3 Scrolls of Upgrade on floor 3??

I have mostly played with Huntress, but have finally ascended with the amulet. Now I’m trying some different classes. Is this normal for warrior?

Edit: BY floor 3. All 3 weren’t on the same floor.

Why does Chaotic Censer always do storm clouds

I'm playing Warden, stop destroying all my fucking grass, do something else!!!! It just keeps doing storm clouds over and over, I'm running out of places to RoW farm 💔

Advice?

Hi there, my first time having such a strong run, I've made it to the demon halls before, but normally without much good equipment, so I just wanted to get some advice on what would be the best heroic armour and upgrade choices, I've been trying to get decent armor for several levels but plain scale armour was the best I got. Even the blacksmith wasn't any help.

My Warrior mastery/comfort guide and tips and tricks, shown through my first attempt at the doom slayer achievement

The warrior is often misunderstood on how to use him, and I see a lot of people overthinking how to play him and that its difficult

I really disagree and think he trivializes the whole game even up to 7c EXCEPT if you use Fima + barren / pharmacophobia (or both) which a lot of his advantage is lost. Even then i am relatively comfortable at 8c playing a tank playstyle with him.

First trick is basics: Warrior can transfer one SoU through his broken seal so the moment you have a SoU, USE ONE! +1 Armor immediately makes the sewers comfortable and +1 leather makes it completely safe. This scales all the way to the endgame where the warrior is able to equip armors one strength tier earlier at worst and in reality two strength tier earlier often, up to 3 once you unlock subclass berserker or gladiator

You can find a +1-2 scale and instant win the game functionally since its an easy +3 whereas +6 scale is enough for the endgame and making it safe. That said, the warrior has the easiest time using armors and have no reason not to scale to plate armor.

Second trick: believe in the armor identification talent and food talent. Food talent is a LOT of saved food and HP early on and adds unbelievable value early on, and especially helps with the On Diet challenge.

Armor identification is AMAZING with the blacksmith and by the time you make it to the blacksmith you always want 2-3 copies of identified scale or plate. Hell, if you find a natural +2-3 chainmail and have an extra 2 identified copies you can end the game with a +10 chainmail and it'll still be comfortable.

The best part about this talent is once youve found your endgame armor you can use Scroll of Metamorphosis to morph it which makes it two skills worth of value. Skills that provide shielding are ideal since it has inherent amazing warrior synergy.

Third trick: Potion of divine inspiration is paramount for his tier 2s! Make sure to find/alchemize potion of experience into the upgrade.

EARLY GLYPHS! Warrior has absurdly op tier 2 talents and bar none for tier 2 talents I unironically believe he has the strongest/highest value and hardest to decide tier 2 talents. Blind is amazing. Runick transference is amazing. Food for one turn is situationally incredible and always good value to put 1 poiny into it and can save you from lethal scenarios. Lethal momentun makes damage augment a non choice. Liquid willpower is so much HP value over a whole run and is bar none the best defensive skill imo with how you SHOULD spam.and abuse alchemy and potions.

Continued tricks from his tier 2s:

Lethal momentum means Damage augment and any good amount of upgrades on any endgame weapon will oneshot an enemy and make the downside for damage augment irrelevant. It lets you insta clear waves of many enemies since the lower speed is nullified on any kills. That and his naturally amazing armor can just tank hits no issue. Works especially great if you have a Ring of Accuracy to make this much safer, and works even better with kinetic.

Runick transference means you can spam glyphs early on instead of saving your glyphs for your late game armor. Just roll away immediately and look for anti magic and/or thorns. Both of these truly trivialize the game.

Brimstone is also a damn good glyph and if you want mobility haste is also great. Even better, gylphs on seals means you can **detach the glyph** and then reaffix it in place once you are done upgrading it. This means that for armor there is a non issue of upgrading your armor vs the risk of losing a powerful armor glyph!

Iron stomach lets you parry lethal turns, most relevantly every time you see a beholder/evil eye blast its beam at you- eating food will nullify the damage.

Now for a general trick to post into how to make the armor and weapon in the picture:

now,

  1. Put a SoU into your cloth armor

  2. Find a leather armor or upgraded chainmail from the spooky ghost quest. Transfer your seal into it when able.

2a. At this step, feel free to grab any glyph and use it until you rolled your desire glyph! I got a Glyph of thorns at this stage and easily beat prison with a defense augmented +2 chain mail of thorns. MAKE SURE TO PUT POINTS INTO RUNICK TRANSFERENCE IF YOU GOT THE DESIRED GLYPH!

Powerful glyph i.e Anti magic, thorns: 2 points into the skill. Normal glyph i.e brimstone, haste only needs 1.

  1. Grab a lot of Scroll of remove curses and make sure you level the armor identification akill.

  2. Find and identify (by wearing) all the plate armors or scale armors you can find. You only need +2 chain and 2 copies, or +1 scale and 1-2 copies, or ideally +1 plate (or even +2) and 1-2 copies and you already won the game the moment you reach the blacksmith.

  3. Find the blacksmith and do his quest. SAVE A SCROLL OF MAGIC MAPPING. It will make this much easier and comfy to do. Kill whoever is the target and get 40 golden ore ingots, some players try to find more- You dont need to!!!!

  4. Use the blacksmith to optimally obtain +3 SoU worth! Upgrade a +1 item you want, be it armor, ring or wand. In my case I used it in +1 crossbow. Then, you REFORGE! I had a +2 plate armor and had 2 identified copies. In this case i used both reforges on plate armor and got it to +4.

