Does Applying early actually help with chances, or is it just to pick schools.

Should I early apply with my ehh 9th grade report card, or do normal apps w my first mid term gr10?

My midterm comes AFTER the early apps date and I think it'll be pretty good and I emailed them asking what to do for early apps and they said just send 9th grade which in second semester I got Math: 98 Gym:89 Science:88 and Tech:87
