Looking for housing

I am currently in the process of trying to figure out housing, apartments, etc. Some of the places I look require 4x pay which isnt quite the issue, its the fact they also require a ridiculous amount since my current rental refuses to verify i am renting.

I am also looking into ways around things, do not want a co signer as there are two of us moving into the housing.

Calling all people in their 20’s

My husband and I are 26. My family has had a lake house that we come to stay at every summer between Huron and vermillion. We absolutely love the charm and coastal aspect of this area. We really only went into Sandusky for Meijer and Cedar Point over the years. We’ve been looking at possibly moving and after looking at home prices there, we are strongly considering Sandusky as an option. We know it doesn’t have the same charm as the other towns I mentioned, but having access to those other towns would be great, while also living in a slightly larger area.

This is where I need advice from people around our age. Have you enjoyed living there? Is it what you expect? Do you feel like it is easy to meet people?

I have a remote job, so only my husband would need to find something. I’ve read that the job market, like most of the country, is sparse.

I would appreciate any thoughts or advice as we are navigating this possibility!

Study Room/Good Place to take a Teams Call

I am going to be camping near Sandusky starting later this week. I had an important work call rescheduled that I need to take. I checked if your library had study rooms or small breakout rooms but all I found were large meeting spaces. Any suggestions on good places to go on a weekday morning? Must be inside and private due to the laws of the country my company is based out of. Its OK if it costs money. Thanks in advance.

We will stay in a vacation house in Sandusky in October. Is there anything in the area we don’t want to miss? We travel with three dogs.
