So I've been living in sarnia my entire life, but have been fairly antisocial. I am also only 18, so i haven't had much time to observe the local lgbtq+ scene. My long-distance girlfriend is a transgender woman and will be moving in with me at the end of August. What are the odds of her starting hormone replacement therapy in sarnia, and how safe would it be for her to go outside?

Today’s Sarnia Journal includes four stories arising from a 61-page Ontario Superior Court application record filed by suspended Sarnia police chief Derek Davis in his dispute with the Sarnia Police Service Board.

The record contains several distinct and independently newsworthy issues involving an allegation concerning media personnel, Davis’s employment contract, public funding of legal costs and his account of a longstanding Police Association labour dispute.

Rather than combine those issues into a single narrative, we have reported them separately so the evidence and limitations of each can be evaluated on their own.

Davis’s July 22 Notice to Arbitrate contains allegations and legal positions that have not been adjudicated. Where the available record does not establish something as fact, the stories say so.

Sirens are going right now, and it's not test day. What's going on?

Just saw a military jet flying over by Rona. Is there some sort of military flight show or something going on?

Bob Bailey has said Microsoft is interested in building a data centre in Sarnia, and so we asked city council who would be willing to look at a Moratorium on it.

Data centres have been known to create noise pollution, water pollution, they do not create meaningful long term jobs and depending on how specific ones are handled the cost of the electricity is often passed on to the home owners and renters paying hydro.

Tried asking on Facebook, went to the most recommended place, waited 30 minutes after the appointment start time, and then had 2 girls' haircuts completed in less than 20 minutes total. Both wanted drastic changes but the stylist didn't even let them speak. Neither even look like their hair was touched.

Soooo I'll try asking here and maybe I'll have better luck. Does anyone actually listen to clients and do decent haircuts?

I'm not bad but im not good at rollerblading. Just looking for a trail or path that is the smoothest for exercise. Side walks aren't the best because the breaks and uneven surfaces. Thanks in advance!

Looking at the court docket for tomorrow and under civil matters I see Derek Davis v Sarnia Police Service Board. I haven't seen or heard anything about this. Anyone have any insight?

I am thinking of moving banking and some small investments over to something more local and out of mutual funds and into a secure GIC.

Indian road area is closed from Errol to around northern as there is a car crashed into a house. Hope everyone involved is okay. Please avoid the area if you can. If anyone is hurt they don't need spectators.

If you live in the Rosedale-Indian-Michigan-Murphy square please be on the lookout for a small brown dog. I have no clue whose dog it is, but I just saw her while I was walking my own dog. I couldn’t take her with me because my dog was too nervous around her and she ran away. I think her tag said Millie and I saw her at Griffith and Capri. I just drove around for 20 minutes looking and couldn’t find her. I really hope you can get her back soon! I will take another look after posting.

My backyard is a disaster with weeds, overgrown gardens, a messy lawn, and some hardscaping that needs fixing.
