(OneUI 8.5 S9 FE 5G)

Since I had a red-ish wallpaper last time, I tried the more customization on good lock/ theme park/ quickstar BEFORE updating to oneUI 8.5 and it was fine but I remembered in that version (8.0) no option for Colouring the quick panel' background so it was just transparent gery-ish white. But after updating to ONEUI 8.5, after doing something (read mistakes below at end) i changed the wallpaper & when i tried to change color- background is stuck with pink color, even specifically selecting color for background.

So, the thing/ troubleshooting i have tried so far:

• Restarting the tab

• Turn off and on the color palettes in "wallpaper and style"

• create and apply theme MULTIPLE TIME in:

- Theme Park

- Quickstar

But some mistake that I have that is uninstall almost all the apps (even goodlock) while it (color palettes from theme park & quickstar) was applied & active (dont ask why).

I don't know what to do and i am scared that it may broke my tab.

Monochromatic setup configuration using only stock Good Lock

I like seeing this style of customization; Samsung is the king of this.

It would help increase Vibration Haptics which isn't available at many places like Volume, Power buttons, Gemini activation, etc,,,, with paired with third party apps.

That would be cool.

Go to:

Settings → Apps → tap the small Filter & sort icon (top-right of the app list) → enable "Show system apps" → OK → One UI Home → Storage → Clear cache

"One UI Home" is a system app hidden by default; tapping the the innocuous-looking Filter & sort icon in the Apps list will bring up the "Filter & sort" pop-up where you then switch the toggle on for "Show system apps" then tap OK.

For reference, this was for my S22 Ultra, but it may be useful for other Samsung models as well. Even restarting the phone, disabling/re-enabling Task Changer, and reinstalling Home Up did not solve the issue. This solution fixes the recent June 2026 "Home Up" update that [seemed to] break the Task Changer functionality where none of the options worked: Grid Layout, Vertical List, Slim List and Tilt Stack.

Why on earth are the pictures I'm selecting from my gallery not filling in the icon shape? I tried unapplying the icons and then changing the picture and selecting the shape and it's not doing anything different. I even tried multiple different pictures and those did the same thing for only those apps!

This is my Bat Lock Screen 2.0.

It has more of the tactical/industrial vibe compared to the earlier version, imo.
