Need advice on camping out for a concert!

So I am not from the area but will be flying out to go to a show at the WaMu theater in October. The tickets are only GA and I want to get front row or as close as possible which I know I would have to camp out for. Just looking for how early I should arrive and what I all need for the hours I’ll be standing there. I’ve heard of diapers? But I’m fairly social and know if I make friends I can have someone hold my spot. Any advice or tips are appreciated!

Looking for a couple bands

Aloha from Hawaii!

Our punk band Kauz of Affliction is doing a PNW run in October and we’re looking for some bands to fill the following bills with us at these PNW venues. If possible for some backline help that would be wonderful too.
We host bands in Hawaii from all over the world and would be happy to return the favor if you’re ever out that way.

Thur 10/8  Olympia-Le Voyeur
Sun 10/11 Everett-The Bayside

Thanks!!!

Outdoor all ages EDM?

Hi people of Seattle! Are there any outdoor all ages electronic music shows taking place this summer? Aside from certain acts at Bumbershoot, I am seeing many other outdoor EDM shows are either 21 or 18 plus (like Daytrip at Gasworks). The outdoor shows that are all ages seem to skew toward indie/rock (like ZooTunes, Marymoor, etc). Would love to dance to some beats with the kiddo under the sun this summer!

Heading to the Tame Impala concert (Sep 1) - looking for company!

Hi everyone! My boyfriend (30M) and I (18F) are heading to Seattle for the Tame Impala concert on September 1st. We'll be in town from Aug 30th to Sept 3rd, and we’d love to meet some cool people to hang out with.

We’re pretty chill and easygoing—not into extreme hiking or super intense activities. We’re much more into grabbing coffee, checking out local cafes, playing board and video games, or just wandering around the city.

We speak English, Russian, and Ukrainian, so if anyone wants to chat in any of these languages or just hang out, feel free to reach out! We’re just looking for some good company for fun time.

If you have any recommendations for local spots or want to meet up for a coffee, let us know!

Looking for Serious Band Members (Seattle Area) – Alternative Pop / Pop Rock / R&B / Indie

Hey! I’m a 25-year-old songwriter / lyricist based in Seattle & California currently building a serious band project from the ground up.

A bit about me: I currently work as a songwriter and lyricist with Sub Pop Records and also hold a songwriting contract with Virgin Music Group (not as an artist). Most of my work has been behind the scenes in songwriting, lyric writing, music production, and creative development.

Now, I’m looking to build a band with the right people, musicians who are passionate, committed, and serious about creating something meaningful together and musicians who have great ear on what sound amazing and what's not. And someone who know just what to put in and do not overplay.

I’d especially love to work with fresh faces and people around my age group (19–27) since I’m 25 myself. I think being in a similar stage of life helps a lot creatively, personally, and with long-term chemistry as a band.

I’ve been actively hunting for talent around Seattle, but I’ll be honest, it’s pretty rare finding people here who genuinely lean toward the pop side of music, especially with modern alternative influences. A lot of the local scene is heavier rock, punk, metal, grunge, or folk, so I’m hoping this reaches the right people.

I do already have a whole catalog/albums prepared, and would love to get your input too.

We will be writing original music. I do have my own recording / production studio. Rehearsal space for live performances. And have already tons of concepts prepared for it's sound, identity, brand and direction.

Genres / Sound:
- Alternative Pop
- Pop Rock
- R&B
- Indie Pop
- Alternative / Indie R&B
- Bedroom Pop

I am looking for someone who has has the same qualities on having emotional songwriting, strong melodies, atmospheric production, catchy hooks, and modern polished sounds.

Influences / Artists:

The 1975, The Band CAMINO, LANY, Lauv, Khalid, Paramore, One Ok Rock, IV of Spades, Kehlani, Joji, Malcolm Todd, Keshi, Daniel Caesar, etc. all artist that are on that realm and spectrum of genre.

Currently looking for:
- Lead Guitarist
- Bassist
- Drummer
- Keyboardist / Synth Player
- Vocalists (male or female)

What I value most:
- No ego / good attitude.
- Hell nah with drama.
- Reliable and communicative.
- Serious commitment.
- Creative openness.
- Desire to grow together and be close friends.

I don’t work well with people who are a conflict/drama magnet. I value playing more than talking.

You don’t need to be world-class, a virtuoso, or classically trained. I’m here to develop, guide, and grow with you too. Just have solid fundamentals, passion, discipline, songwriting discernment, and hunger to improve.

If this sounds like your vibe, then hit me up!
- Name / age
- Instrument
- Experience
- Musical influences
- Clips / demos (if available)

If you’re someone who wants to build something real, modern, and meaningful, not just jam casually, I’d love to connect. I'll pour all what I've got to you.

Looking to join a band in Seattle

I’m 22 f, and I’ve been playing bass for 3 years! I’m self taught but I practice every day and I love jamming with people. I mainly listen to hard rock, punk, shoegaze, etc. I was in a band for a bit before I moved back to Seattle but now I’m looking to keep that going. Message me if interested?
