Avola

Hi,

I will be in Avola next week; I will be traveling there from Catania.

I have seen that there are buses that drive from Catania to Avola, but I am not sure which one it is.

Is there a website and timetable, and also can I pay with a card, or is it just cash?

Also, in Avola, do most places take cards, or should I bring cash with me?

Buses from Palermo to Cefalu

Is it better to take a bus or train from Palermo to Cefalu? I plan on taking buses to explore Sicily, going from Cefalu to Taormina then down to Ortigia, not sure where else to explore. I’ve got 3 weeks and would like to spend 4 nights in Palermo, a week in Cefalu, 4 nights in Taormina….. this is late September though mid October.
