missing something?

Need help choosing a TV

I have a $400 gift card that I can only use on Samsung at Best Buy. Price must be $799.99 before tax to qualify. I would like to stay under $1100.

The room is relatively small, and the TV will generally be viewed from 4-9 feet away. To me, 55" feels small at 9 feet but 75" feels quite large at 4 feet. 65" seems to be the sweet spot in this case but I could definitely still make 75" work.

I will be doing some gaming on it so higher refresh rate is better. Nothing competitive though so 120hz is perfect. (Couldn't even find anything below 120hz at this price point anyways) The room stays pretty dark so this is where the criticisms of the models I have looked at worry me.

The QN70F models seemed to be perfect at first but after reading so many people trashing on it I kept looking. Best Buy lists the QN70H as having full array local dimming but people online claim it's actually edge lit? Extremely shady on BB if that's really true.

I was very close to pulling the trigger on the QN90F due to some local BB having the 65" and 75" as open box options for about $1000 but unfortunately I cannot use my gift card on open box items which brought me here. I don't personally have experience with edge lit vs full array, I am just trying to avoid regretting my purchase so it's okay if that ends up still being the recommended choice for me.

Where do you change the bluetooth name for modern Samsung TVs?

On my Series 6, it was either under Bluetooth settings or Network settings, I forget which, but I had it set to "Apt 7A" both so I could confirm that it's definitely mine, and to keep others from mistakenly connecting to it. However I don't see anywhere in the settings menus of my 55" 2025 model to make this change, or even see it. Has this feature simply been phased out? Or did I miss something?

S90D OLED died, only 18 months old

As title states, I won’t ever be getting another Samsung again. I’ve had issues with their laundry units and dishwashers as well. Bought the S90D Jan 2025, last week the picture suddenly scrambled out of nowhere and the screen went half blank. I tried to turn it off and back on from there and the screen went completely dead with a red light blinking twice. Warranty team came out yesterday and confirmed the panel died, and I’ll be getting a refund check to buy a new TV. They also confirmed this is very common with this TV. Frustrated that I now have to spend more to get an equivalent TV, and that this happened after only 18 months. Even my awful $90 Amazon Fire TV by Toshiba lasted vastly longer than this.

Pixelated MKV playback

I have a bunch of ~250MB video files on a USB drive and trying to play them on a Samsung Smart TV. The clips play just fine on a laptop using VLC.
The TV recognizes the files and the format. However, playback is pixelated, stuck and jumpy every 2-3 seconds.

Wondering if anyone has a solution to this issue.

TV won't turn on, physical button broke.

Tv won't turn on. Been pressing the power on button on my remote but it won't turn on. Instead, the red light kept blinking after a couple presses on the power button. Searched up on youtube how to fix it. They said you need the physical power button on my TV, but mine broke and it won't work. Any solutions?
