I own and adore my norma Jean slip dress (the one with the stars!!) and I try to take the best care of it. my problem is: the dress smells a little sweaty and I’m afraid to put it in the washing machine. how do you clean your silk dresses?
Hi all! This finally came back in stock and what was left was size medium. It’s my dream wedding dress so I just pulled the trigger and got it🫣 I hover currently between a medium and large. I’m 5”7 and 160 lbs and my cup size is a 34 C. Does anyone know if this cut of dress runs small? My hesitation on the large was the bust. I’m so worried I should’ve gotten the large😭

I generally fit a small in Selkie, but I know this has an open lacing back like a Cupid and I wonder if sizing down would be better? I have a wide ribcage and lats from my build so the corset backs usually do better for me. The size chart is not always accurate for me 😅 I have a 35” bust and 28” waist
I have worn a XS Cupid and S Cupid and they fit, just that there is more gaping in the XS than S. I have also worn a M Cupid where I can pull the laces all the way closed. Does anyone have any insight/suggestions for me?
I'm going to a play in September and I've gotten really fixated on this dress, so I thought I'd see if I can snag one secondhand before I jump whole hog into paying full price. Tried to join the facebook group for secondhand selkie and for some reason all my posts are getting autodeleted, RIP.

This was my first time ordering from Selkie and I ordered a corset and dress with the latest Unicorn Defends Itself restock. I reached free shipping together. Waited a week and the corset shipped by itself from China and arrived. Then the next day I got a notification from my credit card I was refunded for the dress. Saw an email from Selkie saying they ran out of stock.
I went to check if they had the next size up I could order but both sizes were sold out. Checked a couple different back up styles, but nothing in stock that I wanted so I decided to just go back and sign up for restock alerts. Then I saw my size had one back in stock. I added it to my cart and went to check out but kept getting an error. I logged out, made a new account, and was able to check out with no issues.
Couple days later it shipped from California and I got the dress.
I'm happy it worked out, but it has left a weird taste in my mouth. Like they realized they messed up and did not want to pay for shipping twice on my order when they could get someone else to order it and then pay shipping. I was just lucky I saw it when it went back in stock on their website and thought to make a new account just to buy it. Has this happened to anyone else when part of their order was canceled?
i checked on poshmark/vinted/ebay, if you have anywhere else to look please let me know :)
