New bike day for me.
What do you guys think? I’m loving it. I just need to find a good aero mount for the garmin 1050.
But also do you have any recommendations for the garmin varia radar?
Scott Speedster Gravel 30 seating position
I was thinking about buying Scott Speedster Gravel 30 (2025 in Mentha Green), but I tried it in a bike shop and I felt way too streched out and hunched over. They dont allow you test ride, so I just sat on a bike without pedals with my legs dangling. Maybe it would be better if I could actually ride it?
Is this bike's geometry really agressive or is it me? I am 191cm tall with long legs, I tried XL frame. They only have that size.
I value comfort over speed, biking is more of adventure to me than exercise.
I am coming from a trekking bike, so dropbars are new to me, but this just felt too agressive. For example, I've tried used Cube Nuroad Pro XL (and actually rode it) and it felt way more comfortable and upright.
Scott Foil RC 2022 seat post clamp
I just bought a used Scott Foil from 2022. I took out the seat post and the clamp entirely and cleaned everything to apply new carbon paste. When I took out the clamp it seemed to be just one screw. However then I tried to tighten it and it just did not feel right. The screw almost gave away quite quickly. I did not find any manual and when I looked a spare parts for the clamp (to understand it) I started thinking that this visible screw is just a cover for an actual screw underneath. Now I am afraid that I overtighened the cover screw. Any one have the same bike or some advice? The screw already looks and feels a bit worn so I am really afraid of doing something irreversibly wrong…
Syncros RR1.5 Stem Replacement
Hi everyone,
I've been wanting to replace the stem on my Scott Addict RC40 2021 for a shorter one (110mm to 90mm) but I can't seem to find one in my area. Does anyone know if the Syncros RR2.0 stem works on this model? Or if you have a RR1.5 90mm stem you're looking to sell.