Thats a total of 3000 points. 1000 for upgrade, 500 for reforge 1, 1500 for reforge 2, total +3 SoU.

  1. After fighting dm-300, use its shard + curse remove scroll to create cursed infusion. This is TECHNICALLY optional but the value is insane and imo you should always have one cursed equipment optimally cursed weapon. The value is too good to pass up since its usually worth +2-+4 upgrades and many curses are beneficial.

  2. Use cursed infusion on +8 weapon.. crossbow on this run until you roll a desired curse, I wanted displacement or explosive or annoying. This turns the crossbow into a +10 crossbow with explosive.

8a. Explosion damage is mostly irrelevant with my high upgraded plate and the crossbow bolts makes the bolts explosive. Also warrior's and duelists tier 4 skill Shockwave both can utilize enchantments AND curses. ANNOYING CURSE + duelist shockwave = Scroll of Rage. Explosive + warrior shockwave = exploding wave, amazing for wave clears.

  1. Congrats. You have a +10 explosive crossbow and +6 and above plate armor of thorns. You also get 8 of those levels for free. +2 naturally found, +2 from cursed infusion, +3 from troll blacksmith. You have won the run.

10.When upgrading the armor dont forget to DETACH the seal first and then return it after done. When upgrading weapon already with cursed infusion make sure to use STABLE UPGRADE by alchemizing a SoU, which safely keeps the Cursed Infusion upgrade. Also, the crossbow is safe from TRAP OF DISARMING and used to help you vs the pixel dungeon monks which disarmed you. Once you use stable infusion this is no longer true so beware!

  1. Beat dwarf king and grab a desired skill. I had a Boots of nature with haste and had enough mobility, so I went for Shockwave- especially BECAUSE i had EXPLOSIVE curse on my crossbow. You've won!

11a. Grab a stone of augmentation- with warrior 99% of the time you go damage augment with lethal momentum and go defense augment to push rhe defense into the next upgrade tier.

Now name it something cool! Crowned Aegis and Hrunting is done.

And thats how I beat doom slayer Yog on my first ever doomslayer attempt on mobile fairly easily.

I became so fast the game broke lmao

So I stacked my speed to the point where I'm pretty sure the game rounded the time it takes for me to move 1 tile down to zero turns. Because, the animation for turns passing is bugged; it looks like I'm moving at regular speed but no turns are passing at all

Any tips for the pacifist ascension?

I tried it once and one of the ripper demons just jumped down a chasm before I could make it sleep.

I got anti magic on my armor with ring of arcana so I don't take any magic damage.

I decided to use the ring of might for extra health and just use the mystical energy scrolls for artifact recharging

I also got fadeleaf on my boots and will use those during the ascend

15000% enchantment power. What do I do with it?

Ok so I just cashed out on my RoW run and got this roll. I have infinite enchantment stones so no worries there; with my lucky weapon, every enemy drops either a transmutation scroll, an exp pot, or an enchantment stone.

What enchants should I get for my weapon (not the lucky one, another level 10 one that currently has corrupting), my armor (currently stone, I take no damage ever but kinda boring), and my bow (currently chilling)?

I want somethin that makes full use of the 150x increase, if possible

Edit: Lmao my chilling bow slows them for 280 turns

Edit 2: Ok so after much deliberation and rerrolling I landed on projecting for the bow, three sets of +10 tier 5 weapons with lucky, vampiric and grim (that sh*t insta kills everything, it's crazy, even Yog and the fists got rekt) and two armor sets; swiftness for movement and anti-magic for battles. Unfortunately I just couldn't find thorns, so I eventually got bored and decided to call it.

Hey guys, im trying to run 6 chal Huntress, and i cant seem to get out of the sewers at all. I know its a learning process, it feels like im learning the game from scratch with all the additional challenges. But im hoping you guys can give some tips on any way to make the early game easier?

My selected challenges are swarm intelligence, pharmacophobia, badder bosses, hostile champions, into darkness and on diet. Is there an easier configuration to run?

I think my main issue is beating Goo right now. With badder bosses, its a lot harder to beat him, never mind trying to do the achievement where he doesn't hit a charge attack, or heals at all.

Another question I had is how many boss achievements( like Spotless Victory, Gotcha, No Weapons in his presence) do I need to get 1 million points? Im gonna try to farm as many achievements as I can on the way down, but im wondering if ill need the boss achievements as well to guarantee 1 million points. Any help at all with the run would be appreciated

Does a +7 RoH do anything?

Im not good at the game but I enjoy it and this is my best run yet with any challenges at all, and I kinda just really don't want to die, so my question is do I put another SoU into the RoH or should I keep it at +6?

I've put all of my SoU from Sewers and Prisons into it because ik it can get OP and I was hoping it would carry Fima.

Fyi: I've gone sniper and probably going to augment my bow with damage.

If I keep it at plus 6 what else should I be looking to put my SoUs into as well? Mail armour of swiftness or try find a tier 5 weapon?

On top of all that any other tips or tricks for my run?

Holy potions...

This genuinely a ridiculous amount of potions for so early in a run.

I got a a blazing scitimar so idk if i should keep the brimstone armor bc of the fire resistance or the anti magic armor bc of the general resistance, im in floor 12

9 chal warrior dwarven city

I tried warrior 9 chal, and ts is genuinely torture. How do I deal with ranged enemies when I only have a piddly captain America ahh blinding skill. whenever I see a warlock and I cant run I legit toss the round shield at them but due to the cool down I get zapped a bunch. Any tips for dwarven halls?
