My growing bat woke up. I can’t get it back in containment so I need to kill it. First attempt didn’t go well

Alright everyone, it's the 28th and we've finally finished with the regular potions! For some reason, this section was stressing me out a bit since some had no participation and others had tons XD

I want you to vote, the next category we'll "talk about" will be:

  1. Exotic Scrolls

  2. Exotic Potions/Elixirs/Infusions (all 3 together)

  3. Miscellaneous XD

Attempt two

Apparently I left a mirror image or something out there and it healed the bat? The damn thing sensed me and turned around

Sandals of nature and Sungrass

It's my first time I'm fighting yog with 9chals and don't want to do any too much of stupid mistakes.

I have feed Sungrass to my boots. But I haven't used this combination in a while.

If I'm not a warden, can I move after rooting it, or will I lose the healing once I move?

Taking the Mick was not as hard as I was expecting

I thought it would be much more challenging but the pickaxe upgrades make it quite strong.

Took me around 10 runs with huntress.

The hardest part was to get to the troll blacksmith. After that you have a reliable melee too so it was easier.

Guys I think I owe them something

All my thrown weapoms broke and I had nothing to hit anyone with but a greatshield so I just died soon after, in front of the imp.

Genuine Question: Shouldn't these be percents rather that flat damage?

I'm no math expert by any means and I'm sure the dev has thought of this, but shouldn't these kinds of upgrades be a percent of your total damage? If it was a lower percent (maybe around 5-10%) wouldn't it amount to a similar amount of damage in the early game anyway and scale better late game? Can someone smarter than me explain why this isn't the case?

Let's talk about the item! Day 27(92) potion of experience! Hablemos del item! Dia 27(92)! Pocion de experiencia!

Day 27, we're finally done with the regular potions! Hahaha, it felt like a long post. I'll probably talk about the different variations of each potion in the same post to save time compared to infusions, elixirs, and exotic potions. Haha.

Anyway, today we're talking about the rarest and most useful potion in this game: the experience potion. This potion automatically levels you up by 1 when you drink it, and it's the "only" way to reach level 30 before fighting Yog (you can also do it with star fruit).

Its exotic version, instead of leveling you up, allows you to add 2 talent points to any talent tier you want, whether it's T1, T2, T3, or T4. But only once per tier!

This potion has about a 50% chance of being obtainable in the "3 Crystal Keys" room. In that room, you can get either this potion or a transmutation scroll. They aren't always guaranteed; usually, you get one of each, but both can appear at the same time, and you can take whichever one suits you best (or both if you have the Skeleton Key upgraded to at least +5).

That's all! Let me know what you think! What do you think of this potion?

Tips for +20 pickaxe badge

Tips for the +20 pickaxe run?

I got a really solid +3 Assassin Blade (blaze) and a +3 mail armor from random drops in this run before caves (sub depth 10). I replaced the +3 mail for +2 plate at Metropolis.

My perception is that pickaxes precison is terrible, I couldn't hit consistently even with a +14, although its damage was higher already than the axe and assassins blade. Using the +3 Assassins Blade and abusing unaware enemies was more consistent than the pickaxe itself.

The biggest problem was, mobs in Metropolis were hitting like trucks. The +2 plate was far from tanking monks and even ghouls... they were dealing way too much damage.

Maybe should i dump 1 or 2 SoU into plate? I didnt do it because i was afraid i couldnt get +18 pickaxe before curse infusion.

What could i have done differently?

tips?

I'm already in the city of the dwarves with the assassin, I'd like to know what I need to do from here to finish this game.
