Sorry just venting. As a DD the line/seam/whatever it’s called is not below them. It kinda cuts across the breasts in an ugly weird looking way.

Seriously, past few years like 90% of cute tops and dresses have them. It sucks!

Wish the curvy option actually was for curvy build, but it’s just another way to say plus sized :/

I’m not ungrateful for having larger breasts, they come with their perks, but it bums me out that fashion is harder:/

I spent most of my teen and young adult years buying things second hand or really, really lately from first hand stores because I never had much money and I wanted to do something good for the environment and the people forced to work into sweatshops. I feel like an hypocrite by advertising for their rights while I also buy the things they were forced to make.

Unfortunately second-hand stores are now not affordable and don't show the tags anymore, second-hand apps like vinted and depop are just resellers and dropshippers and small business charge 100 bucks for a pair of jeans that will wash off in two days.

As a last resource to get clothes (I would buy like 2 times a year), I was thinking of going to shein due to the cheap prices (Yes I knkw about the tariffs, but it's still cheaper than some places around here!) and the pretty visuals, but I'm concerned about the quality. Most of it is polyester or it's not mentioned and the reviews are probably bots. I have a really sensitive skin and I am also plus-size, so I can't afford shrinkage or breakouts.

Is there any way I can find high-quality shops on shein, or small business that don't use sweatshops?

I have tried anything, from looking into the searchbar to using external links, but nothing seems to work past the first 1/2 items that won't even fit me.

I’ve used SHEIN for years. Most of what I own is from SHEIN.

One day I was leaving reviews on products I had previously purchased to gain points… nearly all my reviews were positive except for one. I left a poor review (3 star so not even that bad) on sandals I bought that broke immediately upon putting them on.

A few hours after leaving this review I was no longer allowed to make purchases on SHEIN.

Apparently, I was banned to help ensure the ‘safety and security’ of their users.

Because I left an honest review???

I tried creating a new account under another email address and somehow SHEIN tracks me through it all.

I can make no purchases.

I know this is because of that negative review I left on a product because I was banned RIGHT AFTER leaving that review!!

That has to be illegal.

This also has to show why so many positive reviews are posted - because they’ll ban you for anything less than that!

Ugh I’m so irritated. Truthfully I get so much of my stuff from SHEIN lol… but I know something deeper and more illegal is going on here.

I just want a lawyer who’ll take a percentage of my winnings in a lawsuit 😭

Helloooo, I was just browsing on Shein for the first time in a while and realized the sizes are generalized for every item now, or at least for most items? A T-shirt in 2 XL had a size of chest 152 centimeters so I knew it's really oversized (every item had different measurements) while now every item (or most) say something like chest 113-119 centimeters. Is this new??? Is someone similarly annoyed at this like I am because how tf should I know what sizes to pick with them being so unregulare? Unfortunately Shein isn't what it once was anymore, they always change stuff but it never ends up being better but instead makes the shopping experience worse!!
