Ten-foot bronze Lady Rainier created in Germany in 1903 for Seattle Brewing & Malting Company proudly stands outside old Rainier Brewery in Georgetown. Originally water bubbled out of chalice to look like beer foam, but fountain was turned off in 1916 due to Prohibition, never to be turned back on:
