My daily beater

There are exactly 100 horses on this picture. I owned this french soapbox for a little over a year now. I've spent 3 times the amount of money fixing this thing, than what i've bought it for. It tilts in the corners like it's gona roll over, but it's hella fun with some 17" wheels. Thinking about porting the engine, and slapping on a small turbo, with 5-6 psi boost tho.

Radiator stop leak issues

I’ve got a car that leaks coolant, I’ve put radiator stop leak because mechanic told me that to fix it would be more than the worth of the car. It seemed to work fine for a couple weeks , now the engine is starting to overheat.

For reference, this is and old car with multiple other exterior and interior defects, I’m a broke student and I’m getting a new car next month after I move, so I just need it to work for another month maybe two then straight to the scrap yard.

Also , I only drive short distances , max 15 mins at a time, to work, and back 5 days a week. Shops and everything else are in walking distance.

Any advice on how to stop the engine from overheating even if it’s temporary would be helpful. Cheers!

Bought this '94 Astra from a wood chopping family company for 700€. 332k when I bought it (end of February), now with almost 338k. It's slow and heavy af, but it's a certified trip machine.
