Tried keyframes for the first time since early NYC builds, hard to do something clean, only the last shot was made with thoses keyframes, I'll work on it for the next one.

My First Session Edit (Be Gentle) 😅✌️

New player here! I finished the missions last night, and was finally able to start what I consider "the real game" today. haha.

Here is my "first day" edit. lol. Only a few tricks, and they could have been much cleaner, but I'm actually starting to get comfortable with the replay editor now. (I wish I would have re-shot that off-centered Darkslide though!) 😭

My plan is to put together an edit once a week or so to track my progress. I think I'll keep each video between 0:45 & 1:30, and only feature 1 general location per edit.

Let me know if you have any tips, advice, or thoughts!

I'm playing with manual catch, but I freely adjust the "advanced" settings to each specific line / obstacle / task I'm practicing. The goal is to achieve your task with as little pop as possible right? Feels more stylish? I'm also learning that time of day and supplemental lighting are crucial for good footage.

Where can I learn more about session / skateboard videography? My end-goal is to make these clips feel hyper realistic. There are various styles I want to learn: Old-school & gritty "low budget" follow lines with a fisheye. Head-Cam POV shots. High budget "cinematic" dolly shots. Etc...

What real skate videos have the best videography in your opinion? Any tips on how to make tricks in-game look more stylish & realistic? I would appreciate any pointers you can give!

Anyone know of an 11 part, 6 hour YouTube series on making Session videos? lmfao.

I get it now.

I'm 37. I grew up on X-Games & THPS. When the original Skate came out on X-Box 360, I was instantly hooked. I've been playing Skate 4 over the last few months, and honestly thought I would be playing it indefinitely... Then I downloaded Session a few days ago... Jesus Christ. I finally finished all of the main missions today. This whole concept of full control and manual catch actually makes virtual skating exciting. I fall more than I ride away, but so does Nyjah Houston right? Every successful trick actually feels meaningful. Most of my bag looks terrible at the moment, but I'm excited to hone my skills both on the board, and behind the camera. I finally got pretty decent with the replay editor in Skate, but this new system is definitely gonna take some time to get used to. Any chance they'll make Session 2: This Time We Added Grabs? Haha.

Glitch i found to get everywhere

So basically my little brother was playing and he found out that by going into the object dropper and standing onto something you dropped and then moving it, you still stay on top of it. So he used this to get on top of buildings and get crazy air. I don't know if this has already been posted, but it's kind of a funny glitch to mess around with.
