Meraki Resort

Hi everyone,
We're traveling from Europe to the Meraki Resort - Adults Only during the last week of November. We’re young adults in our twenties, and we’d love to party and enjoy delicious food and drinks. Will anyone be staying at this resort that week? If you’ve stayed there before, could you send us some photos about the hotel, foods, etc. and share your thoughts? This is our first trip to Sharm, so we’d appreciate any advice 🥰

Looking for a female partner/buddy for Cairo nightlife & dance clubs

Hey everyone,

I’m visiting Cairo and sharm al shaikh for the next 3 weeks and looking to experience the local nightlife, specifically dance clubs and social outings. Going solo to dance venues isn't quite as fun, so I’d love to find a female partner or a small group of open-minded people to explore the city's nightlife together.

A bit about me:

Respectful, fun-loving, and relaxed traveler.

Big fan of music and dancing (down for everything from house/electronic to upbeat social venues).

Up for grabbing a drink/bite first to chat and make sure the vibe is right before heading out.

What I’m looking for:

Someone who enjoys dancing and going out in Cairo.

Safety-conscious, good energy, and comfortable navigating the nightlife scene.

Completely platonic and relaxed vibes—just standard social fun.

If you’re free over the next few weeks and interested in checking out some spots together (or if you already know the best clubs in town!), send me a DM with a bit about yourself.

Looking forward to connecting!

Help choosing a Sharm El Sheikh resort

Hi everyone,
I'm planning a trip to Sharm El Sheikh in December and I need some real, honest advice from people who have stayed at these resorts recently.
My top two priorities are:

  1. Food Quality: Good quality ingredients, hygienic, varied dining (preferably decent à la carte options, vegetarian-friendly, and a reliable buffet that doesn't feel like a mass-catering cafeteria).
  2. Easy Sea Access: A true walk-in, sandy beach entry where you can actually walk in on smooth sand and swim directly from the shore without stepping on dead coral/rocks and without having to rely solely on a long pontoon/jetty.
I am currently looking at these properties:
    Mövenpick Resort Sharm El Sheikh
    Sentido / Reef Oasis
    Jaz Fanara Resort
    Park Regency (ex-Hyatt)
Novotel Sharm El Sheikh (Beach Side)
    I've heard mixed reviews:
Some say Mövenpick has the best walk-in sandy coves, but that the buffet food is mediocre. Is the food really that bad, or do the à la carte restaurants save it?
I know Jaz Fanara and Reef Oasis are in the same bay (Ras Um Sid), but how is the shore entry at Reef Oasis compared to Jaz? Do you have to use the pontoon at Reef Oasis just to swim?
Is Park Regency purely a pontoon-only entry for swimming?
How does Novotel Beach rank for food compared to the others?
Which of these would offer the best balance of genuinely good food and a seamless, walk-in sandy beach?
Thanks in advance for the insights!

Advice Sharm in december

Good morning everybody!! After 15 year i will be back in egypt and i am very happy about it! The firm time i went in berenice but this time i choose something easier because we will be just 1 week. We will be at the sentido beach resort (after a lot of research for the best windless spot) but we will be one day in ras mohamed (if wind will allow us) as well and i would like to ask some advice about that

  1. it really seems overcrowded with the classic boat excursions and i am not interested at all in the sand baech, so i was wondering if maybe the other tour (with the crack and mangrovies) is better in less people, better spots, and more time spent in actaually
snorkel or at this point is better to rent a taxi and let him wait for us 3/4 hours. If you have any advice of
tour operators would be also really appreciated

  2. same advice needed for the sunrise/sunset quad tour, i remember that 15 years ago there were only the 2 of us in the whole desert and it was fantastic, so if you also have advice on this tour (less crowded, really small group, not fake bedouin tea and things like that) i would really be grateful ahah

  3. A shorty wetsuit 3mm will be enough to stay in the water in december or i need a long one?

Thanks a lot for all the advice☺️☺️
