I'm a woman looking to meet other women between 25-35 who enjoy cycling, outdoor activities, books, and other hobbies.
After maybe 10 years! The park was inaugurated today🤲😅😋 i have seen every possible development occurred on this space since the 90s..
One excellent thing they did was making it free to enter FROM ALL SIDES unlike the previous park where u need to go all the way to the left side 🤦
Avoid leaving pressurised items such as lighters, perfumes, or fizzy drinks in your car, especially during summer, as heat may cause them to explode.
Hi I'm 22f looking to connect with other girls around my age in Sharjah, preferably in tawun/qasba/majaz/mamzar/alkhan areas. Would love to hang out in cafes or go to bookshops or just study/work together or even go for walks in the corniche though not in the current weather 😭 so hard to make friends here 😭
Please don't text me if you're a guy, you guys are disgusting texting me right after posting lol
Hi everyone, I’m really stressed and honestly don’t know what to do anymore.
I was suddenly terminated on Dec 15. No warning, no explanation . I just went to work like a normal day and got called in and told I was terminated. I was completely shocked and couldn’t process it.
Instead of reacting badly, I stayed calm and called MOHRE for advice. Then I went to HR and asked for my back pay, including 1 month notice pay, and a copy of my termination letter. They refused at first and told me to sign papers before they would give anything. I literally called MOHRE in front of them, only then they got scared and emailed me the termination letter.
After that, I tried to negotiate. I told them if they don’t want to pay my 1 month notice, then at least don’t cancel my visa yet so I can find a new job. I requested 4–6 months. They never replied, so I followed up.
When I went back to the office (as they asked), they suddenly told me they filed an absconding case against me. I was shocked again. Like seriously… after everything?!
Long story short , I fought the case and I WON. It’s approved by MOHRE and I have the official papers.
But now the main problem: they STILL haven’t paid my salary and dues. I don’t understand what’s wrong with this company.
I’ve already filed a case in court and it’s ongoing. I honestly don’t know what else to do at this point.
Also, they are still holding my passport.
Has anyone experienced something like this in the UAE? What should I expect next or what else can I do?
At this point, I’m just hoping karma does its job.

Hi
I have a car which wasnt used , its engine was dead. So it sat in a sandy parking lot for a while, I had it washed and looked after but the registration expired after sometime.
One day I was told the car was taken away by a recovery. I went to check with the police they said they did not have it. I got busy with other things and did not look for the car, It was fully depreciated. Now I am out of town and I get a message after many months that the car is confiscated at Sharjah Traffic Department and that the impound period will end in 3 weeks and late fees applies if I don't visit on time.
Any advise what my course of action need to be? The car is sunken cost its a heavy paperweight right now and I cant imagine travelling just for the car.
Thanks

Yesterday I matched with a guy on Muzz and I honestly want to warn other women to be careful.
Profile details:
Name on profile: “Dr AR”
Age: 33
Claims:
- Born in the UK and raised in the UAE
- Mallu
- Studied MBBS in Manipal University Bangalore
- Said he works in medical import business now
- Mentioned his sister lives in the UK
We had only texted briefly yesterday. He even called for 2 minutes just to “check if I was real and not a bot” and disconnected.
This morning he asked which area I stay in. I said Al Qasimia and gave only a nearby location, not exact details. Around 1:30 PM he suddenly called me through Muzz and said he was downstairs near my building. I was shocked because I never invited him and we had not even exchanged phone numbers.
When we met downstairs, the first thing he asked was whether he could use my washroom. I said no men enter my apartment except family and suggested using the security washroom downstairs instead. He kept insisting.
Then the conversation became extremely uncomfortable. He started making personal comments about my appearance and asked inappropriate questions about my private life, salary, and other things I clearly said I was uncomfortable answering.
His behaviour became aggressive and disrespectful after that. I told him to leave and reminded him we were outside in public. He left immediately and blocked me on Muzz before I even reached back upstairs.
I’m posting this because the entire situation felt unsafe and manipulative. Please be careful about sharing your location with strangers from apps, even casually.
If anyone else has experienced similar behaviour from this profile/person, please stay alert.
I failed my 2nd road test today. What should I do. I always make some mistake
I’m 22 I have straight hair and I never really had that go to “barber” and my haircuts have been pretty mid. My hair medium length and is on the flat and straight/slightly wavy side so I’m looking to layer my hair and I want someone/someplace who can do it well. Whenever I tell the barbers can you layer it they just cut it normally I don’t really see a difference also not looking for fades etc
Any recommendations? Not too expensive haha don’t wanna spend like a 100 on a haircut
Tomorrow will be the first time 1 go to Dubai after getting my license, specifically Dubai Hills. I will be going from Shariah and am not the best at using maps. Which one would be better? I need one that savs which lane to stay in and is detailed. And shows apeed limits
Best second area option to pick if you stay in Al Majaz 2
I was thinking near Matajer Al khan - do you guys know if it comes under Al Khan 1 or Al khan 2 while subscribing?
Thank you in advance ! 🙏🏻

Hey guys, I'm 20F and currently making about 11-16k dhs per month, up to 18k a month (good months), as a freelancer.
I'd love to move out from my parents' home by next year, since currently, I'm still sharing a room with my little sister and would love to have my own space.
I wanted to move to Maryam Island and get a studio apartment there. My overall goal is to move out and not stress financially.
As of right now, my monthly expenses come out to 2.7k dhs per month & I only have about 30k dhs saved up.
Let's say I get a studio or 1 bedroom apartment and all I do is work at home, go to the gym, eat meals at home for most days of the week, and don't go shopping or anything:
- Is 11k-16k dhs per month enough?
- And how much should I save up before moving out?
Hi, I often feed a stray tuxedo cat and was wondering if somebody can give this cat medical care for slashed jaw. I live in sharjah muwailah, a neaby vet or on-site collection would help immensely. Thanks!
