I have been rewatching SLF with a friend and decided to pair it with Bofuri and my mind has been comparing Maple and Sunraku, SLF and New World Online, and other stuff. Anyway I know this might be a biased place to ask but I am curious for those who have seen both who you think would win. (I am hedging my bets on what counts as spoilers so just know I tried to outline the upper strength of both at episode 12 of each show since that is how far I am in my rewatch)

Meanwhile Sunraku has almost or just hit LV 50, hasnt made combo skills, and is about to face off against Wethermon the Tombguard. Ideally I think Id pitch this fight as just after the fight because Sunraku gets a bunch of buffs and equipment.!<
I think Maple might have more abilities and raw power but Sunraku is a true gamer, does his combat IQ and luck based crits break Maple? >!Can she throw him off using Machine God or Abomination?!<

Been always thinking that this gatekeeping elements of this series Is kinda ridiculous and hardcore because you literally need to sell each other out, blackmail each other out or sell the info at ridiculous amount of money to get even a glimpse of clue of this crucial info/events, so I always wonder is there actually a game like this irl.

Each of the "5 Great Swords" is associated with a Colossi, with the exceptions of Wezaemon and Orchestra.
When it first appeared in the manga, WeissAsh had temporarily entrusted it to Edward.

If a player possesses Siegwurm's horn , they can wear it as an accessory; a Mana horn will appear on their head.
However, its true value is that it is a " Unique Material " (the rarest materials, with extremely limited quantities). Using it can craft a Unique Item or upgrade a regular Weapon to a Unique Rank (but it will not be considered "True Unique" as it wasn't unique from the start).

Just started watching this! The dialogue is so loose, I enjoy it haha. I also recognized some of the voices and found out who the voice actors also do. All I hear is Sanji now 😂 and that first episode with the game shop owner, ugh Robin my fave. Kinda funny that I just hear Sanji and the main character has headgear so it might as well be him 😂😂
Anyway, not sure what to expect in this anime but I think it’ll be a fun watch!

Speaking of Kyotimate I was reminded of another bum, a bigger one at that who was simply there to fill gaps like genuinely. Wasn't this dude supposed to be the best after Sylvi??? He already deviced counter measures for Pencilgon??? No he was out in 2 seconds flat. Unlike Kyotimate he didn't carry aura at all so I thought it was gonna be like, the character that doesn't look impressive is actually cracked but nope he's exactly as he was introduced, a filler character.
This genuinely had me laughing like this author I'm never trusting his ass again when he hypes up someone(apart from the Collosi, well they're not players). They have to deliver first before I trust them.
I mean it was already well known but this guy really hammers home the fact that they genuinely getting hard carried by Sylvi, you can partner Sylvi up with rookie(actual rookies not our resident rookies) or literally any random people picked off the street and they'd immediately become the top team ong.
Sorry Kyotimate, but the spot besides Pencilgon's brother has found a much worthier successor.

This shawty was introduced with so much aura. Crazy blood hungry chick with sick ass design into PvP, well forgive me for thinking she'd give Sunraku a run for his money. First over lvl 99 player we see has hella martial arts skills(amd we were baited into thinking she easily beat AI Fugaku while Sunraku was getting whooped) so I thought she was the shit. Well first PvP, comes around, the same PvP SHE CONSTANTLY GOES OUT OF HER WAY FOR, she goes out out hella sorry after showing a sorry ass performance. After standing a d aura farming like she could take out every in seconds so they gotta out her ass on a leash, after choosing such a bum name like "Kyo the Ultimate". I was even worried she might take Psyger 100 out before Sunraku got to fight cause I really wanted to see Sunraku do PvP in SLF. She's so much of a bum she made my wish come true(Psyger 100 was tougher than I thought ngl, doesn't excuse her plot armor or Kyotibum's bumness).
I wonder why such a bum was even introduced with such aura like genuinely who are you??? Just gonna shove her in the corner with Pencilgon's brother where she'll feel at home.
(Ngl I like her personality and vibe but such bumness can't be forgiven)

No one is interested in watching an anime about some average gamer, that's what streamers are for. Even with that there are a lot of players that match up and straight up better.
