Theatric bar fight?

Hi Scottsdale! Ok so this may sound very strange at first. A group of us are visiting later this year for our friends 70th birthday. She’s a very spry and fun 70 who still kicks it with us young (30-40yr olds lol). We travel around all over with her but this trip we are taking the husbands, as a joke we would like to stage a bar fight (it’s on her bucket list) and have the husbands believe us girls always do it. Is there a theater group that we could hire to pull this off? Thank you!

Ladies, please don't leave your purse unattended!

Was at Zinburger at Scottsdale Quarter yesterday for dinner with the fam. Woman with 2 littles (baby and toddler) gets up and presumably goes to the bathroom with the kids. Gone at least 10 minutes. Leaves purse on the table and diaper bag at table floor. She didn't have a companion at the table to watch her stuff. I understand the diaper bag but the purse?!? Crazy. Looked quite stuffed too. Maybe she had her wallet in her pocket or only has Apple Pay on her phone. It's amazing how comfortable one gets in bougie town.

I'm a mom as well (kids are now 12 and 14) and I still remember the chaotic baby/toddler years. But not once would I have ever left a small purse just sitting on the table for anyone to grab!

And I've lost count of the number of older ladies at the grocery store who leaves their purse wide open (wallet right on top) in the cart (where a kid would normally sit) and walks away, phone in hand, looking for something. I've had to tell them to just bring their cart to where they're standing. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Need someone to take over our lease — 2 Bedroom at Luxe Scottsdale, $1,710/mo

I need someone to take over my lease. We have about 9 months left. I am moving out for my job.
It's a 2 bed / 2 bath at Luxe Scottsdale (the "Mojito" floor plan). We signed up back in December when they had a deal for this price of $1,710/mo before they raised prices. The price for this floor plan is $2,388/mo for the 12 month lease term and now it’s actually sold out. Our apartment is on the 2nd floor and our building is the only 2-story building in the entire complex (every other building in the complex is 4 stories), so that makes us the top floor with no one above us. Our balcony faces toward the mountains so we have a nice view of the mountains.
We also rented out a garage that can transfer with the lease if you want it, it's optional. It's $100/mo for us (they normally charge $200) and it's a 2-car garage right next to the building entrance., but if you have two cars it would be a good idea to take the garage for extra storage alone.
If you're interested, message me and come see it in person.

Any good spots to see the fireworks tonight?

I am just here for the weekend and I was wondering if there are any good spots around here to see fireworks. I am currently staying in the north Scottsdale area. Also, wanted to know if it’s possible to burst 2/3 fireworks around the area.

Last night from Grahawk

It was all 1 when I pulled out my camera then broke into 3 pieces. Anyone else see this? Meteor?

And no it absolutely was not a firework.

Happy 4th All. But I’m Lonely And Wanna Be Around Good Folks

Hello Fellow Scottsdandelions (not sure wtf we actually referred as lol). As the title says Happy 4th weekend and everyone stay safe!

I’m so bored and constantly. Working such a demanding schedule as a Commissioning Engineer II directly after almost loving my life from an auto-accident Jan 31, 2026. Ive never stopped grinding people have to constantly remind
4 of my accomplishments and how far I’ve came in such a short amount of time. I mean im still in recovery for sure.

Point is, I was destined to move here to AZ, particularly Scottsdale. And yeah I have the most money I’ve ever seen in all of my family combined but I’ve found it means absolutely nothing if I just sit at home, clean, workout a lot, and have no one to share the joys and successes of life with. I’m respectful, mindful, loving, and just wanna see everyone win and be happy as I want that for myself.

Not particularly a drinker, though lately I’ve been trying it and ooof I been liking it lol. I’m a 29 male who’s very active and man enough to admit that I am attractive, but nothing girls are gonna drool over I don’t believe so.

I was just want to have fun, I want to experience my life on purpose and in ways I’ve never been able to my entire life. I grew up in a a trailer, I’ve had my heart severely broken. I could give a shit less about getting laid. I was just want to make friends with incredible people, do incredible things, see incredible things, and smile more. Especially for this holiday. Male and Female Friends!!!!! Either way, it don’t phase me brotha

To wrap it up, if anyone reads all this just know you’re badass mofo and I appreciate you, as I know this was long but necessary for me.

If anyone want to talk further about getting together for some sort of bar league sports function, 4of July shenanigans (I’m dying for) or friends at all, don’t be shy! Hmu and I’m hoping to god none of this is weird lol. I just don’t know anyone and have limited time outside of work! THANK YOU FOR READING THIS MY FRIENDS!

