Has anyone else had this happen?
I created a ShopMy link for a family member. My account was working completely fine beforehand. They made the purchase, and when I refreshed my ShopMy to see if the order had tracked yet, my account had suddenly been banned.
It was only one purchase. It was a dishwasher, so it was a high-value order, but I don’t understand why that alone would result in my account being banned.
Has anyone experienced this before or know why this might have happened?

I applied to 'shopmy' yesterday and was accepted this am. I did not have a referral. I'm open to useful tips for running my storefront. I have an etsy store so I will probably need a link tree for this.

Anyone knows if it’s possible to apply to ShopMy using only my Pinterest account? (No TikTok or IG linked)

My current Pinterest stats:

1.5M impressions
65.3K engagements
13.8K saves

I only have 49 followers which is normal on Pinterest, so not sure how they would compare my metrics.

For anyone else affected by the recent ShopMy account removals, I wanted to share a few options I found while researching.

If your account was terminated, your commissions were withheld, and your appeal has gone unanswered, consider documenting everything and filing complaints. The strongest complaints focus on the process rather than arguing whether the termination itself was justified.
Document:

The date your account was removed.
The amount of commissions withheld.
The date you submitted your appeal.
Any follow-up emails you sent.
The fact that you never received a response (if applicable).

Potential avenues:
Better Business Bureau (BBB): Focus on the lack of transparency, no explanation of the alleged violation, withheld earnings, and failure to respond after the stated appeal period.

Massachusetts Attorney General – Consumer Protection Division: Since ShopMy is based in Massachusetts, you can report your experience there. If multiple creators report the same pattern, it may help demonstrate a broader issue.

Federal Trade Commission (FTC): While they don’t resolve individual cases, they collect reports of potentially unfair business practices.

Your own state’s Attorney General: Many states also accept complaints against out-of-state companies.
I’ve noticed a number of people here saying they’ve appealed, waited the required 14 days (or much longer), sent multiple follow-ups, and still haven’t received any response. Some have said they’ve been waiting months or even over a year.
If that’s your experience too, it may be worth filing complaints instead of continuing to send appeals that never receive a reply. Even if a single complaint doesn’t resolve your case, a documented pattern from multiple creators is more likely to receive attention.

If you’ve already filed with the BBB, the Massachusetts AG, or another agency, I’d be interested to hear whether you received a response.

I’ve been using affiliate programs for years, and I’ve never dealt with a platform that has virtually no human support.
My account was suddenly banned without warning, and all of my earned commissions were forfeited. Months of work and thousands of dollars are simply gone. The only explanation I received was a vague email claiming I violated their terms, along with a notice after I appealed that I’d hear back within 14 days.
After researching, I found countless similar stories from creators who say they never received a meaningful response..some waiting months or even over a year. Their Trustpilot page is filled with complaints, including reviews from former employees raising concerns about the company.
To be fair, the app and interface are well designed, and there are plenty of opportunities to earn money. Unfortunately, none of that matters if your account can be terminated without a clear explanation or a legitimate appeals process.
The most frustrating part is the complete lack of accountability. If they make a mistake, there’s no real way to challenge it. They lock you out of your account, keep your unpaid commissions, and leave you with no one to speak to. That’s not how a company should treat the people who generate revenue for its platform.

Has anyone ever been successful writing to ShopMy support and getting a missing commission? I personally used my own link yesterday and haven’t seen the sale track yet.

Hey everyone, I'm really confused about how ShopMy works. I signed up almost a month ago, have 500+ clicks across several products, am an Ambassador, and have never made a single dollar on ShopMy except for getting $10 for getting to the Ambassador level. For context, my EPC is well over $1/click on AWIN, Refersion, Amazon (due to CC) and I typically make thousands of dollars a month across my other platforms... What's going on with ShopMy?

If it helps, my niche is beauty devices and I usually use ShopMy for affiliate links instead of linking people to my ShopMy store. I'm just about ready to give up.

Has anyone had success in getting their account back after getting banned for no apparent reason? Haven't heard back in over a month really frustrating.

What are we responding to brands that message us about their sales etc, there's soooo many messages!
