Rear Rack for Scott Speedster Gravel 30 2026?

Hey everyone! What rear rack or pannier setup are you using on the 2026 Scott Speedster Gravel 30? Any recommendations for the rear mounting points? I am planning a longer bikepacking trip.

Scale 930 M or L

Seems to be the best place other than a shop to ask this question.

I rented one of these and it was such a great experience that I'm buying... But neither I nor the renter know what size I had.

Base on Scotts sizing I'm 180 and smack bang in between sizes.

What might help here is that I currently ride a Medium Voodoo Limba. It's just right and I wouldn't go smaller but could go slightly larger. It's a different bike, of course, for different riding but I don't want to get the size wrong.

ChatGPT reckons I go M, Gemini reckons L... What do the humans say?

"Too big" would be my worst nightmare.

Scott Addict S or M – right on the borderline, need some advice!

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to decide between an Addict 30 in size S (52) and M (54), and I’m honestly struggling to make the call.

I’m 175 cm tall with a 79 cm inseam, so I seem to be right between the two sizes.
I went to a shop and tried both bikes. The salesperson told me that both sizes could work for me and that I should mainly trust my own feeling.

The problem is that on a short test, both felt good. I didn’t immediately feel that one was clearly too big or too small.

My impression was that the S felt a little more sporty/aggressive, while the M felt more comfortable and relaxed.
But after such a short test, I’m not confident enough to know which one would still feel better after a 2–3 hour ride.

Unfortunately, I don’t have the opportunity to properly test either size for a longer ride before buying.
I often hear people say that “if you’re between sizes, it’s easier to make a smaller bike bigger”. But I’m struggling to understand that in this particular situation.

With the larger M, couldn’t I simply remove some spacers if needed and use a slightly shorter stem to reduce the reach?

Whereas with the smaller S, if I find the front end too low, I can’t really increase the stack by much beyond what the frame allows.
Am I missing something here?

I’m looking for a comfortable endurance position rather than an aggressive race position.
What would you choose in my situation, S or M? And more importantly, why?

Please guide me here, I’d really appreciate some advice.
Many thanks!

Scott Addict 30 or 40

Hello,

I’ve been looking for a bike for quite some time, and the Scott Addict (30 or 40) really ticks all the boxes for me.

The Addict 40 would cost me €2,650 and the Addict 30 €3,250. Which one would you recommend choosing? Are there any differences between the two besides the wheels?

Will these models also receive new colours in September, or does that only concern the Addict Gravel?

I’m 175 cm tall with a 79 cm inseam. Which size would you recommend for me? I’ve tried both sizes in-store, but some people recommend a size M while others recommend a size S.

Thank you very much!

First new bike

I finnaly saved up enough to buy brand new bike.

After riding on 6 years old Cannondale I decided to go for RC 30.

Paid only 2600€ which I think od a great deal.

Now it just needs a 50mm deep wheels and good to go

Scott foil rs20 S or M

Hi,

I’m really in doubt between a size S or M.
I like an agressive aero position for regular rides and Will be using this bike with clip on aero bars for 70.3 races.

My length is 176 cm (5.9’) and inseam 82 cm (2.8’)

I’ m looking for suggestions or advice from somebody with the same geometry ?

Thanks

Difference between foil rc and Addict rc?

Hey :)

The colorway of the white Addict rc frame is really sick!

What’s the difference between the two models? I want to go really fast….

Is the Addict rc so much slower with the same groupset/wheels?

First bike since being a kid - Scott Addict 50 (2026) or 40 (2026)

I’m a runner first (~80-100k a week during a block, 60k outside of one) but keen to get into cycling so that I can go on rides with my partner and my friends, squeeze in a bunch of aerobic work, and maybe (very much a maybe) think about tri over the next year or two.

Through my work’s cycle to work scheme, I can pick up a Scott Addict 50 for £1462, or a Scott Addict 40 for £1875, from my local bike shop which I’ve been recommended.

