Address query for Visa

Hello

My husband and I got married 1.5 yrs ago and my passport has my parents address and his has his parents address. However we stay separately now but yet in our application form we had submitted addresses matching our passport not current address.

Will this raise any red flag?

Should I mention anything about this in my cover letter? I will be attaching my lease agreement However to show ties back to my country.

Please advice on this if anyone had come across this issue.

Chances of getting German Visa

Hi everyone,

Looking for feedback on my visa chances and tips to strengthen my Schengen tourist visa application for Germany.

Trip Details

Dates: June 14/15-June 24, 2027 (9-10 days total)
Route: New Delhi (DEL) ⇄ Berlin (BER)
Purpose: Attending HIVE Festival (Gräfenhainichen / Ferropolis) from June 18–20 (camping included), plus 3–4 days sightseeing in Berlin.
Status: Festival 3-day + camping pass already purchased. Flights & Berlin accommodations will be booked prior to application.

Applicant Profile

Nationality / Location: Indian (applying via VFS Kolkata)
Occupation: Gap year / drop year student preparing for the national medical entrance exam (NEET-UG).
Education Status: Completed 12th grade / higher secondary; currently not enrolled in college.
Exam Date: May 2, 2027 (Trip is planned ~6 weeks after the exam, right before admission counseling begins).
Funding: Fully sponsored by parents.

Planned Documentation

  1. Financials: Father's/Mother's 6-month bank statements, 3-year ITRs, employment/business proof, and a notarized sponsorship letter.
  2. Trip Documents: Cover letter with day-by-day itinerary, HIVE festival tickets, Berlin hotel bookings, round-trip flight reservations, and Schengen-compliant travel insurance (€30k+).
  3. Ties to India: NEET-UG 2027 Admit Card/Confirmation, 10th & 12th marksheets, a cover letter explaining that medical counseling and college enrollments begin in July/August, and family property documents.

Questions

  1. How strict is the German Embassy in Kolkata with gap year applicants under parental sponsorship?
  2. Does attaching the NEET admit card and admission schedule adequately satisfy the "ties to home country" requirement?
  3. Any specific phrasing recommendations for the cover letter to address the gap year?

P.S. Used Gemini AI to clean up the grammar and simplify the post.

Greece visa - apostille

Hey all. I’m planning a trip to Greece from India with my wife end of next month and am about to apply for my visa. The situation is - my wife has a 3 year Schengen issued by Greece (that she couldn’t use) and I will be applying as a sole applicant (I also got issued a 30 day single entry Greece visa last year that I couldn’t use).

Question - Should I attach her visa and passport (which mentions me as spouse) in my application or cover letter. Issue is that my passport doesn’t mention her name nor do we have a marriage certificate. The other option is to just say that I’m going solo. Any help is appreciated!
