r/Share_Plex

I’ve been on a share plex server for a while but it’s been having consistent streaming problems despite trying a dozen different solutions. The owner of the plex server assured me the problem is on his end and he’s fixing it but it has just gotten worse over the past month. I even, following their advice, bought a new streaming box to try to fix the problem. I appreciate all the efforts he’s put in but I’ve grown impatient.

That being said, I’m looking for a server with 2 things:

1)Less connection/streaming issues.

2)An easy way to make custom requests for shows/movies (or if you have an enormous library of movies/shows that’s good too.)

Willing to pay whatever fee you think is fair for this!

Thanks so much in advance for anyone kind enough to consider adding me to their plex server :)

Edit: I’ve only been on one plex server ever, so I apologize if this post comes off ignorant or ungrateful. If it’s normal to have consistent issues on Plex servers, I did not know that. If I see enough comments mentioning that I’ll happily delete the post.

Looking for some Help, I really want to build a Plex server but have no idea where to start. I've been building computers for a while so thats not a problem.

What i really need to know is

1: What hardware do i need nothing to expensive but not cheap either.

2: The BIG one, what software do you guys recomend.

If anyone has a good link to a video On YouTube to help me start i would really appreciated.

Hi all, looking for someone who is willing to host a new friend on their server. I live in New Zealand and I like all sorts of TV and movie shows... I'm not fussy at all 🙏🏽

In saying this I'm also happy to join one who is not in New Zealand... I just assumed for connecting purposes NZ would be better? Sorry new to plex so not sure if this is true... Just reading of peoples comments in threads.

If anyone could take me on that would be appreciated 😊

Looking for some individuals open to me joining their server, I was grateful to be a part of a free trial of someone’s server months ago and cannot find their info for the life of me to maybe sign up for a paid membership. I have fallen in love with the platform and eventually would love to support someone monetarily for their server offerings. 🫶🏻

I have some free slots coming up very soon for grabs. It’s all selected at random by my AI so please don’t inbox me or comment to be added because I will ignore the messages.

I’m also working on a free access Plex server that is due to go live very soon. You will have to maintain a certain community level to keep your access alive. I will make the announcement once it’s completed.

I also have donations membership where you can gain 6 months, 1 year or lifetime access. Duo & family too. Alongside a 7 day trial to test beforehand.
