Anyone applied for tourist visa in last two weeks from VFS Delhi? If yes please share your status
I have my flight on 9th Oct night. Appointment from VFS Bombay on 10th Sep. No communication yet.
What methods do I have right now to get any comms? Emailed, but no satisfactory response.
I tried to get a Schengen visa through them. They took nearly 5,000 rupees as charges for doing this and visa got rejected. I have a stable job in a private company in Chennai with 45 lakhs per annum package. I had fully refundable tickets. I only asked them to book the hotel hotels and give me a dummy portal booking as well to help me write the covering letter as well as the application form. They did all that , the application form was okay but the covering letter was so bad. And despite me giving additional documents like my marriage certificate and everything they still botched up the entire covering letter and I think their hotel bookings also looked fake and they made me pay for premium as well in VFS saying that it will take less time. And now I have only 15 days to apply for a new Visa. Do not trust these guys at all. After rejection I went back to them asking them whether they can help me with reapplying and they asked for $6,000 rupees and told me that they will only help if the payment is done beforehand.

I am a Syrian undergraduate student with an accepted paper at a NeurIPS workshop in Paris. I applied for the conference financial aid (which covers hotel & registration if approved). Applying via TLScontact Beirut:
Checklist: What exact documents are required for a Syrian student attending an academic conference? Are English translations accepted or French only?
Bank Statement: We operate on a cash economy in Syria (no 3-month bank history). Will the consulate accept a fresh Bank Balance Certificate (~$400) backed by family land deeds and my father's salary slip, or is a 3-month history strictly required?
Processing Time: How long is visa processing taking for Syrian passports via Beirut right now? Is 6–7 weeks enough?

I have my appointment in 3 weeks. I am planning to show 2 bank accounts as a source of funds for a solo traveller.
One will be my salary account which currently has 5L INR (~4.3k euros) balance.
The other bank account has very less amount about 30k INR. I put all the money in this account into an FD last year and it matures a week before my appointment. This is also for 5L. So, will this deposit cause any issues? After maturity, my balance would shift from around 300 euros to 5k euros.
I am planning to add my FD advice to show how that large sum came into my account. Is this sufficient or will it still lead to problems because of that large deposit.
