My 1st pair of Iron Heart 634's 21oz OD .

My 1st pair of Iron Heart 634's 21oz OD .
I’m starting my selvedge journey, and I want to be smart with my purchases.
I’ve watched videos and browsed this sub, and others, but I’m interested in knowing what you struggle with today and what you wish you knew earlier on?
For some background , I wear Naked and Famous easy guy fit.
The outseam on my new oni jeans shows if i stretch it a bit. If I do this near my knee or lower the thread disappears once there’s no tension but I think because the jeans are under frequent tension near my thighs (like when I sit and stuff) the thread is constantly out. Is this a sign of low durability? or what is going on here?
Hey everyone! Levi's put their 1953 type ii selvedge jacket on sale for 50% off and I'm hoping to get some help with sizing. I tried on the 42 and it fits like a glove, the 44 feels incredibly boxy. I bought both with the idea to return one but just want some advice. I'm worried that if the 42 shrinks at all then I'm screwed but also worried that the 44 won't shrink properly to fit like the 42. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
I Just bought these momotaro 400# wide and they are already ripping, what should i do 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Got these hemmed at Left Field, but I’ve never seen stitching this… tiny. I’m wondering if this will eventually unravel if the denim breaks underneath due to the seam holes being so close together.
Bought in Bangkok from Denim Bird (must visit).
15oz black selvedge denim / 16oz grey canvas / mustard herringbone wool jacket
Includes:
Motorcycle style collar, back shoulder gussets for added mobility, major seams are flat felled, buttonholes are hand-sewn, and everything is made with lots of love. I'm really happy with how this turned out
first pair of Fullcount 1101
Fullcount 1101ss
ass is super baggy it looks so silly I will probably just resell them because they are pretty much unwearable.
and I can't wash them because the length would probably shrink and then they wouldn't fit me anymore...
I don't know what I'm doing wrong, the back rise has a whole extra inch of fabric compared to my other jeans.
any help is much appreciated.
I would like to know if these are rare and vintage. From what I’ve found i think these are Big E and 501xx selvedge, and from the things I’ve heard on internet these could potentially be pretty old? V stitch , an R on the button on the inside, chain stitching on the botom leg inside and so on. They also have no care tag or so which i guess indicates that they are not from a newer remake either. Please help me out!
Bought this pair in 2023, but haven’t really worn them because i was fading another pair. This year, however, im determined to work on these, and have been wearing them regularly. Handwashed about 7 times. Going for vintage fade. Hidden rivets & arc slowly starting to come through. Excited to see these in 5-6washes.
What are you currently fading? 😎
I couldn't help but notice that the edge of the fabric is very neat compares to the other denim I have (picture 2), it doesn't fray or anything and the edge looks way neater than the other denims so I thought something must be different atleast, the width is abt 150cm. got it from a fabric store in old cairo.
planning to buy but it seems fake
~200 wears over the past 2 years and a handful of machine wash & dries. going for a vintage fade.
note: I removed the leather patch and the right back pocket stitching.
P3: streaky fade of the slubby fabric on the knee
P4: coin pocket fade and small hole
P5: cuff blowout and repair
P6: belt loop fade
Got these Bronson 1937 something or other jeans recently and I really like them but they’re a size 31.
While I like the oversized fit, I’d like to find a pair that fits around the waist better in a 30 or maybe 29.
Bronson is all out and I can’t find any more used although I did do a little digging and found some used Lee 1937 cowboy jeans but they’re all size 31 too! Anyone know of any alternatives? I really like the extended seam around the fly with the extra rivet, and the higher rise with the buckle in the back.
Any help would be much appreciated 🙏
I'm looking for a pair of wide/straight (preferably high-waisted) ecru jeans. I ordered a pair of Indigofera - Duke Smithson Canvas Ecru Rinsed 13oz in size 30/34, and they were absolutely perfect except that, unfortunately, they were 2 cm too short: ( Does anyone have any recommendations for jeans with a similar fit and color? I want a leg opening of 24–26 (48–52) cm, and it feels like all the options I’m looking at have a leg opening of 20–23 (40–46) for my waist size.
Thanks in advance!!

First of all, I love everything about these jeans. The fit, the fabric, the details, the finishing. The packaging and included dust bag and replacement rivets is a great touch. Very stiff and starchy out of the box, but after wear, they are starting to fit nicely.
The sashiko stitching and extra heavy weight denim is what led me to pick this pair out of the options from Simple & Raw (Thailand). The pocket bags and interior lining are also nice, and the contrast stitching is pretty excellent. The super thick veg tan leather patch is a really nice touch. There are fun details to discover throughout.
Fades are just starting to develop after about three months worth of wear.
This pair just showed up today. A very simple design compared to some of the other offerings of Simple & Raw, but I'm equally impressed with the styling and quality of fabric and construction. The white-line selvedge feels like a subtle call-back to earlier eras, and the simplicity and stripped-down waistband details recreate the original aesthetic of the OG-107, but in selvedge denim.
I'll be posting some updates on break-in after a few wears.
Earlier this week I got a pair of Oni 200 in size 34 because that is the size that best fit my waist based on the measurements. The thighs are a little tight and I see that being a problem as I put on more weight. I absolutely love these jeans and they are the best jeans I have ever seen or bought but wish I had got a size 36. Please dm me if you have a size 36 that you would like to trade for my size 34. I can also send more pics of measurements or videos if you would like. If anyone is interested in buying I would do $275 plus shipping within the US just so I can buy a size 36 without losing too much money. Retail was $330. Only tried on once. Brand new condition.
Waist is exactly 17 inches flat.
