Scindapsus or Pothos?
Hello everyone,
I bought this plant advertised as a Scindapsus (with a nickname "Drakenklimop" in Dutch) a few weeks ago and I would like to try to make it climb my wall, however during research I found that scindapsus seem to climb a lot slower than pothos do, so I was thinking about buying one.
Howeverr, as I'm trying to identify what kind of Scindapsus this might be I find it looks more and more like a pothos than a scindapsus to me. The leaves seem a lot thinner than most scindapsus do and the texture and looks seem a lot more simulair to a pothos to me as well.
I am however very new to houseplants, so I didn't want to draw that conclusion myself without asking for some guidance from more experienced plant enjoyers. So here I am :)
Also, any advice for letting it climb up my wall? Is it better to let it climb up a pole a bit first or can I pinch the branches on the wall straight from the pot? I've also ehard that the roots could damage a wall and remove paint, is this an issue that could be a problem?
