Hi! I ordered this dress/tunic on Poshmark and it looks legit but I just found out about the fake doen market and I did see this one fake on eBay so I’m paranoid! I emailed customer care but I haven’t heard back and I want to try to get some feedback before I review the seller/still have time to reach out. It looks and feels real and the stitching is good but maybe the tags are sus? Idk
Is anyone else feeling deflated viewing the summer launch? I own the Giulietta skirt (and matching Yvette top) in gateau and realized the other day that you could completely see the garment tags through the silk despite the products being indicated as 5/6 on their sheet to opaque scale. At a $700+ price point for both pieces! And I’m not a total stick in the mud—I’ve knowingly purchased sheer, breezy pieces like the completely sheer, eyelet Roma dress, which have been fun to wear during hot summers here in southern Europe, or the sheer, beaded Gala dress, for which I purchased a separate nude slip. My favorite balance has actually been when sheer pieces like the Pamelina dress or Pascal top come with removable slips. I love having the option to go sheer or reach for more coverage.
I’ve been shocked when the pieces in the current collections that *haven’t* been explicitly denoted as sheer have arrived with paper thin construction that renders the garment sheer in any case (Madelaine dress, which is crazy work given the price point, as well as the Rhodia dress). I know I’m preaching to the choir here, but it just is such a bummer as a long-term customer who has been supporting this brand for the last six years. I know it’s wishful thinking to hope for sturdier pieces in future collections, but a girl can dream!

Sidra runs smaller and shorter than Marie (second picture). Sidra is almost a straight line skirt, while Marie is an A-line skirt. Sidra is bright white. Marie is beige. Being so sheer and narrow at the bottom (cannot take big steps), Sidra may not be worn as often as true A-line skirts. Should I keep or return it? Thanks in advance for your input!

Hiiii, feeling vulnerable here and worried I stumbled into something terrible. I am new to the world of slow fashion and have been finding old listings for Doen, Christy, and other brands. This woman’s account has been appearing in my feed and she wears lovely items but her heart is ugly. Her current stories include holocaust denial videos (no screen shot because I don’t ever want that garbage on my phone). This is not a part of the world I want to emulate (hard pass on dog whistles) and it makes me want to find other brands. The official Christy Dawn account liked many of her posts.

I have a nwt item I can no longer return I was thinking of selling on Poshmark but I just got the email for the next HMD event coming up. I’m curious if people who have participated found it worthwhile over just selling the item yourself on a site like Poshmark or Mercari.
I don’t love elastic on my body but this seems more of a shirred than elastic how does it fit? Should I go up a size or not?
I love these capris because they’re just so simple and the fit looks perfect but I’m not paying $228 for them 🥲. I found similar ones from everlane but my size is sold out :(. I also saw some at Nordstrom but they had really bad reviews. FP has some too but they’re “Jean capris” and I’m looking for a more relaxed material like these.
