Black Bird Fanart

I think one of the most gruesome aspects about Black Bird's death is that the actual state of his body has been covered up. Although I love seeing the shot of him at peace in the end there, I think it's quite messed up considering the context still. While I do believe Manjusaka's intentions were genuine and she was being generous (wanting Black Bird to have a dignified end) when looking at his backstory, it's just .. awful... because it's just another 'pretty' lie that covers up all the suffering he went through. So, like. Not even proof of his suffering after his death was granted to him?? This way, every experience of him has just been erased and discarded, like he didn't matter as a person at all. It's extremely cruel tbh

Anyways, always been thinking about him, I love him..