Only difference I’m aware of is Di2 in the 40, and slightly more preferable colours (to my taste at least).

any strong views on whether the 40 is worth the extra money? I’ve only been on a couple bike rides in my adult life so my bike handling and confidence needs a lot of work, but I’ve always enjoyed it and from a purely fitness perspective, I’ve also been enjoyed doing quite a lot of work on a stationary bike whilst injured, so I’m pretty confident I won’t regret what feels like a quite expensive ‘first bike’, but really not sure how to feel about Di2.

i quite like the idea of a fully mechanical bike that I can just roll out on without thinking, and also like the idea of learning about bike maintenance and being able to fix any problems I have on the side of the road. That said, I’m also a sucker for fun electronic stuff.

there’s an outside chance I go bike packing if I enjoy cycling enough next year, as I have a mini sabattical for around 6 weeks coming up. Not sure whether mechanical or Di2 would be better for that.

3D Printed Scott Foil seatpost clamp cover

I made a cover for my scott foil since my old one was worn down and ugly. Posting it if anyone needs the file as well. I’ll provide the printables link in the comments. You should probably print it in TPU or other flexible plastic so it wouldn’t rattle around.

Addict RC

Is the Addict RC line the most current models (2026)? LBS told me these are more aggressive/race oriented. I thought Addicts were endurance, not race geometry bikes.

Scott Addict Gravel saddle bag options

Looking for advice on what to buy here. So much choice with syncros. Not sure the pros and cons between direct mount and quick release. Do quick release still attach to the saddle via the threaded parts?

Are there any aftermarket ones that attach to the threaded connection under the saddle.

Basically looking for a bag that will be large enough to hold a 45mm tube, multi tool, chain link, tyre levers and a couple of tubeless plugs maybe

Scott Addict 20 Experiences

Hi everyone,
I have the chance to pick up a Scott Addict 20 for a really good price, and I'd love to hear some opinions from people who own one or have experience with Scott bikes in general.
How has your experience been with the bike? Are the Syncros components and accessories any good, or have you had any issues with them?
From what I’ve read, it should fit 35mm tires or even more without any problems. Has anyone tried running fast gravel tires? (maybe 35mm g one rs)
Right now, it seems like one of the best value endurance bikes with an Ultegra groupset. Do you agree, or does it feel more like a budget bike compared to the competition?
I’d really appreciate hearing your thoughts and experiences with the Addict or Scott bikes in general. Thanks!

Scott Addict RC vs Addict vs Foil for BENELUX

Hi,
I have explored the off-road routes in Belgium enough to know that MTB will suffice and in most cases out-perform gravel bike.

As for road riding I’m looking for my bike.

Out of the three Scott bikes, which one have you ridden in BENelux?

All bikes fit me perfectly fine in size L, I’ll be deciding between 105 and Ultegra drivetrains.

My pros and cons are the following:

Addict:
+endurance fit, just like trek H2,
+ will slam stem without issues.
+storage
-

Addict RC:
+ looks just like a fast all round bike
+ perfect tire clearance
- no aero

Foil:
+aero
-relatively old design,
- not enough tire clearance

2023 Scott foil tire rub

Hello!

I'm rolling on a 2023 Scott foil with stock wheels: capital aero 1.0s, fitted with a 28mm Corsa pro tire.

At rest, all is good, but when sprinting, there is so much flex in the frame that I get crazy tire rub. See attached pic, seat stay NDS. Took me a while to realize I had this problem.

I first thought it was a problem with the wheelset, but using a friend's wheelset, I have the exact same issue. I can't go narrower tires on this rim.

I weigh 74k, 1300w sprint.

Is this a problem with my frame specifically, a manufacturing error?

I would expect the Internet to be full of complaints, but it isn't.

Thanks!

Difference between Scott foil rc pro and rc team

Hello,

the only differnxe between the two bikes are the groupsets and the 400g more weight in the foil rc team?

If I buy the rc team. What could I replace to get it a little bit lighter?

Thanks 😊
