Where does this 3 euro per item come into play. I just “tested” it by putting something from my cart to checkout and the only added was the standard shipping.

It didnt say anywhere about an extra fee even though i presume its supposed to let me know if im paying a “hidden fee” or when i will need to do that.

So anyone with recent orders, where does this come into play? When do you pay extra?

To cut a long rant short, my parcel from SHEIN, a split parcel has only been partially delivered. The first parcel, I was made aware by Evri had been “damaged beyond repair” in transit and to contact SHEIN.

This seems to be proving futile, I have emailed , contacted customer services ect. Has anyone else had this issue or similar.

I am not buying from shein again this is the third time items have been missing not just one item missing but 6 🙄 will I ever get a response or have I lost my money

For some reason, local vendors just don’t sell normal flat shoes where I live. It’s either transparent ballet flats or sling backs. I’ve seen what I’m looking for on SHEIN but I just don’t know how accurate their shoe sizing is. What is everyone’s rule of thumb for ordering shoes on SHEIN? How “true to size” are the shoes on SHEIN? Thank you!

I was promised 5 free gifts as I was fixing to get them it said shein had an error.. they also always say just 1 more cent away!! It's all a scam!

We all know the new EU tax is coming. €3 per category, per transaction. Shein isn't going to eat that cost—they'll pass it to us through higher prices.

But here's the thing: The EU receives 15 million small shipments from China every single day (according to my local news, but who knows?)

So here's my idea—and I'm not a tax expert, so correct me if I'm wrong:

What if buyers in the same zip code could group their orders by category and pick them up together?

Let's say 5 people in my neighborhood all want to buy t-shirts from Shein. Right now, that's 5 separate shipments → 5 separate taxes → 5 delivery vans driving to the same area.

Instead:

· Shein adds a feature: "3 others in your zip code are buying this category. Join them and pick up locally—save 15%."

· Those 5 people commit to buying within a 2-hour window.

· Shein sends one bulk box to a pickup point near that zip code (a local store, a locker, a community hub).

· Inside that box are all 5 t-shirts.

Now the tax part (and this is where I need help):

If Shein processes this as one bulk transaction on their end, do they pay €3 once instead of €15? Or does the EU still charge per item sold regardless?

Even if the tax doesn't change, the logistics do:

· 1 shipment instead of 5 → less customs paperwork.

· 1 delivery van instead of 5 → less traffic, less emissions.

· Lower shipping costs for Shein → they can share those savings with us.

The pickup point doesn't have to be fancy. It could be a local convenience store, a parcel locker, or even a designated time window where a van drops off all neighborhood orders at once.

Why this could actually work:

· For us: Cheaper prices + faster pickup (no waiting 2 weeks for delivery).

· For Shein: Huge savings on shipping and customs processing.

· For the EU: Fewer shipments to process = less strain on their system.

The catch:

I don't know if the tax is charged per shipment, per transaction, or per item. If it's per item, this whole idea falls apart. But if it's per shipment or per transaction, this could genuinely reduce the burden on everyone.

Also, would people actually walk to a pickup point? For 15% off and same-day pickup, I probably would. But maybe not everyone.

What do you think? Would you use this? And does anyone here actually understand how the EU tax is calculated?

PS: Who do I even contact to send this idea? Shein's customer support feels useless. Temu doesn't even have a public email. And the EU... do they take suggestions from random people on the internet?... 😤

Very bad experiences. Firstly, they charged me in USD when my account has and still is set to CAD. I paid 30% more as a result. I did not learn from that experience and placed another order. Got the wrong item. Spoke with CS and was sent a label to send it back for 'inspection' even though I sent all the photos showing the incorrect item. OK, sent it back. Few hours later, got an email saying they did not send me an incorrect item which is bullshit as I have proof. So, I lost that money too because they will get the item back and not refund me. I would much rather pay higher amount on amazon and get better results.

I'd never really bought anything from Shein before and I just recently ordered a Mexico World Cup jersey for $25 fully expecting a knockoff since the picture didn't even have an Adidas logo on it. But when I got it, it was in legit Adidas packaging and it seems to be a real jersey with like the Adidas and Mexico patches stitched into it. Even the washing instructions seem to be from Adidas. Is it possible they sent me a real jersey?

It's impossible to deactivate. The app won't do it, customer service won't do it. If you email their customer service, they try to tell you everything (like even wrong purchase dates) so you can't cancel.

After my first order on shein. Trying to order again is so expensive. I will add some things to my chart, and if I add more than 2 itmes, the price of both things goes up. If I keep adding items, it just does the same thing. When I go to cheque out, the price went up again, then when I scroll down, the retail price for everything also went up then I go look at my total and its telling me that for 4 items, that didnt cost more than R400 when I originally put it in my chart, I now have to pay 800 and the shipping is free so where is did the extra cost come from and I applied a coupon meaning the price was even more than R800. I tried this with 1 item, a book that cost R50, and my total when I went cheque out was R200🫩 it didn't do this the first time I ordered, so why now😪

My SHEIN item was stolen. I wouldn’t really call it a package since there was only one item inside, but it was pretty expensive—around $25. I’m really distressed because this was my first order from SHEIN. I know it was delivered to the correct address because the driver provided proof of delivery with a photo of my house. The strange thing is that it was a small item, but instead of placing it inside my mailbox, where I usually request small deliveries to be left, it was left outside. I don’t know what to do now, especially since SHEIN won’t refund me without proof. But what proof am I supposed to provide when I don’t have a camera or any photos or videos showing someone stealing it?

We know about the new tax they put on the items, and Shein decided to build it in their price, but with that since then I’m not getting any coupons and it’s ridiculously expensive. Am i the only one? Are they gonna ever come back?