The Globalists have destroyed all AZ 4th of July Plans

My plans were to either go to Sedona or Flagstaff for a peacful hike away from this hell planet.

Well guess what? Most trails in Sedona (Coco whatever the fuck Nation Forest) are closed due to a fire. To make things even worse the smoke from the fires are being GUIDED to Flagstaff on purpose probably so the air quality is dangerous for hiking.

So naturally just drive to CA? Nope hotels mostly booked and traffic will be hell.

Snowboll for skiing? Nope zero snow.

Visit Vegas Sphere? Nope only playing "Wizard of Oz" in 2026

Watch The Odyssey? Not even out.

GUESS ILL JUST WALK AROUND OVERPRICED NORTH SCOTTSDALE STORES THEN. HAPPY 4TH TO EVERYONE!

BS West

Anyone interested in reviving BS West? Not as a "queer" space or "women celebrating their upcoming marriage" party shit show, but as a REAL gay bar? Like MFM or WFW with a dress code and great vibes/cocktails. And before y'all get your panties or jockstraps in a wad, might want to research the history of Old Town and the porn theatres. This would not be it. Go to Zorbas.

Goodbye Cobblestone

New QT on north Scottsdale Road is very nice. For those familiar with QT, the interior is pleasant. They have some new style security cameras and a new CO2 alarm system. New style beverage machines as well. Level 3(?) EV charger at the east edge of the property.

Quick question about downsizing near mormon flats

My parents are looking to move into a smaller single-story patio home in the Scottsdale area this fall. They want to stay relatively close to their current spot but need something with zero stairs and minimal yard maintenance.

Nursing - Scottsdale HonorHealth Dress Code

Hi! I recently accepted a job at HonorHealth Shea. I was wondering what the dress code for nurses are.

I know the scrub color is navy, but I am wondering if there are any rules pertaining to underscrub color.

Furthermore, do they allow t-shirts (if so, what qualifies as acceptable vs unacceptable t-shirts)?

Do they allow underscrubs by themselves or by themselves with a vest/jacket over it? Or do you have to wear a scrub top at all times?

I can't find any info online regarding the dress code, any insight would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pretty crazy the difference made when having an A/C unit that actually works..

APS is a f*cking rip off to begin with but this is a crazy difference. Last year I MADE my apt. complex replace my A/C unit after having multiple issues with it. I didn’t realize until now what a HUGE difference it made for my monthly APS usage. I’ve actually been keeping my place cooler than usual this time around for this time of the year and I’m still paying 2x less than what I was last year. So if your A/C unit isn’t working correctly and you rent, make sure you hound the office or your landlord until it’s fixed properly because paying an extra + or - $180 for electricity is absolutely absurd.

Scottsdale gets too much hate

I’m originally from Minnesota where most people are super rude and stuck up as if it’s their identity. I remember when I first moved to Phoenix in 2019 and I was in Scottsdale delivering Amazon packages and this was before they gave us vest and I’m walking around mansions and no one bats an eye. In Minnesota people would stare you down in public for no reason, when I hear people say Scottsdale are snobby and racist I try very hard to pay attention but I rarely experience snobby people besides one time I was deliver package at this apartment ( Ninety Degrees Apartments ) in Scottsdale and the front desk people stuck their nose up high and told me they don’t take packages lol. For real Scottsdale gets way too much hate. Yall want to experience snobby go to MN.

Luxury Infill Community Hits Market Near Old Town Scottsdale - Greater Phoenix In Business Magazine

With the completion of “Quarter at Palm,” we have Some more infill development in Scottsdale. I have mixed feelings about this - on one hand, infill is great (this parcel was a parking lot five years ago), but on the other hand, infill is only great if you’re actually utilizing the land to its greatest potential.

These two parcels are 51170 sq ft, and this company built 25 homes. This is a population density of roughly \~26,000 per sq mile, assuming 2 people per home. This is excellent news for Phoenix, given how limited space is in this city if we want to stop swallowing the desert. However, all I can think about is how many more people could’ve fit in this lot if they weren’t just 25 single family homes. Fitting roughly 50 people comfortably into an area just larger than an acre is impressive, but I think it could’ve been so much more, especially considering the proximity to Old Town.

I personally would love to see a lot more hyper-dense multifamily mixed use developments when we’re talking about infill housing in the valley. The elephant in the room here, of course, is that these 25 homes \*start\* at $875,000. Increasing supply is great, but if we’re only increasing the supply by 25 homes and charging +$400k over the median price, I don’t think we’re actually helping to solve anything with this development. It’s an interesting housing development, and it’s an interesting area. What are your thoughts on this Quarter at Palm project?
