Hi everyone, looking for some genuine opinions about my Spain Master’s and student visa plan.I completed my BA in Journalism & Mass Communication in 2021 and have been continuously working since then:

- 1 year – Marketing & Communications Executive (leather industry)

- 2 years – Sales, Marketing & Guest Relations Executive (hotel)

- 3 years to present – Hotel Sales, Marketing & Guest Relations Manager

I’m now planning to pursue a Master’s in Hospitality Management in Spain.

After gaining around 6 years of practical experience, my long-term plan is to start my own hotel in India. I want to gain formal hospitality-management knowledge and exposure to Spanish/European hotel management and hospitality practices, and eventually apply that knowledge to my own hotel project.

My main concerns are:

- Is pursuing a Master’s 6 years after graduating an issue for a Spanish student visa, despite continuous documented work experience?

- Does my career progression and choice of Hospitality Management look logical?

- Does my future plan of establishing my own hotel in India make the study purpose stronger?

- My only international travel history is UAE. Could limited travel history be a concern?

- Overall, how does my profile look for Spanish student visa approval?

Would really appreciate views from anyone who has gone through the Spanish student visa process, especially after several years of work experience.

Hi, I’m applying for a Spanish student visa and submitted my documents during the second week of July. However, I still haven’t received any updates. I’ve tried calling them several times, but no one is answering. I’ve also sent emails, but I haven’t received a response.
My flight is fast approaching, so I’m getting quite worried about the status of my visa application. Is there any other way we can contact them or follow up on the application?

Hi all, hoping someone can give some advice. I made an account two weeks ago on the BLS Spain site (https://ph.blsspainvisa.com) but haven't been able to log in ever since. I keep seeing "Error in Authentication: Try again later" after verification.

I've tried the tips I saw online, namely:

-Use Chrome instead of Safari

-Log in from an incognito window

-Create a new password (did this 2x to no avail)

-Tried to log in from a different PC and at different times of day

Kind of at my wits' end here. Is it really because of site traffic? Should I contact their office already to ask? Any help appreciated!

My financial standing is OK naman. Travel history is also good, and may previous Schengen last 2016. Kaso I haven’t been remitting to BIR since I was hired by an overseas company with remote work setup.

My friends and I applied Aug 3 and until now, wala pa rin kaming update except "processing at mission" Tomorrow is the 14th business day.

Was wondering if the rain also has to do with it and baka nagpostpone din operations nila? Just want to set expectations kasi nerve wracking tong waiting game. Thank you po!

I had 2 previous Schengen Visa na, went to Europe this year and last year din. Is there any way for me to contact them regarding my visa application? My sister got her passport for dispatch ako still processing. I have an upcoming workshop on 1st week of September. Im getting so anxious huhu.

I'm planning a trip for my wife back to the Philippines via Seoul. Apparently, Filipinos, who would normally need a visa to enter Korea, may transit through Korea and stay for up to 30 days if, among other things, they hold a visa for a Schengen country.

My wife lives and works in Europe, in one of the countries covered by the scheme.

Apparently, however, the visa is required to be in the form of a sticker in the passport. If you have a residence permit in Europe, you are normally issued a residence card instead. It therefore does not seem to make sense that the authorities state that residents are covered by the scheme while at the same time requiring a visa sticker in the passport.

In practice, this would mean that someone travelling to Europe on a tourist visa (with a visa sticker in their passport) could enter Korea under the 30-day transit visa exemption, whereas someone who actually has a residence permit and permanently lives in Europe could not.

That seems rather strange. Can this really be correct?

Hi! I recently submitted all my requirements sa VFS Manila last July 31. I have a business trip po on August 28. By August 3, I received an email from VFS na pinoprocess na yung visa ko. By august 11, I missed 2 calls from the Consulate of Hungary, i tried to call back and email them but no response. I’m not sure if ano yung reason ng pagtawag nila.

I’m not sure if aabot yung visa ko for my trip on the 28th. Aabot po kayo? What do you think I should do? Thanks

Hi everyone! I just recently landed a job and told me they’d love me to be in Germany for a trade event this October 18-26, however, I have a vacation travel on September 17-22 to Bangkok.

When should I send my visa application? Should it be this week or early next week, before my Bangkok trip? Or right after my Bangkok trip?

Genuine question, meron ba kayong kilala na na denied yung visa to Norway (visit) I was about to apply kasi I'm 23 currently unemployed and planing to process visit visa and yung aunt ko lang (sis ni mama) ang mag sponsor sakin the whole trip. Hi everyone, asking for advice/experiences regarding AOSG for traveling from the Philippines.

I’m employed and have my own work here, so I can show proof of employment and strong ties to the Philippines. My boyfriend is also financially capable of supporting my trip, and he already obtained a Garantstelling from the municipality. We also have complete supporting documents for my visit.

I’ve been encouraging him to also get an AOSG because I’ve read stories about travelers being questioned or offloaded when they couldn’t present one, but he doesn’t think it’s necessary.

For those who traveled under similar circumstances, were you asked for an AOSG by Philippine Immigration? Did they specifically look for it, or was the Garantstelling plus other documents enough?

Would really appreciate hearing your actual experiences. Thank you!

Hello!! Just got back from my 2 week trip from Italy. Plano ko ulet mag apply this December or May.

Questions:

* Should I apply for family visit or tourist visa? Italian citizen mom ko and she's married with an Italian which is my stepdad pero 24 years old na kasi ako.

* I am a working student kaso andami ko nakikita dito na need daw ng tax, eh hindi nagrerequire ng tax yung work ko so kuha ko lahat ng sahod ko. Would that be a redflag?

* Is it okay if my income goes directly to a digital bank? I plan to open a traditional bank and mag deposit nalang ako ng pera dun every month para maipon money ko since need ata ng traditional bank.

* How much should i have in my bank for a 1month trip??

* Is it better to inquire assistance again sa agency since ayun ginawa namin nung una or is it ok to diy nalang?

Hello guys, I need your help. I'm currently preparing my Schengen visa application to visit my bf in Germany for almost 2 weeks. This is actually my first time flying to a visa country. My travel history : Taiwan, Vietnam, Indonesia

Bank: Gold CC 120K LIMIT, 600K in savings
Employment: 2 years as independent contractor

I'd like to get your thoughts on the ff:

- Should I request for multiple entry if we'll also be traveling to other country such as France & Netherlands?
- I'm a VA and I havent updated my tax dec, what do you think will be the alternative
- Proof of ties: I have a paid off car , can I also add the pag ibig, insurance, internet that I'm paying for monthly?
- My bf will cover the accommodation- but the rest we'll split, should I declare him as my sponsor?
- What insurance can you recommend for me to avail for this travel
