Every time I go into my local lab to get my scans in I always wonder how the consumers photography experience is like! How long have you been shooting for and where is your favorite place to shoot! It has been 3 months since I've purchased my first camera and I hope to make some friends within the film photography circle on this subreddit! Reach out if you'd like! I would like some friends :,)

I’m New to San Diego, coming from San Francisco, I'm a new photographer that started in Poit Reyes, CA where most photographers are friendly, give tips and location around the areas, and here in San Diego area whenever I ask for location as I'm new to the area, they ignore me or say that they can not share locations for animals safety, but only they area allow to take pictures ? This community is so toxic, also l share this picture to a local group that I took by el Centro California , and I got mostly bad comments , that animals need respect , and I explained I used my 600 mm I was far, and used my Nikon z9 also, and still they did not like it, I’m feel so frustrated here, I just wan to to around and take pictures as this my hobby and my passion , I don’t make any money from it, I just like taking pictures
