Maternity Clothing in stores?
Where can one go to shop and try on maternity clothing in stores? It seems like most places only have items online now.
Additionally, what stores are recommended to look at and try out baby gear in person?
Thank you!

Not sure if we needed this, but Scottsdale outskirts now has a small, permanent ferris wheel. Fans of Emily in Paris know what shenanigans riders will attempt to enjoy. I am eagerly anticipating the follow-up news articles.
Ok so I’m back for those who helped me about 3 weeks ago. I was looking for a single apartment for about 1000-1300 in North Scottsdale/Old Town and was quickly bombarded with comments about how unrealistic that is.
I now have a roommate I am searching for and I’m wondering if that makes things much easier. We are trying to stay under 2400$ a month for a 2bd apartment. Parking included and ideally furnished in the same area. The further north the better. Grayhawk area would be ideal.
The kicker is the increased short term lease for us. Anyone know of some nice places that work with you on a short term lease. We need a 7 month lease from October 15th to May 15th
I understand people like to get on edge when someone asks for something that might be unrealistic but I really don’t know? I’m used to paying 400$ for rent in Iowa so take it easy on me.
Location hasn't been announced yet but I think Scottsdale would be a great fit!
Is anyone else in North Scottsdale having major issues with Verizon today? I have been having connectivity issues all afternoon when I’m not on WiFi.
The other night just pasted dark someone came on my carport. Cut the chain on my bike that was wrapped around a pole and took it. If you see it let me know or call the police. If the police find it I will have to pay to get it back. If you let me know you find it I will come and identify it and give say $40 bucks as a reward and take it home.
Hello all. I am coming here to ask and see if anybody is hiring. I am a 35yr male, Assistant Manager at a storage facility.
I am looking for a company or person who needs a worker who just doesn't stop. A hard working, loyal, competitive person.
I am stuck at a dead end job, just got denied a raise after being here a year. It's time for something else. I am already searching on Indeed, CL, FB.
I am a people person, not a Debbie downer. I keep things neat and tidy, and not to toot my own horn but I work circles around the average person.
I want to be where hard work is appreciated. I want to EARN my keep which is why I work hard. But the place I'm at I can't move forward. I really really need someone's help, please. That's what it's coming down too I feel like, who you know.
I learn fast. I don't complain. I do my work.
I am NOT good at sales so that's out. I love helping people, that's what I really like. I do not know what I want to do, so if anyone knows someone here in Scottsdale, please message me. I could be a great Personal Assistant too if you need that even.
I have a resume and references if needed.
Thank you so much for reading, and taking the time to help me if you can. It's hard out here I just need that step in the door. Please!
I’m just moving to Scottsdale and wondering about trying booties to walk the furkid. Or even take her out to potty? It will be too hot outside for walks currently.
She is a 25 pound Boston Terrier and has never worn anything on her feet.
Thanks for your advice!
I’m looking for a cute/fancy restaurant in Scottsdale for dinner with a few friends. I want something pretty and special but not super expensive or fine dining around the price range of North Italia or The Henry.
I found Cala Scottsdale and love how it looks. Is it good? Is it reasonably priced, or is it actually pretty expensive/fancy? Also open to any other recommendations!
I am a remote worker looking for a short-term rental for less than 6 months as I don’t know how long I will be in the area. I will certainly rent for at least 2-3 months but no more than 6 months. I am looking for a 1 bedroom apartment or guest house (no shared living spaces). I prefer Old Town/ Fashion Square Mall area, but am ok with other parts of Scottsdale and the greater Phoenix metro area. The unit MUST have a washer/dryer, Wi-Fi and a bathtub. My budget is $1200-$1600. I am looking at August 29th onward.
I will be the only occupant of the property with no pets. I recently left civilian federal government service where I had a security clearance so I have a clean background. I am clean, quiet and laid back. If you have a property that aligns with what I am looking for, please let me know.
I’m excited
Does anyone have any apartment building recommendations for Scottsdale? I am really struggling to find a place. Ideally I would like a one bedroom for around $2000. I’d like to be nearish to fashion square or old town or whatever area the Fat Ox is in. I’ve read a lot of bad reviews for different buildings, so I just want to make sure I know what I’m getting myself into. Has anyone lived at the Lincoln?
I am thinking of moving from Buffalo, NY to Scottsdale, AZ. I find I am severely allergic to seasonal weather changes, and I actually get sick and stay in bed for 2 weeks.
I need to know what it is like to live in Scottsdale:
How is the healthcare?
How is the heat?
How is the traffic?
I would appreciate any information you can give me.
\"At Seventeen\" - By Janis Ian
I took this photo at 5:23 AM on July 30 while walking, listening to “At Seventeen” by Janis Ian. At McDowell Mountain Ranch
So last month they had a bunch of these at Walgreens and now they’re gone… Is there any available elsewhere nearby (maybe Walmart?) Has anyone seen any?
I am new to the region and building up/saving for a house. I want to purchase one in the more affluent areas. I grew up in the hoods near gangs and break-ins in the northeast and aspire to get away from that type of noise and chaos as I start a family.
Which part of the metro has quieter neighborhoods and more involved parents and active/fit neighborhood residents based in your time living around the towns of these places?
I am using affluence as the barometer for this and understand that the northern part of the metro has more amenities and more expensive zip codes which is why I labeled the title as such.
My budget for a house is 800k-1.5M
Thank you in advance.
Not Scottsdale, but right on the border. Is it true that Funky Frida’s on Indian School next to OHSO is closing? If so, that stinks. They had a great happy hour and the smash burger was fantastic. I hope they move the burger over to the OHSO menu. I guess it’s too hard/expensive to run two restaurants basically on the same property. One steals guests from the other.
I keep seeing people post about moving here, and everyone seems to focus on the home prices or the views. That is fine, but nobody talks about the actual daily trade-offs once you settle in.
I work in real estate, so I see the bills and the regret some people have after six months. If you move to North Scottsdale, you are close to the Quarter, Kierland, and the freeway access, but you are dealing with more traffic and a different pace. Move up to Carefree or Cave Creek, and your grocery run turns into a 25-minute trek, but you get actual space and, honestly, a much quieter vibe.
I have had clients move from the city to Carefree expecting a desert paradise, only to realize they hate the drive to get a decent coffee or handle any real shopping. On the flip side, I see people move into gated communities in North Scottsdale and feel like they are just in a bigger version of the neighborhood they left behind.
If you have made this move, did you regret the location choice after the first year? Is the extra 20 minutes of driving worth the quiet, or do you miss being five minutes from a Trader Joe's? how about the lack of sidewalks and places to walk your dog or go for a simple jog?
